Stopped in to grab some juices for a mixed drink, and I appreciated all the cute fall/Halloween stuff they had out. I was also supposed to grab some alcohol, but they didn't have the dark rum I needed. My man got two packs of beer though. Overall, nice selection and an easy place to browse around. I'd definitely stop in again when I'm back in the area. read more

I really liked having Meijer so close to my cousin's house while I was staying there for a little while. I kept finding myself coming back b/c it was so convenient, especially since you can find pretty much everything here all in one place. From clothing & groceries to kitchenware, household items, beauty products, & so much more, there's a huge variety of stuff to browse. I especially liked the supermarket section b/c it made grabbing food & everyday essentials so easy. I def found myself making frequent trips here just b/c it was so close & had pretty much anything I could need under one roof. It's one of those stores where you can go in for a few things and end up walking around looking @ everything else & purchasing more than you expected. The prices were right which was a plus & made it even harder to walk out w/o buying numerous items! read more

Very clean, especially a few years after opening. Groceries are usually higher end, prices a bit higher end, but usually rather calm inside. Staff is friendly, however there are times they cannot be found. The biggest downfall is the self checkout. It's a mess. Put too many items away too fast you have to wait. Scan too fast? Wait. Move the wrong way? Wait. Now, this wouldn't be a problem...if there was a checker to help. But they're never there when I am. So you wait FOREVER. Time is my most precious expediture and I often skip Meijer to avoid spending it. read more

Great clean store ! The store team members are great people and very attentive to the customers.

Got my first delivery order today & it was really fast & easy. I'll start using it at least every two weeks or so.

What a clean store! I've seen been impressed with Meijer, but this one is especially clean with well stocked shelves and wide aisles. They put great detail into the flooring and lighting. The frozen food section refrigerators are well lit and organized. We found almost everything we were looking for. It is pricier than I remember, we didn't see any 10 for $10. But still I wish they had Meijer or something similar on the east coast. Walmart superstores don't compare, not yet at least. read more

Clean store. Nice prices. But what will keep me coming back is the customer service. A lovely girl named Liberty T was kind and courteous, efficient and friendly. Makes a huge difference in where people shop when there are so many other places to choose from. Keep hiring the best!! read more

Wow. I love my small neighborhood grocery stores back home, but boy could I get used to having a shop like this nearby! I was delivering my Oberlin College freshman to school this morning, after a marathon road trip from Chicago, and he needed a few things. This Meijer store was located between our hotel and campus, about 8-9 miles outside of Oberlin, near Lorain. It is absolutely massive and has everything a college kid could possibly need, even a place to get a last-minute haircut. The fresh fruit, snacks, and drinks were a big hit and we stocked my kid's dorm fridge. The check-our staff members were really quick and friendly: Beth and Emily did a super job. And Troy welcomed us and made sure we were masked and following COVID precautions- great job, Troy! The prices were great. Loads of parking. Totally not crowded at all- there was no wait at check-out and we were in and out in under 15 minutes. Super clean and well-organized. read more

I love that they have a huge selection of organic foods, fresh, canned, deli, frozen, etc.! Get there early even though they are usually busy later in the morning & afternoon. Always stocking food & items. The customer service is great & helpful in the self check out area too! Prices are comparable to Walmart & the selection is much better & you get your steps in!! The place is huge with plenty of parking! Get your Meijer's app & save even more! This is the Avon location. read more

Produce is always moldy, especially the organic stuff. Always out of veggies , and meat. They either have terrible stockers or terrible managers placing orders. read more

This is one of the nicest locations I've seen!! They have a partial glass exterior and a huge parking lot. They have a gas station and great clips! Very clean store and I love the decor inside. In the bakery section they have so many options, more than I've seen at other locations. The clothing department is a little small but they have all the basics. Highly recommend! read more

The new Meijer store is amazing!! My mom and I spent two and a half hours in here because we just needed to check everything out. This store literally has everything you need. Most items are reasonably priced compared to other stores, but there are a few items I would probably get elsewhere because they are cheaper. Everything is super organized. It's a very appealing store. I went to the self checkout and the two employees working in that area were super nice and helpful. I also downloaded the app to earn rewards and just after my first trip here I earned $8 in rewards to use next time. I can't wait until my next shopping trip here. read more

This place is great! Big, spacious, lots of different departments. Huge grocery. Even a pets department! I was truly surprised! Staff helpful. The carts are not little people friendly though... as a small woman of 4 foot 7 the carts were 3/4th the size of me. Lol but definitely worth a spin. Oh and if you're looking for a recommendation, the Meijer box burgers *they're a dollar* (aisle 3) are delicious!!!! read more

I used to use another pharmacy prior to using Meijer's and It was the best one that I had ever had. The staff wasn't that friendly but the other pros outweighed this Con. I had to change pharmacies because of the change in my insurance. They did not service Walgreens which I felt was unusual. One of the pharmacy's that was listed and was very close to me was Meijer Pharmacy. Right away, their hours did not work with me. I work nights and had to wait until 9 or 10 am (during covid) to get my meds and a lot of times, I would get alerts telling me my meds were ready but when I would get there, they would tell me it was not filled. No reason why- just that it was not done, Then I would have to wait another 20-30 minutes to get those meds. Walgreens is open 24hr. One of the perks that pharmacy have is that they would call a doctors office for refills=sometimes Meijers wouldn't call the doctors office for refills. I would call them and offer to call the doctor for refill but they would tell me - no, we will contact them. This usually never happened and from that point on, I would have to call the doctors office myself and ask to contact Meijers for the refill. Once I called regarding my blood pressure med -which I had gotten no information from the pharmacy about, after I contacted them, and she said to me that she did not have the time to check and that she was too busy. I didn't get my medicine for approx 2 weeks. The doctors office stated they sent the refill information to the pharmacy a week ago. This is not acceptable and I am looking for another pharmacy. read more

It's become necessary to keep my phone out to take pics of sale items as the last several times we were overcharged. I was overcharged on a sale item and told the cashier to remove the item from my order.(more than 6dollars over) I did say " if I wanted the "Walmart" shopping experience I would go there," and that it's embarrassing to ask them to correct overcharges when other people are also waiting. Another employee walked up and asked agressively " Are you ok" to the clerk then gave me a "look". I did actually talk to the manager at that point. Now you can't even check your receipt??? I didn't yell or act badly. It's why I liked Publix. If something rang up wrong it was free...in turn, I was never ripped off at Publix. I won't be back for regular shopping at the Leavitt Rd location. and if the overcharging continues I won't shop at Meijers, period. Shame on Meijers..inflation isnt bad enough but they actually steal from you by charging more than shelf price then act like your the problem if you say something. read more

the pharmacy team members there are like no other. i'm in from out of town and needed a medication that i forgot and can't go without. they went above and beyond for me to make sure i had my medication when i needed it. i spoke with 3 different techs and they were all SO kind. they made sure to keep me updated as to when my med was going to be in and even offered to get it from other neighboring pharmacies when the order didn't come in on time. huge shout out to you guys! read more
