Finally get to update my Bills Brothers review from 7 years ago!…read more This place was hopping on a Saturday afternoon. I suspect everyone was out spending their stimulus checks and tax refunds. The parking lot was nearly full. My husband and I are closing on our new home in 2 weeks, and I thought we should check-out Bills Bros for a dining table. 10 years ago I had great luck here furnishing my home; I still have most of the furniture to this day. Bills didn't deliver on the dining table, but they did have a lot of great accent furniture at very reasonable prices. Think accent chairs, lamps, bar stools, end tables, walls decor and throw pillows. Once we're moved in I might come back and look around again. Sales staff are friendly and not at all pushy. Available if you have questions. Lots of clearance items and one-offs. I saw a new-in-box Barbie Dream House for $129.99 that my 10-yr. old self squealed over. You just never know what you might find here! No frills here, but the selection is nice. Recommend!

They do have other smaller household decor, like lamps, coffee tables/side tables, clocks, and the like. Their website gives only a brief look at their inventory, you should really go into the store to see everything for yourself. I would definitely come here first if you arn't on an unlimited budget. Only accepts Visa and Mastercard, no Discover or American Express. Just FYI.

Treasure Chest Collectibles offers a mix of items at reasonable prices. I occasionally visit and…read moredon't always find something to buy but this weekend I grabbed a handful of vintage trading cards (used and new/sealed) and a couple magazines. Even better, I was surprised to learn comic books were on sale so I got additional money off the latter purchases! The store isn't large and consists of four distinct parts: the front area, three small rooms, and a hallway connecting them all. Up front you'll find numerous trading cards and knick-knacks adorning the shelves. The first room on your right houses more traditional antique store offerings. Up one room (my personal favorite) is the toy collectibles wing. Think action figures and comic books. The final room is seasonal themed--mostly Halloween and Christmas. That one's kitschy to me but does open up the shop to more types of buyers who might find themselves in a holiday mood. Lastly, the hallway has videos and CDs, all a hearkening back to the physical media past. One thing I REALLY appreciate about Treasure Chest Collectibles is how they tag their items. By gently affixing sticky note-like labels to each piece, there's no annoying residential goo once you remove a tag. (Take note, Stuff, Etc. and others). Open your own box of old goodies waiting to be discovered at this small but fun place.

The indifferent: staff is friendly but a little too "worried" about "sticky fingers". I'm an honest guy, you don't need to stare me down - nonetheless, I understand they are protective of their store and treasures. Maybe I was just having a good hair day? The bad: one of the most horribly overpriced antique stores I've ever been in my life! Yikes. We would go again to look at the pretties but wouldn't mortgage our house to buy anything.

Since then, however, they have lost Von Maur, Spencers, Osco, Regis, KB Toys, B Dalton Booksellers, Dave & Barry's, Country Buffet, Sam Goody, Maurices, Brass Buckle, Maid-Rite and a number of local deli's, sports memorabilia & craft shops. All that is left is the library, Pretzelmaker, Eddie Bauer, Younkers, JC Penney, Bath & Body Works & city offices that were flooded out of downtown. I don't know if the rent is "too damn high" or what but this a terrible mall. The top floor is almost abandoned, except for mall walkers.

OMG, I can review this wasteland? I didn't think that empty fields with tumble weeds blowing…read morethrough them made it onto Yelp! This place is the classic example of a DEAD MALL. The only thing that kept this mall alive is that the floods came through in 2008, and city and county government had nowhere to go, but to a surprisingly empty, dead mall out on the edge of town. This place is so dead and lame that there is even a website dedicated to tearing it down http://teardownwestdale.com/ Here is a link to the entry for this so called 'shopping mall' on Deadmalls http://deadmalls.com/malls/westdale_mall.html Every time I walk through, I'm one of the few people inside, it's kinda spooky, like something out of a Romero movie. Uuuuuugggghhhh Brrraaaaiiiinnnnnsssss! Sadly, this place is empty, you wont even find zombies. I have no idea why Yonkers and Chick-Fil-A haven't pulled out. I'd imagine the Chicken shop doesn't leave, because it feeds the city employees who don't want to leave on their lunch breaks. Oh, and another thing, the entire area around this mall is going gonzo nuts with business and new stores and restaurants. This mall should be a dream location. Instead it just sits and rots alive, like a hobo chained to the inside of a boxcar at the end of a long forgotten rail siding. Something strange is going on with this place. Makes me wonder what kind of property management company is running it. There is absolutely no reason this mall should be in such an awful state. Once the go-to spot in CR, now it is a shadow of it's former self.

I came into kohls to do an amazon return and do some shopping…read more For the return: When I went to return my Amazon item there was a line with 19 people in front of me. And because it was taking so long people in front of people were leaving. Ashley was working all by herself and going as fast as she could. This is no fault of hers but kohls should have had another person helping her. Not only that but her coworkers were walking by not assisting and one even asked "aren't you supposed to be done?" And she was working passed her scheduled time with no one helping her. She was super apologetic to the customers and very helpful. If a management reads this please know Ashley who was working 4/6/25 who has glasses and dark hair was doing a great job. However, there needs to be a team meeting on teamwork because even though people are in kohls for Amazon returns, they weren't mad at amazon they were mad at kohls. While shopping: Something I also noticed while shopping around the store was the lack of organization. Almost everything I picked up was not in the right section or completely different brand so I had no idea if it was the price it said on the rack. This was all throughout the store. I think the team should go through the store to reorganize and fold things. It made me not able to find what I was looking for. I did ask an employee if they had a certain pair of pants in a smaller size that I found in a random section and they checked on a device and said they did but when they lead me over to where it was supposed to be we couldn't find them and there were more random things in that section. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get those pants because of this.
