This new location is exactly like all other Marc's locations. It is amazing how something so new can look like an old grocery store. I stopped in hoping to save a little money by not going to Giant Eagle, but unfortunately their prices aren't any better on the vast majority of their items. Where they lose me is on the overall shopping experience. The store layout is less than ideal and feels very cramped. I'll roll the dice on maybe spending a dollar or two more to not feel frustrated getting a half cart of food. read more

I have shopped many area Marcs stores and have noticed the Westlake store has higher prices than other Marcs stores.

Good variety. Smaller more accessible than big box retailers. Helpful employees. Easy check out. read more

I visit at least 6 different Marc's stores.... they all offer a great produce department, closeouts section and the Marc's stores with delis, always have great prices on their delicious deli meats & cheese! This store is going to make someone seriously sick one of these days. Bought pork chops, and hamburger meat. Next day went to cook it, and the smell of it was so horrific I almost threw up. No way it went bad in one day. They sold it already expired. Also bought a cheese and meat platter. Went to open it when i got home, and the cheese was green and moldy. read more

Not very impressed by this store. Their milk selection is not good (they have almost no humanely obtained milk that doesn't have antibiotics/hormones in it and what they do have is priced higher than other grocery stores I've visited this week), similar situation with meat (nothing humanely sourced and/or antibiotic/hormone free that I could find), they have only 4 or 5 flavors of Ben & Jerry's and a tiny ice cream selection in general, and lastly they have very limited organic produce (though they do have organic grapes which I've had a hard time finding at other stores). They DO have a large selection of most other things which is why I gave them two stars. I don't understand why they don't carry healthier meat, dairy and produce and I will update my review if they start! read more

A great Marc's store like any other that I've been to! They keep the store well-stocked and clean. The produce here has always been fresh and top quality! So much better than Giant Eagle across the street, at least from my experience. Plus, I'd rather support Cleveland than Pittsburgh any day! I go here a lot for their Earthbound Farms organic produce like spinach, sweet potatoes, carrots, and celery. The used to carry organic cauliflower, but that didn't last. Booo... They even have a deli at this location, but I rarely use it since I haven't packed a sammich for my lunch in years! Their whole roast chickens are good here, but sometimes a bit too salty from the seasoning. The checkout lines are the usual hit or miss like all Marc's locations. You have to be patient. The lines usually get held up when someone pays with a check (I HATE THAT! Get a Discover Card or use cash, damnit!) or the cashier is underage and needs a manager to scan alcohol. Stop in at Marc's for all your grocery needs and support a local business! read more

I love that it's open til 9pm, I needed a few more things for tomorrow's welcome home dinner for my son. The staff is kind respectful and the cashiers I like how they begin talking to you not just ring you out. Their prices are just right the place is clean everyone is wearing a mask there is social distancing some of the staff might ask you if your finding everything while you are shopping I have a three within short distance of my home but I always end up in this one read more

Prices are good and it is easy to check out with little waiting. However, the layout of the store is a little weird. Overall great though

This is one of the better Marc's. The selection of both groceries and household goods/ tchotchkes is good here. I have been able to buy not only groceries at a discount, but also a lot of things I needed for my kitchen and house like steak knives, utility knives, melon baller, big storage bins, and chair cushions. They also have a good selection of Italian bakery items and deli stuff (including self serve) here. About the only area where their selection is lacking is the pet supplies section - very few brands available so I end up buying the cat food and litter at Giant Eagle, Pet Supplies Plus or even at KMart in the same plaza, which seems to have rushed in to fill the gap on discount boxes of Fancy Feast and the like. This Marc's gets VERY crowded on weekends so expect long lines, but the staff does a good job of opening additional checkout lines including just checking people out through the Customer Service desk when necessary. The checkout clerks at this store are also pretty efficient at getting people through the line in the least amount of time. As with all Marc's you do need to pay with cash, check or Discover card only so I can't use my normal credit cards, which can be a pain in the neck. Still, if I have to pick a Marc's to go to, this is a good one to pick. read more

They used to have low prices if you didn't mind an uneven selection and an ugly store. Now they have really fixed up the store. It's very nice but the low prices are mostly gone (maybe they're still a tad below Giant Eagle - no great feat). Too bad. It's also annoying that they don't accept credit cards or debit cards and their plastic bags are super cheap. Their prices don't come close to justifying such inconvenience. Even ALDI accepts debit cards. read more

The store lacks organization and fresh produce. You can only pay using cash or you can use their atm with a $3 surcharge (no way of knowing this before checkout). It is 2016 right?! That's a bit ridiculous! read more

I can't make this up. Just had to go here (promised myself never again) as I need a few items and it's close. So I walked in at 12:07 on Tuesday, Nov. 1. NOT ONE SINGLE CART WAS AVAILABLE. NOT ONE! I laughed. Really??? So I went outside and grabbed one (wheels were broken but time is of the essence). I will say when my checkout was much quicker than usual - but I'm sure it's because there were no carts so people were just leaving. Upon checkout at 12:29 the carts were just then being restocked. I've never seen such a poorly managed store - and I used the word "managed" loosely. Is there a manager? If so, where is he/she? Why doesn't she make sure we can get a cart and checkout without any issues? Lastly, it would be nice if the 10 stockers I saw while shopping would not block the isle with their boxes. Seems simple enough - again - zero management. Always always always always a frustrating experience. read more
