All that is left is the library, Pretzelmaker, Eddie Bauer, Younkers, JC Penney, Bath & Body Works & city offices that were flooded out of downtown. I don't know if the rent is "too damn high" or what but this a terrible mall. The top floor is almost abandoned, except for mall walkers.

Oh, and another thing, the entire area around this mall is going gonzo nuts with business and new stores and restaurants. This mall should be a dream location. Instead it just sits and rots alive, like a hobo chained to the inside of a boxcar at the end of a long forgotten rail siding. Something strange is going on with this place. Makes me wonder what kind of property management company is running it. There is absolutely no reason this mall should be in such an awful state. Once the go-to spot in CR, now it is a shadow of it's former self.

I typically go for the greeting cards, wrapping paper, gift bags, bows, paper products and office supplies. I've also picked up kitchen pantry staples like spices and sugars.

In less than 10 minutes Assistant Manager Mike came out to my car with my order, informed me of the item they couldn't fulfill, loaded my trunk with my groceries, and I was on my way. Mike was super friendly and genuinely seemed to enjoy what he was doing. I didn't give the overall experience a full 5-stars because I don't particularly care for where they have the grocery pick-up located in the parking lot. She told me to call her on a specific date to check on the progress of my dress and said she would call if their were any issues. She actually ended up calling me as soon as the dress was done and I headed out that week to pick it up. The dress was perfect. The length was spot on and the straps never slipped off my shoulders or showed my undergarments. She did GREAT! Diane has been in the game for YEARS and was actually my family seamstress growing up. Sales were in full swing on most items due to the holiday season, other items not on sale and totally overpriced. I did pick up several clothing items with obvious defects; snags in sweaters, etc. Maybe just obvious to me, but disappointing given the price points on the merchandise. I had to try everything on because COVID. I'm glad I did because I left with 3 different pairs of pants in 3 different sizes. I'm short, but not really petite, so I checked out their petites department. Very picked over, but I had better luck online searching for those items. In general I thought the store was very light on new inventory and normal-heavy in the off season merchandise in the clearance areas. My husband said most of the men's department consisted of Big & Tall sizes, so he had no luck at all. Recommend checking out Penney's. Has a Kohl's feel, but a little more upscale than that. Disappointed in the lack of new inventory, though. Customer service was pretty lackluster, too.

My husband and i have installed similar items throughout our own house BY OURSELVES. I am under no delusion that i am physically as strong as most men, but if a job needs doing, ill be damned if i wont find a way to get it done. I apologize for ranting, but i have been absolutely fuming about this for a day and a half now. Great selection of window coverings! But we will be sticking with off the shelf items instead of custom order for now. Thanks!
