You will be so happy to know these cakes are just as beautiful, maybe more, then they are on Instagram! When we saw the holiday menu online, we knew we had to try it immediately. I love that they have an online ordering system where you are promptly invoiced to submit half of your payment ahead of time, and pay the other half when you arrive to pick up your order. The Studio is super cute with vibrant colors and quirky details that really give the space personality. They have a sweet little coffee bar at the front as well as a bakery case with brownies, cookies, and other house bakery specialties. Our cakes were absolutely fabulous. You can really tell the difference between a cake made with love and a mass-market store-bought cake. The peppermint chocolate cake literally tasted like a boozy York peppermint Patty. The cranberry almond cake had the perfect almond flavor but was not a complete sugar bomb. We all commented on how we loved the icing and attention to detail on both of these cakes. We had such a great experience with them that we came back a few weeks later To purchase a custom birthday cake. Again, they exceeded our expectations and we were thrilled. Wonderful staff, easy ordering and unbeatable cakes in terms of taste and beauty. This cake studio is absolutely worth the drive and you can feel wonderful about supporting local!

It took the flavor away from the cake. There was also a little bit too much of raisins and carrots for the little amount of cake you get. Be warned that they do close early. We just made it there.

So I was happy for that as well. All in all. I will come back and try and be earlier to see better selections.

Everyone was so impressed by the intricate design and how decadent the flavor was. The bakery itself is beautiful inside - smells fresh and amazing and the staff was so friendly. Definitely recommend ordering for any holiday or special occasion needs you have or just on a Wednesday to grab a croissant with your coffee...such a gem!

The bakery staff was very friendly, they kept in contact with me about specifics and made sure we were on the same page. The cake was ready on time, and I was blown away by the attention to detail. My expectations were exceeded to say the least, and my friend LOVED it! Not only was the cake gorgeous, but it tasted fantastic as well. I did not serve it until 3 days after picking it up and it tasted like it was freshly made that day. The cake was not dry whatsoever, frosting was still soft and not hardened. I would 10000% order from here again.

After dinner, we had some cake. It looked amazing! And it tasted good too. I felt like since it was such a rich looking chocolate cake that it would be very sweet. Well, it actually wasn't extremely sweet. I felt like it could have had more of a cocoa chocolate flavor than it did. The cake was large, heavy, and cost $75. I like sweets and I expected the cake to be more chocolaty and sweet. I would like to try other cakes soon. Good stuff!

If you wanted to buy their delicious treats and get good Instagram photos, the entire place is a goldmine. (Y'know, in addition to having great places to sit to enjoy your treats.) Their S'mores cookie was downright perfection, and I'm sad I didn't get to try more of their treats. Parking is a bit of a pain around here, so I'd probably stop in as a pitstop while at other nearby businesses. This place is really centrally located, so it's easy to pop in after dinner for a dessert to enjoy later. (That's what I did!)

I was amazed to hear that this bakery has existed for over 70 years in the same family. I was looking for croissants but they don't bake those. They bake cookies, bread, and a few other baked goods. I bought a sticky bun (I haven't tried it yet), beer claw with walnuts, coconut bun, and a small biscuit filled with bacon (my favourite) plus a very small free cookie was given to me. Everything that I tried was good but a little dry. The prices were very fair and not expensive. I was told that their hours are Tuesdays - Fridays - 7am - 5pm, Saturdays 7am to 3pm. Closed on Sundays and Mondays. I spent $6.25 total which is a good deal. Parking is at the back of the business or street parking. I found a free street parking spot when I arrived. I'll probably be back to buy a pack of the small biscuits filled with bacon which is $12 for a bunch of them. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 111/250 total reviews in 2026 - 952 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 31 May 2026

I asked him if I could help him and he told me he was making sure I was picking up after my dog and she's not allowed to go there (not even his property!). I had actually planned on placing an order with them next month to bring to my corporate office but after reading many of the recent reviews about this guy I have genuine concerns about the owner's mental health as it appears to becoming a frequent occurrence.
