I shopped at this Dollar Tree at Kresge on 3/10/2023 @ 7:30 p.m. I normally enjoy walking through and seeing what kind of deals are available. Like Aldi's, I always get much more than intended. It's fun looking for deals and I have found products I like as a result. However, this time during check out, there was only 1 Sales Associate available. When I walked up to the checkout with my items, she was in a heated discussion with two other customers that at the register. Initially, I thought there were problems at the register. The associate was very loud and speaking in another language that I didn't understand. Eventually, I realized that there wasn't a problem with the register. The Sales Associate must've been angry about something and was spouting off to her acquaintances or friends. I do know they weren't saying much. She was doing most of the loud talking while they listened. No attempt was made to let me know that she knew I was waiting and would be with me in a moment. No apologies were made for my waiting while she was having an in-depth conversation instead of doing her job. I was annoyed, but tried not to express that. It was similar to having a line of 10 people with only one cashier. I guess because of Covid & the difficulty in finding employees that are good, sub-par customer service is the standard at some places. Not sure if I would go to this Dollar Tree again. The one on Lake Road in Sheffield Lake is much nicer. read more

I feel that any Dollar Tree is the same. They have a lot of random stuff and some really good stuff that you wonder if you need it or if you should buy it because it's cute. I love their little holiday trinkets. Being a teacher, this is the place that I go to purchase items for gift bags for miscellaneous holidays. Some items I would never buy at this store and some things I think are a really great deal. All of the Dollar Tree's that I have been to have been pretty messy. They don't seem very organized. read more

Good, well stocked dollar store. Lots of stuff to choose from and good for all kinds of little items you may need. It also sells frozen food and stuff, which the Dollar Tree nearer my home does not have. Good stuff. read more

The Amherst dollar store is very dirty and unorganized. Shelves are always empty and there are always boxes cluttering the aisle's. I have been in other Dollar Tree stores that are well organized and clean, this one always looks like a bomb went off. It's FILTHY. read more

That's ridiculous to me. Had there been a slightly less bad-faith response to my first ever complaint, I might have refrained from leaving a bad review. But at this point not only do I feel sick at the thought of continuing to shop here, I'm happy to let others know as well.

It was a highlight of the trip! The market is right downtown in a gorgeous old building, make sure to look at the ceilings. There are public parking areas all around outside, but it does get busy. Meat counters, fresh vegetables and fruit, sauces, Middle Eastern food, Greek, Mexican, Gyros, sandwiches, baked goods, salads and so much more are all over. Even stalls that repeat the same types of items have their own unique spin and history. It's busy, with people everywhere looking and enjoying their purchases. Prices are reasonable, especially how fresh and local everything is. I bought a bunch of small things to eat while we walked, together we bought shishkabobs and steak to enjoy at home the following day. It's a great place to shop local!

The apple cannon was a lot of fun and the kids had a great time. The event says it is open until 6. At 5 we decided to head up to the food truck and to get donuts and everything was closed up. They had a small stand inside with hot dogs and kettle corn. The place was really beautiful with the flowers and corn field plus cute picnic areas.
