Aside from having some of the highest quality of meats, vegetables, seafood, and Italian specialties. I find the service to be delightful. Each and everyone of their staff members are highly trained, pleasant and knowledgeable. I find the price is slightly higher than most, but considering it's a specialty shop, it's to be expected.

It has some clothing, home goods, knitting supplies, toys, games, and more. It is CASH ONLY! I didn't know this until I went inside and saw a sign on the store, this was discouraging for me because I don't carry much cash around, so I was not prepared. Nothing caught my eye when I was looking around but like I said, it was busy in there so obviously this store has good finds. I would give it another chance and go back maybe on a week day when it's less busy and I can really take my time looking around, but my main take away would be to remember cash! (it's actually the smallest wood burning stove in America). I use it in my She Shed in the woods behind my house. Normally sized fire wood will definitely not fit into this tiny stove. And every store I went to had sold out of the small bricks. So I was gratefully surprised when one of the employees actually took a cord of wood from the front of the store and cut every piece to 1/3 its original size. The best description of an Ocean State Job Lot is what Big Lots used to be like until it started focusing more on furniture and moved away from its core business model. Even though I do not frequent this retailer, I will stop if I am vacationing or on a business assignment and spot one. This location was clean and well stocked with plenty of items I had never seen before, like Kit Kat made by Nestle, which is predominantly seen in Japan and Canada. In the United States, Kit Kat is owned by Hershey, thus the flavor options are limited. So, of course, I purchased some unique flavors; even though I had enough clothes, I kicked up several New Jersey-themed t-shirts in the font style of the TV show Friends, which friends well received. It was a fun place to shop during my drive to my hotel.

Great little business that just opened in the Junction, located in Belford. The owner is super…read morepolite and helpful, but not helpful in that overly-exerted-cars-salesman way. She also listens to awesome music while you shop! The place also isn't overwhelming which is actually a refreshing feeling. There are two wracks - one is designer pieces she picks up to resell (at reasonable prices) and the other is a wrack of vintage clothes (all SUPER adorable). There are other accessories there, from belts, to head bands and scarfs, to shoes and bags, to jewelry. Tucked in the corner of the store is a dressing room too. Best of all, the selection changes throughout the week, as she is constantly updating her collection. The best part is there is a discount wrack outside and a $1 box - I scored a cute skirt and a cute travel bag in this overflowing treasure chest. Overall: what a sweet place to shop and I commend her for having such a fun store. Sadly I am a true thrifter and I rarely splurge on clothes, so I am waiting for the right dress out of her lovely selection to buy. But you can NOT do much better than Penelope for reasonable fashion! And you are helping out a unique seller and vision when you do!
