I love this location! This store is always clean and inviting. The staff here are always so friendly and helpful. I love when the comment on your purchases. They always make conversation during check out and I appreciate that - it's a nice break from the hustle and bustle of shopping. I love the selection of food. I always love browsing through the meats, cheeses, and dips. I love the frozen section too. I love the asparagus risotto and the mushroom risotto. They also have really delicious soup dumplings and gyoza. I don't know that I have purchased anything I haven't like. My love for this grocery store chain runs very deep. This store in particular feels slightly less hectic than the Woodmere location. Still very busy, but it feels like people value personal space a bit more and are atleast apologetic when they invade others. I came in with the plan to spend $75 on basic necessities for the week, eggs, fruit, veggies, 1 protein for me and some ground chicken for my dog. I ended up spending $115 which wasn't terrible because I got 3 soda waters, a bouquet of flowers and like 5 different new items that I wanted to try. My cashier assured me that the Dutch griddle cakes that I got were delicious. He was not incorrect. They are tremendous and will probably be on my shopping list regularly now. I also got some ube yogurt pretzels 3.5/5. Chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches, 5/5. Strawberry jalapeño crackers, 3/5. Seasoned corn ribs, 7/5 and these bao shrimp buns that I haven't tried yet. Trying new items at Trader Joe's will never get old. read more

A Trader Joe's never disappoints, but this one in Lakewood is special, I've been going to this Trader Joe's for it's feels like over a decade and I've never ever had a bad staff interaction or was displeased. weekends are always super busy and crowded ( understandable) and even when the worker look completely drained they will greet with a smile, I've come to know a lot of them by name and it's really just a great environment. New tastes foods are always coming through and I've gotten to try many delicious cuisines because of the ever changing choices. (And very nicely priced as well, and a feel good knowing my meals are less processed and healthier coming from The Joe's) I highly recommend this location, I cannot sing enough praise to the hard workers that make this spot such a gem to go to! read more

Overall, I'm a TJ's fan, and the store is well stocked and clean. I am generally able to find what I need and the staff are friendly. This particular location is at the Crocker Park shopping center, with garage parking in a small area of a rather tight garage. I find it kind of stressful to park here, between the dark garage, lots of movement, etc. Then coming in, the entrance is kind of narrow and tight, so the produce, floral, and dairy departments are very crowded, even if there aren't a lot of people in the store. You can kind of fan out after you make it through that throng, and they the rest of the store isn't bad. It's just kind of a tight, weird layout in there. So, overall, the experience isn't bad, but the logistics make it a little stressful and not my favorite location. read more

Not enough selection to be your weekly grocer, but certainly good enough to be a once a month or two stop. They have many items that you'll just not see anywhere else. For example, during harvest season they have pumpkin chips. Not pumpkin pie spice flavored chips, but pumpkin flavored chips. So good. I always like to call Trader Joe's the hippy American cousin of Aldi. There is not really one close to me, so I don't get to come there very much, but when I do I am always thrilled at the delightful variety of goods that I find. I love the cheese selection. I love the frozen section. I love the wine section. I love everything there. Pricing is great. Staff is super friendly. It's just a great store. It's not too big- very manageable size. The bags are sturdy and strong. It was a little bit crowded, but not so much that it impeded my ability to get what I needed fairly quickly. Check out lines were not long at all. I am going to have to make it a point to come back up here again sometime sooner, rather than later. read more

Love the food There is so much variety of food options at great prices. A love coming to explore and finding something new to try. For a small store they have a lot of items to offer. Staff is also so friendly. They unload the cart to scan all the items and bag it back up for you. The only tricky part is the parking. You have to park in a parking garage on either side of the market. If you buy a lot of groceries it can be tricky getting them to your car. The one parking garage has a cart return rack so you don't have to run it back to the store. read more

