I came into kohls to do an amazon return and do some shopping…read more For the return: When I went to return my Amazon item there was a line with 19 people in front of me. And because it was taking so long people in front of people were leaving. Ashley was working all by herself and going as fast as she could. This is no fault of hers but kohls should have had another person helping her. Not only that but her coworkers were walking by not assisting and one even asked "aren't you supposed to be done?" And she was working passed her scheduled time with no one helping her. She was super apologetic to the customers and very helpful. If a management reads this please know Ashley who was working 4/6/25 who has glasses and dark hair was doing a great job. However, there needs to be a team meeting on teamwork because even though people are in kohls for Amazon returns, they weren't mad at amazon they were mad at kohls. While shopping: Something I also noticed while shopping around the store was the lack of organization. Almost everything I picked up was not in the right section or completely different brand so I had no idea if it was the price it said on the rack. This was all throughout the store. I think the team should go through the store to reorganize and fold things. It made me not able to find what I was looking for. I did ask an employee if they had a certain pair of pants in a smaller size that I found in a random section and they checked on a device and said they did but when they lead me over to where it was supposed to be we couldn't find them and there were more random things in that section. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get those pants because of this.

Just there today. Kohls is looking more and more like TJ Maxx and Homegoods. The kitchen section…read morehad nothing. We couldn't find a check your price scanner. And, now, only one side of the store has registers. I will not be shopping there anytime soon. I can get my Sephora online anyway. Extremely disappointed by everything.

Their hunting dept. employees could use some training in customer service. They didn't treat me horrible, just kind of talked down to me. I pointed out some of their pricing as to some other local stores and guy kind of chuckled and said well, we're just not going to price match. I said ok, no problem. A more recent visit to this dept. I mistakenly was thinking of a local competitors ad when asking a question of their stock, and I apologized for my mistake and taking up his time. Which he was more than condescending tone with his reply, that's OOOK, I get questions like that all the time, you didn't waste my time at all. I'm 68, I like a good deal , quality and I look for value and just a little courtesy. I don't need to be treated special, I just don't need talked down to, or dude splainined to. I know these two particular gentlemen won't care, but I did make three pretty substantial purchases, just not from Fleet Farm. Big mistake Huge!

**Car Wash Warning**…read more I would not recommend using the car wash here. My Tesla got scratched after using the car wash here for the first time. I submitted a claim to Corporate and was met with a Corporate Karen who told me, "I just can't reasonably foresee paying out your claim." Her reasoning was that if something was caught in the brushes, it would've left a very distinct scratch on my car. Apparently, she's an expert in every single way a car can be scratched by every unknown item that can possibly ever get caught in car wash brushes. My paint was perfect before going in, and now I have this mark on my Tesla thanks to this. The best thing about having a Tesla is that it video records in sentry mode, so when one of the employees was inspecting my car he said, "ya, this scratch definitely looks like it's from something caught in the brush because of the way the paint is laid back on it where it's scratched. I sure hope corporate pays this claim for you, they definitely should!" Well, unfortunately, the lady from Corporate just got an attitude with me and decided not to do anything about the damage caused. Stay away from here at all costs.

This place has gone downhill recently. It was never very organized but the last few times going in…read morehere it's a mess! Summer clothes mixed in with winter clothes, and many don't have the price tag attached. The selection compared to other Tj max's is awful. I thought the CR store was bad but they apparently have new mgmt and it's come a long way. I prefer Marshall's at this point as they have really cleaned up their store and it's so nice to have staff that greet you, and a very nice selection of men and women's clothes but most importantly, it's organized and clean.

We're all aware that a TJ Maxx store is not designed to be the most organized place to go shopping…read more I'll admit that part of the fun is finding that needle in the haystack. With that being said however, this store seems always be torn up and out of control, especially in the back. It gets so cluttered that nearly everything you pick up (I'm specifically thinking of frames and artwork) is chipped, dented or straight up broken. I get it - I'm getting a good deal. But what good does a bargain do for me if the product is damaged? This is not the sol reasoning behind my two star review though... It's the atrocious customer service. There is a woman that seems to always be working the registers on the weekends. She might be a lead or supervisor... She might also just be a bossy coworker... All I know is that she is not customer service focused. I have repeatedly stood there for 2-3 minutes while she finished folding shirts, she has rudely told me "No! Over here!" when I stood on the wrong side of the register, and when I needed to make a return because the product was defective (Huge hole in a shirt) she made a big deal out of not having a receipt, even though the tags were attached and I had the same card that I paid with. While this woman is my primary example, everyone else seems to almost run the other way when they see you coming to ask a question. On another occasion, I asked if an item was still only 25% off or if it had been discounted further since it had been sitting there, on sale, for more than 2 weeks. Her response to me was, "Oh I don't know... It looks like it says 25%." I asked if she could scan it and see and she once again gave me a wonderful response of, "I can't. I don't have a scanner." At that point, I put my item down and left. I decided against buying the $200 tray that I probably didn't need anyway....

Since then, however, they have lost Von Maur, Spencers, Osco, Regis, KB Toys, B Dalton Booksellers, Dave & Barry's, Country Buffet, Sam Goody, Maurices, Brass Buckle, Maid-Rite and a number of local deli's, sports memorabilia & craft shops. All that is left is the library, Pretzelmaker, Eddie Bauer, Younkers, JC Penney, Bath & Body Works & city offices that were flooded out of downtown. I don't know if the rent is "too damn high" or what but this a terrible mall. The top floor is almost abandoned, except for mall walkers.

The only thing that kept this mall alive is that the floods came through in 2008, and city and county government had nowhere to go, but to a surprisingly empty, dead mall out on the edge of town. This place is so dead and lame that there is even a website dedicated to tearing it down http://teardownwestdale.com/ Here is a link to the entry for this so called 'shopping mall' on Deadmalls http://deadmalls.com/malls/westdale_mall.html Every time I walk through, I'm one of the few people inside, it's kinda spooky, like something out of a Romero movie. Uuuuuugggghhhh Brrraaaaiiiinnnnnsssss! Sadly, this place is empty, you wont even find zombies. I have no idea why Yonkers and Chick-Fil-A haven't pulled out. I'd imagine the Chicken shop doesn't leave, because it feeds the city employees who don't want to leave on their lunch breaks. Oh, and another thing, the entire area around this mall is going gonzo nuts with business and new stores and restaurants. This mall should be a dream location. Instead it just sits and rots alive, like a hobo chained to the inside of a boxcar at the end of a long forgotten rail siding. Something strange is going on with this place. Makes me wonder what kind of property management company is running it. There is absolutely no reason this mall should be in such an awful state. Once the go-to spot in CR, now it is a shadow of it's former self.
