One of the smaller Dollar Trees limited selection but people there try to work as best as they can they are obviously short staffed most of the time when I go there they are short-staffed and sometimes customers are not very accommodating and all they do is complain but they are doing the best they can give up the good work even with complaining customers the staff still serves people with the big smile

I love this store. They have a lot of variety of different items, from books, to makeup, to food. The value is incredible, especially for items that are sold somewhere else much higher. The service is nice.

Came in quick to get some flavors for my bottle waters, the store was decently packed with Easter candy, employees were nice, and decent value for the amount of sticks you get for the water.

They have Lysol!

Writing a review for the Dollar Tree seems a little odd for me, but considering the circumstances that we're currently in, I felt that it was necessary to share the wealth with my fellow SGV Yelp peers. Dollar Tree was pretty much stocked on my last visit with everything that most other places had shortages on. The biggest jackpot for me was the Lysol - yes, LYSOL! They had it and it was only $1! Other places are price gouging like crazy for this, and here is good ol' Dollar Tree, selling it for a very low price. I have my love/hate relationship for Dollar Tree, and as of right now, it's more of a love relationship. Also, shoutout to the workers that are hustling to make sure that we have the essentials that we need during these tough times.

NOT Acceptable

The word I can think of to best describe this store "reliable." Sure; it may not be the biggest or most varied Dollar Tree on the planet; but it makes the absolute most of what it does have. There are hardly any stocking issues here; even with current supply shortages as well as labor reduction in the workforce. That's saying something for management here; great job! The employees that are here work hard; & have come to my rescue many a time; even going as far as looking in the back for a certain item I was really looking for. Lines move relatively fast here; bathrooms are available (with key), and the store is in near tip-top shape as far as cleanliness can be expected. Lastly; the seasonal rotation is a plethora of items you simply cannot beat the deals on; even at the new $1.25 mark - this store has a large inventory of holiday and party goods, on hand. This is just an all-around example of what a properly run store should look like ! No-frills, reliable, sustainable!

I love the greeting cards at Dollar Tree and I especially love they have a section of military greeting cards. My son is a US Marine and I was so excited to get a card for him today from dollar tree. OOH-RAH!

Dollar Tree is not on my regular rotation of stores at which I buy stuff. It is worth noting that, as a man who values time and efficiency, I don't go shopping. I go buying. The distinction to me is that shopping is simply going to a store to see what they have. Buying is going to a store with a specific item or items in mind that I wish to purchase, after having established that the item or items in fact are in that store. This minimizes the actual time that I need to be at a store, and not doing other activities, like say, sitting on the couch or throwing the ball with the dog, or... You get the idea. I like buying, I hate shopping. This is an important point in terms of my dollar tree experience. I have never gone into a dollar tree to just see what they have. Instead, when I need greeting cards, gift bags, a box of plastic forks, inexpensive picture frames for student awards, or some seasonal campy tchotchke to decorate the office in a cheesy way, Dollar Tree is awesome. The store has a variety of junk. It has always been reminiscent of the old Pasadena Woolworth's from when I was a kid in the 80s. Where else can you buy energy drink mix, a bag of plastic combs, and a rolling pizza cutter... All within two or three aisles of each other? Occasionally, dollar tree will have some rare gem that sells out fast like those little solar powered head bobbing moving tots that live in car dashboards and kitchen windowsills. This particular store is pretty well-stocked, and they keep it nice and clean. Cashiers are friendly for the most part, and there's always plenty of parking in the giant lot. Like many of the stores around my school, after school you might find several students in the Dollar Tree. They are well behaved good kids, but if being around adolescents bothers you, do us all a favor and just be somewhere else around 2:40. And no, I don't mean the Boba tea place two doors down.

Defective tablecloths. Check them by rubbing them together to see if they turn to dust on you.

If you are a fan of the Huntington Collection in Pasadena, you'll be sure to love the Bargain Box. Just like the Huntington Collection, I can't call it a thrift shop since it's not like any thrift shops I've been to! Looks more like an expensive antique shop when you step inside. I was blown away by the quality of the available merchandise, especially the housewares and decor. It's very evident that all of the pieces on sale were meticulously cleaned and staged by the hardworking staff. All of the furniture and housewares are excellent condition, not to mention very well priced. Make a point to visit before Halloween! The store is all decked out with Halloween decor! The Bargain Box is managed by the Assistance League of Arcadia, and one of their worthy endeavors is Operation School Bell, which provides much needed clothing as well as school supplies such as backpacks and books to children in need in neighboring local schools. There's a small parking lot but there should be plenty of street parking available if needed. Also, be aware that the store has limited hours since it's managed by volunteers. It's only open two days a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 10am to 1pm.