This is my closest and most local location to my residence. I have had an outstanding relationship with Trader Joe's-- especially while living in l.a. and always found their locations to be welcoming of all and supporters of equality and community. This place was a huge miss on this visit to the point of utter embarrassment and shock it almost brought me to tears. I visit here once a week or bi weekly at most and the staff knows me and my dog by name. If they don't, they walk up and shower her with love and attention as she is a registered service animal and permitted inside for health reasons provided by my doctors orders as well as by state regulations. While shopping today and at check out, a really sweet young girl who admired my dog in the aisle finally was able to shower my dog with attention in the checkout line-- we were next to one another in line. I had my shopping bag I brought with me on but got side tracked talking to this child's mother and the little girl so I didn't set my shopping tote down on the counter to be used-- I didn't even think about it to be honest. The cashier made very loud and apparent references to me possibly stealing from the store and was curious why I didn't set my tote down. Had that little girl not been there, I would've made it very apparent and probably asked for manager support for an opportunity to train this cashier on simple customer service do's and dont's. While cashing out, the cashier had the audacity to ask me "what was so wrong with me that I felt I needed to bring my dog to a grocery store?". I was so shocked that I responded with a smile and just kinda reiterated her of my medical requirements and then offered to provide my paperwork-- by law I don't have to-- just to satisfy her and to prove my point. I also asked her if she was new because the staff generally cheers when we come in on our weekly visits. Can somebody catch her up? Please! I'm so grateful that little girl was there because I would've had a much harder time being nice about this. The world can wear you thin and more and more people feel inclined to test our patience, I just came there to get food to feed myself. Good grief! I spoke to the manager at the location named Jen and offered her the opportunity to coach her team on the many walks of life that enter the doors. I know the cashiers name but don't want her punished or embarassed publicly. This is a chance to learn and be better. Sometimes it's best to just kind your business and realize that what isn't your problem doesn't need to become one of your problems. My dog is trained, through long term obedience training in the medical field. Mind your own business and worry less about others. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it has to ruin your day or someone else's. I may not return to this location again because of this. It is the only nearby location, too. I want to go where I'm welcomed though and this place may no longer be that for me and my family and friends. read more

I came here a few times after a friend told me the prices were not that expensive. I like Trader Joes for the variety of items especially organic food. I still feel that Giant Eagle and Aldi is a bit cheaper than here but I'll probably still come here from time to time because they have this really tasty VEGGIE BURGER that I love. The store is big and very clean. Everything is well laid out which is important for me as a shopper because an organised store makes it easier for me to find items. I enjoy the food samples that are given throughout the store. So YUM!!! Overall, great store with quality ingredients. read more

I just love this Trader Joe's inside Crocker Park! It's easy to park inside the garage (reserved spaces are always available for shoppers), they maintain a line outside to control social distancing, masks are required, and their register lines are so organized to be 6ft apart! But more importantly...the food selection!!! I enjoy grabbing something from the prepared food section for a quick lunch, or fresh veggies, or seasonal flowers, well priced wine (Bogley is the best), and healthy snacks (it's the only peanut butter around that isn't filled with oil)!! Nothing quite like a good Trader Joe's! This location feels a smidge small to me but it still has everything I need. I've only been a few times but the products have been stocked and easy to access. The cashiers/baggers have also been exceptionally friendly. I love how they offer ideas/suggestions/tips on the food you're purchasing. Parking is pretty easy with plenty of spaces in the nearby lot reserved on the first floor for Trader Joe's customers. Don't forget to try whatever sample item they're passing out towards the back of the store. Easy way to try new things without making a full commitment. read more

I can't tell you anything specifically earth-shatteringly new in this review, but this is a review written during COVID to compliment their adherence to safety protocol. When I arrived at this Trader Joe's and saw a line out the building, I immediately had anxiety. I thought, "Why am I about to wait in a line to be crammed in a grocery store? This my worst nightmare." To my surprise, after my fifteen minute wait outside, I walked into a store that was being kept at a low capacity with social distancing markers on the floor and immediately almost felt relieved (I was expecting the opposite). The store was immaculately clean, the employees were cracking jokes and all the patrons around me were being mostly respectful. When one shopper was wearing her mask around her neck, I appreciated that the employee asked her politely to put it back on. Thanks to this Trader Joe's for taking public health so seriously and making my grocery trip a little less stressful. I'm now stocked up on groceries for a while and won't worry about needing to go out anytime soon. However, I do regret not buying that $5 bunch of eucalyptus! read more

