I've visited this location many times and especially find it festive during the holiday season. AMBIANCE: This location is a standard WF store - spacious and clean. The store is also organized like other WF for convenience. I prefer it to the University Heights location. FOOD: Food selection is excellent and everything looks fresh! I found some items here that aren't available at my frequented University Heights destination. For instance, fresh breads you can pack yourself, plenty more smoked salmon options, liverwurst, chestnuts, and plenty of hot foods. During my last visit I picked up just a few favorites - smoked salmon, rotisserie chicken, baked bread, liverwurst, and some hot foods. I was very pleased with how easy it is to find everything especially later in the day. Typically, hot foods, bread, and rotisserie chicken are hard to find later in the day. The prices at Whole Foods are on the higher end. The ambiance and quality make it well worth it. SERVICE: The service is okay. The employees are selectively nice. Lines are usually long during busy shopping days like weekends. COFFEE SHOP: I've never had coffee inside the Whole Foods until today. I was very sleepy and needed a pick me up, wasn't in the mood to seek out a coffee shop. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of coffee drinks like lattes and seasonal offerings. I selected drip coffee, which was $2.75 for a large. I was very happy with this cup of coffee - not too acidic, flavorful, and awakening. CHRISTMAS TREES: There are plenty of Christmas trees - $29.99 for table trees, and $69.99 for regular trees. Table trees were not very lush, but many people were purchasing them. There are plenty of choices here so that you don't have to make a journey to a farm or other market. I enjoy my visits to this store. I look forward to stopping in again soon. It feels like a Giant Eagle or another well designed store. From the moment you enter, it's clear that cleanliness is a top priority--the floors are spotless, shelves are neatly stocked, and the overall environment feels well-maintained and welcoming. To be very honest, I was blown away. Staff members are courteous and efficient, contributing to the calm and orderly atmosphere. Whether you're picking up everyday essentials, exploring seasonal items, or browsing their closeout section, the layout makes the experience pleasant and efficient. I very quickly checkout through Customer Service in the last hour of the store being open. The clerk was super pleasant considering especially that it was the end of the day. Value! Value is unmatched here. There were a lot of cute ethnic looking trinkets in the Closeouts, some very cute Target clothes (up to around 10 bucks), and lots of home decor. Everything was super organized and I easily browsed it all. I spent $20 on sour cream, and closeouts (Hello Kitty sweater, pan, and plate). I thought that it was pretty reasonable. I also was peeking at this weekender bag but to be honest I have so many of them that I don't need one more. Lastly, the store has a lot of flowers outside for all your gardening needs. Herbs too! I walked through to look and they all looked well taken care of. Really healthy plants and huge selection. We've been shopping here since they opened and it's one of our favorite stores. Some items do cost a little bit more but you can usually find anything you need. (just like the radio ad says) The only complaint we have is their idiotic Points Program. I think it's a joke. Not only is is it pretty much worthless but it only benefits Drug Mart so they can track what you buy and market accordingly. Not worth the time to show your little card. Even the employees smirk and roll their eyes when you ask them what you can do with the points. Sorry . . . if not for that, I'd give Drug Mart 5 stars.