Clothing, jewelry, books...they carry a little bit of everything here. I enjoy browsing the racks and shelves even when I leave empty handed. Good to know: They are only open on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I suggest subscribing to their email list so you know the weekly happenings before you visit. The lot is on the smaller side and it fills up pretty quickly. There is plenty of street parking on Live Oak, but that also fills up on Wednesdays. If you arrive a little before opening there is usually a short line outside to get in, but there is never a mad rush to get in or anything, so don't let the line scare you away!

Learned a lot and really appreciate how I could find most of what I need from this shop. It's a warehouse and full of good deals with quality products. Always been raving about cashiers at this dollar tree store as they always say welcome or I don't…read moreknow... just nice and accommodating. Today was different. Cashier just stares at you blankly, with no care in the world. My daughter was trying to be responsible and pay for her toys... $6.66. She gave $10 and I said use your change to the coins...mind you, she is 9 years old so she was trying her best to count her coins- 2 quarters, a dime and 4 pennies. Unfortunately, she put the change on the conveyer while counting her money and the 2 quarters fell into where it the conveyer rolls down. I told the cashier who's been just staring at her (no there's just my niece next in line and 1 more person) that oh can you just get the rest, it fell. While my daughter was handing her 2 more pennies to make it to 66 cents. "It's under. I can't get it." Just staring blankly. No expression. No oh poor kid she lost her money somewhere in the twilight zone. Just staring at me with her hand out with the only 0.16 on her palm waiting for us to give the 0.50. Omg I know it's only 0.50 but just a bit of sympathy !! my daughter just looks at me like so sad that her money got lost. So we just paid it. I was trying to look at name tag to get her name, but of course no name on it. It's just so frustratinggggggg. Well I have my disgusted a dollar in return. She didn't want to take it saying it's her fault she lost it. :( If anyone from management is looking into this, it happened today, 10/18 Sunday after 9pm. Long hair with glasses. Then she went out maybe for a break at 917pm. With her demeanor, I'm sure she had made people upset or disappointed. Been in this neighborhood for 20 years.... I don't think I've complained about customer service at all dollar tree. I mean it's a dollar tree. It's my go to store so last minute needs.

The store had a variety of cute affordable gift options for any occasion. While he shopped at the store, he witnessed a passive aggressive female customer purchased a couple of items that seemed too large for the bag. She requested from the employer to have her items wrapped up prevent damage to her merchandise. The employer without hesitation took her request. At the time of payment, she pulled out her credit card and threw it on the counter. The employer took notice of this, yet continued to treat her in a respectful manner. You will be in good hands when you arrive here for your home décor needs and will be a valued customer regardless of the level of rudeness you bring. But please, learn to leave that personal BS out the door.

Worth a visit for anyone looking to buy furniture but not wanting to spend hundreds of dollars…read more There was a good selection of furniture and household appliances under $100.. max $250! Quality is very similar to Amazon / Mayfair, but a fraction of the cost.

Similar to Rich E.'s review of this place, his TL;DR is quite accurate: "Cheap quality stuff at low…read moreprices." However, my argument to such a poignant statement would be context matters deeply. As someone who is newly moved (I hate moving by the way, top 3 worst things in the world to experience), StockMAX was a fine location to look for items that might be a good solution for a few years. Similar to fast fashion, furniture and decor seem to be falling into the same trend of get new things every season. Rarely are things made to last as long as they used to be. However, with a different perspective you can see how StockMAX might find its audience better with those looking for solutions now with items that won't break the bank, but give luxury, even if it's only for a year or two. The space is essentially a large open floor warehouse. It is mindfully curated and has their goods placed in easily recognizable sections, ranging from cabinets, tables, chairs, desks, and random accessories you might want like ice makers, sensor activated trashcans, and step ladder shelves. They even have lawn furniture which would easily cater to any backyard activity and elevate your space. One of the best finds for me was a wide faux leather swivel chair. It has the air of avant-garde without the price you'd pay to be an aristocrat. Luckily, sitting on it brought forward a sigh of relief that it wasn't just aesthetically good looking but comfortable as well. Honestly, I'll probably end up buying it in the next week or two. That's not to say there aren't some stinkers. Most of the cabinets on sale look great, but when you get closer you realize the cabinet shelves are actually fabric instead of wood. Many of the desks look shabby and possibly breaking if you erased too hard on it. Some stuff just looked ugly. But, overall I saw more good than bad. All that being said, the statement of "cheap quality stuff for low prices" is still true, but hopefully now you can see where the value comes. Coming to StockMAX won't take up too much of your time, as you could probably speed run the whole place in 7 minutes, but if you are looking for an item here or there to tide you over for a bit, StockMAX might make your day.
