Nordstrom it ain't and you have to deal with that but if you're on the lookout for inexpensive physical media (CD's/DVD'S) then you'll appreciate the needle in the haystack treasure hunt. Of course you have to know what you're looking for as some of these discs have been used and abused but for $30 you can easily give yourself an early Christmas present. You also don't want to sleep on Amazon who always seems to be purging themselves of overstocked digital orphans but Goodwill is definitely worth the browse. Five easy stars. read more

This store used to be very good however over the last 6 months has increasingly gotten worse. Despite the signs and advertisements of lowering prices, this location has not followed through. Save you time and go to the other locations in the area and you will see a sizable difference and substantially LOWER pricing in other areas. Basic Polo Ralph Lauren shirts and button downs for $9.99 where elsewhere they're $5.99. And other locations are in their market and close by. High price tags on "premium" brands that can be gotten cheaper on EBay. Even on Half Off colors it is more than the other stores as the low prices there would be half off as well being in the same market. Until they come back to reality and get in line with sister stores in the zone I will skip and suggest you do as well. read more

I shop at this goodwill frequently and have to say the people that work here are the hardest working people . I watch them constantly running in and out with new product all daylong everyday , helping everyone while doing all this the manager is very friendly and helpful . I have found some very good deals here. The staff is friendly and willing to price items. The noise coming from the back room can be extremely excessive-music blasting, glass being smashed, large items (pallets?)being thrown around. The resellers that haunt the back waiting for new merchandise can be aggressive and I do believe the employees will bring out specific items to give directly to them. read more

I've shopped and donated here many times over the past 5 years. I've only had positive experiences with friendly staff inside the store, helpful donation acceptors in the back, and good quality clothing. Some staff have even helped me sort through CDs and check for scratches. It's unfortunate that the dressing rooms are closed and that not every piece found will be a hit, but there isn't much the staff can do about those issues as they're dependent on other shoppers. All management needs to be fired at this location super rude and disrespectful to collectors and Vloggers. Just go to Atlantic Highlands for a family friendly atmosphere. Plus they allow scalpers to stand and weight and clog up the isle so they can get there hands on everything that comes out the doors before anyone else.... it says no loitering but how that's allowed is mind blowing. read more

Improve on what is said to costumers on time limits they have to return items. I was treated as a criminal when I insisted the manager who checked me out told me that I had 30 days. If I had known it was less I had time to bring it back the next day but I had my father's funeral to get ready for so I told myself I will do it when I return from Texas the following week. To my surprise when I told them this and they pointed out it was only 5 days to return, I explained what was said to me and they insisted she wouldn't tell me that. Then they said they were calling the cops when I said please I would have brought it back had I known it was 5 days. Firstly they didn't believe me and secondly they called the police even though I was having a conversation. Never again will I EVER in my life buy anything from this store again and if you really want to help the poor don't shop here. Give it to the veterans hospitals or nursing homes. Places that won't profit off your clothing that you give for the poor. Just discussed with the treatment of these people running the store. Horrible. read more

I came to the store at 6:49 to get one singular thing that I needed for tomorrow. I walk in and an employee yells to me that they are closed. The store had people in it and they do not close till 7. I stated that I thought the store closed at 7 and she said "exactly we are closed". I said I just needed to grab one thing and she just kept repeating rudely that they were closed. I have worked in retail and I understand that it can be frustrating having people come in close to close, but to refuse a customer to come in the store 11 minutes before closing and be rude is ridiculous. read more

Won't take stuff that's being donated. You need to get the "donation bouncer" just in the right mood to take your donations. If it's in anyway imperfect or not brand new, the will refuse it. If it's got a spec of dust. You better clean it. Since when is donating to help the less fortunate such a hard thing? Isn't goodwill an indoor flea market or used market bazaar? When did it become an exclusive club where only the finest items can be donated and the rest can just go kick rocks. Beyond rude the way they treat donating customers. The young ( maybe not so young) grumpy donation guy needs a serious attitude adjustment and fast ! We started coming here after the Goodwill in my neighborhood closed down during Covid. I'm so glad that this place is open 7 days and late hours. The other location I used to go to, they still had everything old-school on paper. This place, everything is in the computer, you just give them your cell#, they click on what goods you brought in and then hand you a printed receipt. Easy peasy. I am surprised at one of the reviews where the lady said they refused her items. They never looked at any of my stuff. I bring it in a bag, hand it over and that's it. read more

Wow just wow , please beware ! If you plan on donating perfectly good items made of white plastic make sure it's perfectly clean , better yet make sure it's in its original packaging and if you really want success donating make sure you carry the stuff in to the storage area , price the item then go place it on the corresponding shelf and then just to take it one step further drive your car around to the front , go in the store and re purchase your donated product so that the staff that accepts donations doesn't have to lift a finger ! I came her to donate some stuff this weekend. Both times I came the staff was ridiculously rude, ridiculing me and others for not having thoroughly cleaned certain items. Specifically a boogie board and a bookshelf. This store made me feel bad about donating and discouraged me from doing it again. What a train wreck of a store!! Totally over priced...for product DONATED TO THEM!!! One star due to the very poorest quality selection of housewares; and the Good Lord knows, their clothes don't even get my attention in this location. The shelves are in constant disarray, broken items of all sorts and nothing is displayed attractively. This store is such a disappointment; I am one of the people who love to Shop around for unique and fun items and I have had to go elsewhere on a regular basis. There is simply no charm or character whatsoever to the store. If they are getting good quality items they certainly aren't being displayed and I have no idea where they are transporting them. With the uptick and pricing that they are Charging they might as well have a small team in the back at the very least, fixing up the horrid furniture they are displaying. I like to shop there, Hazlet NJ-I got burned 6+ more, buying stuff does not work! Cannot test a dvd/vcr player WITHOUT A TV! Cannot test a coffee maker, WITHOUT WATER!!
