Yes, the pricing is a little higher than other thrift stores but I think it's worth it. I have consistently found great items here like jeans and work pants. If I'm in the area, I always stop by. Also, since my first review I've never had an issue with staffing in the dressing room. Usually someone comes by to unlock one of the rooms when they see you waiting, all of the dressing rooms are usually full with other people trying on clothes but I've never waited long for my turn. I always suggest this thrift store to my friends and am always pleased with my finds here!

Lately, I've been seeing far too many poor-quality items from Shein and similar fast-fashion brands, so the shopping experience has become much less enjoyable. I used to love thrift shopping because it was a great way to find well-made clothing in natural fabrics like cotton, linen, wool, and silk. Those kinds of finds have become much harder to come by.

The best description of an Ocean State Job Lot is what Big Lots used to be like until it started focusing more on furniture and moved away from its core business model. Even though I do not frequent this retailer, I will stop if I am vacationing or on a business assignment and spot one. This location was clean and well stocked with plenty of items I had never seen before, like Kit Kat made by Nestle, which is predominantly seen in Japan and Canada. In the United States, Kit Kat is owned by Hershey, thus the flavor options are limited. So, of course, I purchased some unique flavors; even though I had enough clothes, I kicked up several New Jersey-themed t-shirts in the font style of the TV show Friends, which friends well received. It was a fun place to shop during my drive to my hotel.

I've bought a few collectible items most under $20 bucks. They can have some nice vintage furniture at times. And cool wooden items. It's definitely my go to spot when I'm in the area.
