We stopped by a week or two ago and I was completely charmed by it. It probably didn't hurt that it had snowed overnight (the first snow of the season) - it was the perfect place to spend a snowy morning, looking out the front windows from our table. It's traditional and charming and so French. They have a great selection of pastries, mostly classic French pastries. We had a few (I had a slice of Quiche Lorraine, which was perfect), and they were all great. We also had a couple of cappuccinos. The service was friendly and fast despite being pretty busy. The owner wasn't there, the person who was behind the desk was nice enough but clearly did not know too much about antiques or anything like that. I found some items I liked and intended to pay for them, they didn't have prices listed so I took them up to the employee. They spent like ten minutes just holding the first one and looking something up on their phone, presumably the Google average price for an item of that kind, which is of course a completely unreliable way to price an unidentifiable antique. The prices they told me they estimated for the items were a bit over-the-top but not necessarily unreasonable if they were actually of any confirmed value. But there was no evidence of date or proof of origin, so for all I know the thing I wanted could have been a papier-mâché craft made in someone's basement two weeks ago. Just not worth the risk in my opinion. So yeah, I left without buying anything. The selections seemed cool and I appreciate the employee trying to help to the best of their ability, but I don't like gambling when it comes to things like antiques.

Their selection of games you could play for free was excellent, and in good shape - none that we played had missing or damaged parts. And they don't charge for this activity. My grandson liked the posters on the walls. We took home information about their regular Magic games as my son has gotten back into playing. If you're looking for a specific game, it's best to ask for help, so the one my grandson wanted to take home and play some more was waiting for us when we were ready to check out. We will be back!

Sizing is the worst, especially when you apply your "QVC size" which is not consistent. Kim Gravel's clothing has the worst sizing consistently. I can't order from her anymore. Gotta go back to Macy's and Penney's.

I always am on the look out for vintage shops and amazingly these seem thin on the ground, so was delighted to find this one. Love this store and have shopped here ever since I moved to West Chester a few years ago. It is a place that I have picked up all kinds of great things from original paintings, to vintage glass and small furniture...they do have limited hours but as they are all volunteers, price point is also worth a note. Often these vintage places have hiked the price up and although you have a great purchase, it feels not so good as the bargain that you are guaranteed to find at The Woman's Exchange. :) You do have to be on it though, as I have missed out of things thinking it will be there next time and someone else has snapped it up, they have new stuff in each week so I check regularly and if I like it, I buy it! Nothing worse than missing a bargain! After reading another Yelp user review about their large Lilly Pulitzer collection I decided I should check it out. I'm huge Lilly Pulitzer fan, and Iwanted to know what they have in stock for before I stopped by so I give a call. I believe I was speaking with the manager because she was very knowledgeable . Not only did the woman on the phone count the number of items she had in stock but she proceeded to go through each and everyone pulling out the sizes that I needed. She gave me the prices for each and even went up to the mannequin to check the size of a brand-new dress (which also happened to be in my size) she pulled these all aside for me so that I would have first dibs when I came into the store in a few hours. Although I cannot speak to the store itself as I have not visited... my experience of this far has been very great
