This is one of those factory outlet stores that hopes to wow you with inventory volume, tight aisles, and variety of selection. Unfortunately, when looking for a dress shirt, they fall flat on their face. Why? There is no typical size organization for one thing, and definitely no attempt to resort stock as customers shuffle through them. Additionally, if you are looking for short sleeves only, you have to sift through all the long sleeve shirts to find one without a sleeve length. Shirts are not organized separately by sleeve length as in most stores. Simply put, they made it too difficult to shop in a hurry so I left, and I'll probably never return.

They have a whole array of goods to include rugs ,Automotive ,and pet aisle .. the place looks a little bit disorganized, but this may be the fault of the customers moving things and dropping things off that isn't the proper area . sometimes it's hard to find the products that were advertised in the flyer because they have sold out .so if you're gonna go to Ollie's go as soon as the flyer comes out.

This certainly isn't a "flea" market because there is beautiful furniture in here--many in individual consignment booths; others have permanent set ups. They also conduct auctions, one regular one is the first Thursday of every month; and from time to time, they conduct specialty auctions selling jewelry and other collectibles. They have specific estate auctions too. Come check out this nicely adorned, air conditioned marketplace, where you are free to browse without being harassed or watched; however, staff is here to answer your questions.

One thing you'll notice as you walk about the store is that most of the signage is written crudely by hand. The other sign they are famous for is "when it's gone it's gone". The store is filled with brand name and not so brand-name products at cheap prices. They have a very large book selection, lots of bedding, garden items, decor, cards, snacks, grills, pet, kitchen appliances and more. After looking at some reviews, I do agree, majority of the clothes are leaning more towards the younger audience, but it makes sense because it is located in a college town. The clothes I see in Dallas are more diverse, but leaning more towards the mature side. So, the clothes they have do depend on the location of the Uptown. For this particular location, I think they're pretty good on having clothes that are trendy and up-to-date for college students. The most recent visit I had was very pleasant. They were doing an event for an anniversary and I was welcomed with a coupon at the door which was nice! I ended up a few things including a pair of Aerie Crossover Flowy Shorts for such an amazing price that I couldn't even find looking through Depop and Poshmark. After checking out, I was given a swag bag that had some cute pieces in there and I left with a cookie lol. I love and miss San Marcos so much! This place is also one of the reasons why I enjoy coming back.
