Store is filthy. Boxes everywhere and most of them empty. Shelves are messy and mostly empty. No way to get a cart down some of the aisles. Register #2 open light on. Register #3 light off and accepting customers when he yelled his register was open and not accepted the next customer In line. There were 5 people in front of me and at least 6 behind me. Employees don't talk they don't assist. Customers are amazed only one register is open and one customer literally growled. Omg this store is disgusting. First of all you can't even get in the store because there is so much shit in front. Then trying to walk down the lanes there are boxes stacked everywhere it's a fire hazard. Another thing clean the floor. It looks like it has never been mopped. And the store was just remodeled. I also asked for the key to the washroom and was told it's out of order. Really how can you let your employees work without a bathroom. This store really needs to do better. read more

I was at this Bloomingdale Dollar Tree today. First, let me tell you it was the filthiest store I was ever in!!! It was a disaster. Merchandise all over the floor!! I bought some reading glasses for my husband. When I got home the receipt said I was charged $1.50 per pair. I called and spoke to Manager who told me that the prices are supposed to go up to $1.50 in a few weeks, but he increased his prices now!! I said I never heard anything about prices going up ... He said yes, they're going up!! I said why wasn't there any signs up., he said there is!! There was not any signs up about the prices!!! I told him his store was filthy and I was going to call Corporate and he hung up on me!! I tried to call back and he would not answer. PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! The best dollar stores are ones where everything is...a dollar! I definitely like this chain better than the Dollar General where everything is priced differently. I came here looking for cooler ice packs, which I have seen before, but can no longer find. Fail. I also wanted some sauce bottles, which they also didn't stock. Double fail. I did find a couple of items that I didn't need but wanted to purchase so I could feel like it was a successful shopping trip. I stood in a line about 4 customers deep and then I heard the cashier... "Oh no, the system just crashed." Ugh...these 2 things weren't worth the wait so I put them back. This place is pretty busy so there's always a line. read more

I always find myself disappointed with the selection at this dollar store. I'm giving it 4 starts because they are good in everything except selection. Whether I see a video saying you can purchase the item from the dollar store, or hear it from a friend, I often leave here without my complete list of items. Other than that, the location is good. The store is clean and organized. It's mostly well stocked and the workers are nice and friendly. I usually get party supplies for kids birthdays and they do have a wide variety of colors for table cloths, paper plates, utensils and balloons. read more

I usually visit the Winston Plaza Dollar Tree, which is closer to home. I decided to stop by here one afternoon after work, to wait for traffic to go down a little. This is by far the cleanest, best stocked, and best organized Dollar Tree I have visited. A world of difference from my usual Dollar Tree!! If you want to see messy, go give them a try! I stocked up on some school supplies and home essentials and was quickly checked out by a very friendly lady. She was sweet and even complimented my nails. Again, a huge difference from my usual Dollar tree, where I'm lucky to get a "hello" from the cashiers. I think I'll be stopping by here more often! read more

I'm a fan of this place as well. Perfect for buying cheap gift bag stuffers or something that you need disposable (i.e., use one time) and much cheaper than the party stores locally. Takes cash, some credit cards and other little known fact - Sunday papers are a buck here as well so you can get your second batch of coupons to save more money weekly. Typically very clean and the product selection is on par with more stores of this type. read more

I actually really like this place . . . and not because everything is just a $1. Every time I got there I realize there are so many basic that they have there and it's a fraction of the price I'm paying at the grocery. They also have a good selection of other items ranging from home goods to gift wrapping even to yarn (yes, I had to get the knitting reference in there!) : P Even better than before, they now take credit cards (Visa and Discover). When I first started going you could only use your debit card and it had to be at least a $10 purchase. All in all, I highly recommend Dollar Tree. read more

VERY clean which is a rarity in these places! Also takes debit cards which you can't do in all dollar stores. That aside, this place is good to go and get stuff like cleaning supplies, cheap picture frames or stuff for kids goody bags. They also have some food and candy, but it's no real bargain. The best stuff I've gotten from here is called LAs Totally Awesome. It comes in a powder and liquid form. I use the powder stuff in my laundry and it gets out EVERYTHING! We have lots of stains here and now that baseball is starting it will be really bad. But with this stuff, it all comes out. AGH! Do I sound like Suzy Homemaker???? Store review: Not your mom and pop dollar store. I haven't been to a dollar store in many years and was surprised at the selection available. Although ultimately it still is a dollar store, but your dollar can go a longer way. From kitchen to toys to children toys you can take your pick all for a dollar. They even have grocery now in the fridge ... although it makes me nervous and I have never bought frozen or fridge food from a dollar store. The biggest surprise is the greeting card section. Although they are the cheaper american greeting card they are still cheap at 1 dollar (although the signs said 2 for 1 dollar I was charged 1 dollar per card... I didn't complain because it still was cheaper than others). Check out is great now because you can use your credit card. The sign says they accept mastercard. I assume based on other post Visa is also accepted as well. All and all good to check out a random item, but otherwise I can't say I will shop here often. This place has nice stuff but the staff is very rude and unhappy. If u are unhappy with ur job you should get a different one but don't take it our on ur costumers. The management should fire and get new employees who want to work not be rude as heck and look very miserable at their jobs. read more

They lock the doors to the store ten minutes early, in order to begin the "clean-up" early. They have no problem turning customers away. The staff isn't friendly, they are very short and untidy. I've chosen to drive to an alternate location whenever possible. read more

I will never go to this location again. I went there Saturday. I bought 20 items and had 4 coupons for four items. The sign over the registers state they accept manufacturers coupons. The cashier called a manager over to assist her. The manager never acknowledged me but exclaimed out loud how she hates coupons. How the chain is stupid for accepting them to begin with as she hand keyed my coupons in she complained out loud how she hates coupons the line started to pile on since there was only one register open. People were getting frustrated and the whole time she made it seem like it was all my fault. The audacity! That I would even bother her with coupons. Telling the cashier how they can't give things away for free. I held my tongue and grabbed my bags and left. I've never been so disrespected by a store manager in my life. I love the Dollar Tree, and they have this great cleaner called Awesome. I never heard of it. But it really does a great job on getting stains out of carpet. I just sprayed it on and wow it took that catsup right out. Thanks Dollar Store you get some really cool stuff. read more

This Dollar Tree is always a mess and in a state of chaos! They are out of stock on regular items constantly. If you go with a shopping list, you will leave with only 10% of your list on any given day. There will only be one check-out lane open, so make sure you plan on waiting forever. There are also two completely different types of shopping carts (older plastic and newer all-metal carts) that do not fit together, so the cart corral is a total jumble of carts (when there is actually one available) Many of the employees seem angry and inconvenienced if you ask for help. Even the parking lot is a nightmare. I do believe part of the issue is the crowding. This is something I've noticed in many of the stores in this particular shopping center. It's best to avoid it. Go to the Dollar Tree on North Ave. & Rte. 59 instead. The employees are very nice and always welcoming. The store is clean, well stocked, and organized. The best thing is: you won't feel like you need therapy when you make it out of the store! read more

I went in during my lunch hour at noon to purchase birthday balloons for my son. I saw the two cashiers by the balloon area had a line full of customers so I searched for the next available employee. I came across two female workers who were chit chatting away. I kindly asked for assistance with the balloons and one of the workers responds with an attitude, "there are two workers at the front that are in charge of that."