I love love love this Trader Joe's. I have never had a bad experience at a Trader Joe's out of the ones I've been to from East coast to Ohio, and it still continues to not disappoint! I adore their little coffee and food samples. There is typically a different roast, and I enjoy trying it out. There are always adequate samples with knowledgeable staff at the station. I tried cauliflower cakes here and they were so so good! They have excellent and unique product offerings, so I am always happy to try new products here. Their selection is just enough where I find something exciting whenever I go, but never feel too overwhelmed. I was outlet shopping at Crocker Park, and being able to stop by to grab a snack was a great choice. This is a great location and a nice place to take a break or get your groceries done after running errands. Their staff are also very approachable and helpful. We got a pomelo to snack on and the employee at checkout was nice enough to suggest getting a different one that was more ripe. I can't wait until my next trip! Always a nice holiday selection of little "happy" gifts. Cards are $1 each and great selection available. The flowers plants and trees are also always looking in top condition and for a great deal. I love the tasting area with a highlighted new item and fresh coffee to try. The wine section is a huge plus too! One of the managers went completely belligerent on me and called security because I registered a friend of mine to vote OUTSIDE THE STORE. his anger was so intense! It was traumatizing. I have been shopping at TJ's for decades (I lived in Los Angeles and moved to Ohio a few years ago) and am at a loss now that I will never feel the same about going into a Trader Joe's again. The pictures of the local Westlake, OH decor was a nice way to start my journey and sketches of Bob Ross and Albert Einstein made it fun. The Ginger Bread White House for $3.99 was the highlight of my stay. I did enjoy looking at local varietals of wine and beer and their new selection of disposable grinders. Loved those. The store was compact but spacious in the aisles and plenty of options for snacks, prepared foods and fruits and veggies. They also had a nice flower assortment in the front. Love shopping here!! They have such a wide variety of organic food to purchase!! The parking garage is close by and the first floor is reserved for Trader Joe shoppers. It is located next to LA Fitness. I have never tried their meat there because I can't seem to justify the price. I've definitely tried plenty of their frozen Asian food and quinoa burgers which are so good!!! Trader Joe's has such a unique selection of items. I usually go for all the sweet stuff! The cowboy bark, dark chocolate sea salt coated almonds (I don't even like almonds, but I can't stop eating these!), chai tea latte, hot cocoa mixes, almond butter, etc. They currently are not allowing customers to bring their own bags due to Covid. They have someone monitoring the door to let you know when you can enter, depending on how many guests are in the store. Someone was also wiping down the carts after they were used. I have always loved Trader Joe's for their products and customer service, but today was above and beyond! My son is getting married this weekend and I came for flowers for the rehearsal dinner. Roger, who checked me out, knew I was a wee bit stressed. He gave me a bundle of flowers on him and a big bucket with water. He also gave me words of encouragement, which was happily digested. I also picked up some dill pickle popcorn, because I'm a pickle person! My only criticism is the parking, I miss their own parking lot! Let me say upfront, I love Trader Joes (Tjs). I even drive over an hour to get to this, the closest store to my house in Canton. Ah I miss the days when the delectable cheeses, cookies, breads, dips and frozen goodness were only around the corner. But I'll take what I can get. What I love about Tjs is the healthier alteratives to staples I eat everyday. It's easy to find crackers with flaxseed, four or more flavors of hummus, and frozen vegetables with balsamic glaze. I have my staples that I buy there all the time including ready to bake pizza dough, single bottles of beer for $1, frozen penne arrabiata and glazed lemon cookies. Here are some tips for surviving the TJ shopping experience. Just know that you will get run over by wormen with strollers. It's a given. It happens in every Tjs I've ever been in across multiple states, Maybe because the aisles are smaller. It gets pretty crowded in there. Avoid peak hours like the weekend or you just might die. The parking lot is always packed. Never ever go to a TJs right after work either. There are so many yummy prepared foods every one is there to pick up dinner, a bottle of wine or a quick snack. I have been nearly killed in three or four TJ parking lots. Think the mall at Christmas time Expect a chatty employee to be blocking the aisle. Now because he loves and believes in everything they sell he will give you a graphic description of where the item is grown, harvested, processed and distributed. He will also suggest three or four other items to go with it. They all love their job, it's odd. I wonder if they're brainwashed or something. I have yet to meet a grumpy Tj employee. Love Trader Joe's! I've been going there since they opened. I go every week for bananas, organic apples, and almond milk. They charge just $.19/banana, no matter what the size! The frozen foods selection is amazing and they have great wines! They have plenty of other healthy, organic foods and the employees are very friendly helpful. I think it's funny how they always comment about different foods you're buying when you're in the checkout lane. It must be part of the company's employee training. I always bring back my reusable bags because you get to enter a drawing for free groceries every time you do! I have yet to win though.. :-/ The place is always busy on the weekends, so get there really early to avoid the craziness! Comparing to all the other Trader Joes I've been to this was a little smaller. It was also not as orderly as I've seen them. I like the location of their sample of the day which was to the side rather then the end of the store. They have a very nice wine section. What surprised me was the .10 cents for sampling the wine! Really? What happened to free tasting so they could sell more wine? I don't care if it was only .10 cents!
