Food poisoning Nope nope nope. Bought some soup yesterday Feb 21 from the soup station around 5pm. The menudo, never again. This morning on the 22 it started around 1am where I'm having constant watery you know what. I thought I would feel better by the time work started at 330 am but lasted only 15 mins work before I clocked out. I just feel soooo bad. I feel weak, I could be laying down and move slightly and boom more watery you know what. It's now 10:41 and it's still nonstop. Never again will I buy any soup from there read more

My husband was accused of stealing from the outside garden area. My husband had paid inside for the items he had purchased. The police officer stated that upper management had called it in. My husband is very well known in town and apparently someone mentioned who he was. The police officer came to our HOUSE asking me where my husband was because he was captured on camera stealing. I called my husband, my husband showed the police officer his receipt where he had paid. Police officer took a photo of receipt and went back to show it to the manager. They investigated and found the video of my husband paying the cashier for the items he had purchased. After all was said and done, not the manager or anyone else even offer or give my husband an apology for what they did. To this day when my husband goes to this HEB, that same manager still watches him like he's stealing. I can't believe that this manager is still at this HEB after all this...guess he wasn't reprimanded and got away with it. Definitely not the way to handle things HEB! read more

What happened to the tres leches cake? Did yall change it? The last 2 times I got the slice cake, it didn't have the milk on the bottom and the whip cream icing was less and the fruit is smaller. Overpriced, under whelming choices - their own brand of products are full of salt and sugar it makes them inedible. Fresh produce is horrendous - mushy avocados, mushy berries, flavorless strawberries, lettuce that's already browning, potatoes that are soft and rotting. The rotisserie chickens used to be great - now they are flavorless. They don't have the whole rotisserie chicken in the Italian herb flavor anymore- you can only get that in the thighs and wings - why???? Makes no damned sense to me. Tres leches cake........barely any cream on top! A slight smattering is all you get! And flies! Flies inside the donut case! YUK! They will also overcharge you because someone didn't do their job correctly in putting barcode stickers on cat collars - case in point on 9/28 I purchased 5 of the Pet Attire breakaway cat collars - NOT the Coastal Sassy Cat collars - yet my receipt shows they charged me for 3 of the more expensive Sassy Cat collars and 2 of the Pet Attire - I have used one collar and still have 4 so I can prove they messed up here! I have to ask -what the hell do we pay for in this store? More new stores? Yes that's it because they sure are not losing any profits at all!! When a town/state allows a particular store to have the monopoly it affects all of us and leaves us no choice at all! That's just not acceptable. I have managed Grocery stores up & down the Or coast. After moving to Texas and shopping at the HEB markets in New Braunfels and Seguin TX I have found this chain to be the BEST! The customer Service is beyond polite, knowable and always smiles and very helpful. Even the newest employees that are hired to help bag groceries are the best! In Seguin which is where we purchased our home, our HEB is wonderful. This store always clean and freshly stocked including other attributes I mentioned earlier. I just want to say that the management at H-E-B Seguin Texas is truly professional and did me a wonderful good deed I was shopping got about $35 worth of groceries and then was distracted in the parking lot and left and when I got home I realized that I had not put my groceries in my car I called and it was helped immediately a young lady went out and checked the parking lot. Well someone had taken my groceries. I talked to the manager of Seguin H-E-B, and the gentleman replaced my groceries as I still had the receipt. This is a classy move, and Customer Service five stars aren't enough to rate my opinion of how good the management at the store was to me as a customer who he did not know. I LOVE OUR NEW H.E.B. we are just moving to this area, and are finding our way around. Have been shopping here and loving the store and staff, super friendly. We had a sudden death on Christmas eve, I ran into HEB spoke with the DELI MGR on Friday asking how long would it take to get a deli tray made up. Terrible curbside service they canceled my order without even telling me the little boy who lied and said he was a manager ISSIAH told me Bailey had canceled my order because the e commerce department couldn't verify my card but i Found out when I called them their department isn't even open on the weekend.I think it was to big of an order for them to handle.I later caught him in a lie and he hung up on me twice.Then I called and talked to James he told me I was receive a call back he never did.This store is ridiculous and love to play games so if you love to waste time on ignorant people who are rude ,lie,a waste of time and are to lazy to deliver your food then go with these people Here everything is WORSE! read more

this review is just for curbside orders. it took me 30 minutes to find all the items i wanted this morning before work. i finally paid and put the time i wanted to pick up my order. come to find out, heb switched out real shredded cheese for heb wrapped half cheese and plastic square "singles". i also ordered a digiorno pizza and i got an heb pizza. i am tired of heb trying to cram their brand down my throat!!! i really like some of their prepared food, but i want the choice! the above items are always in stock and they had no reason to switch them out . we don't like heb pizza or cheese. seguin needs a new grocery store to compete with our heb. go over to new braunfels heb and it's a totally different atmosphere, food, and staff. mr. heb, wake up! frustrated. read more

This is a very nice HEB! It's clean, spacious and fully stocked. It's pretty big, almost like a HEB Plus. There is a large BBQ restaurant with its own seating area tucked away from the rest of grocery area. It has the Sushi stand (Sushiya) and the large cooking demonstration area (The Cooking Connection). The produce area is big too. I wish the deli was larger and had more selections. read more

I'm not crazy, shoppers of heb but the music is so loud I can't think. I have earplugs(bought at heb) that are not working one bit. "Oh there's no easy way out". "Oh I wanna dance with somebody". Those are the songs they play ....I'm with my twin flame the male version of myself and very lucky but my reality is so far from the songs they play. Today is May 5, 2020. After living in my small town of Seguin for over five years I have come to the conclusion that I must yelp our local HEB. In times past I have had issues with overly ripe fruit and questionable beef products and they have been corrected. But since, we entered into this corona virus situation local HEB employees for the most part have handled themselves well. There are a few though that have gotten the attitude that they are local jailhouse guards. I am hoping that a regional or possible corporate level management team set in place some sensitivity training and move away from the people pushing mindset that has set in. This is the first of two concerns the second concern is what happened today. I needed to buy a small bag of cat food and I needed to use a small coin pouch of coins. I thought that I would go to customer service and change coin for bills, my intention was not to hold up the register line. When I went to their customer service department I asked Sonja if I could get bills for the change that I had and she said no. And I showed her the pouch which fits in my hand palm and she pointed to a coin machine that would accept the change. I responded that the machine would charge me to accept the coin and she affirmed that she would not change the coins for bills. I went and I got the bag of cat food and I saw to what appeared to be management team members and I asked if I could speak to one and Chelsea instructed the other that she would handle this. I explained to Chelsea what had happened and she said she would stand by her team member because they were not a bank. As a conversation went on I explained to her why I went to the customer service desk first and she said it was okay to pay with coin at the register. I said it didn't make sense and that I would call the corporate and at this point contacted Atty. Gen. of Texas to see if this forced use of the coin machine is appropriate. read more

HEN Seguin has a habit of posting coupons in front of supposed sale items, and when purchased the sale is not allowed. Today I bought a bag of Cranberries. The cashier failed to give me the discount. When I questioned her she stated that although the brand and quantity matched the coupon that there was something in the description that would void the coupon. If this only happened once it would be bad, but it happens regularly with various so called discounts. Today I told the clerk to cancel the cranberries and I would buy them at Walmart. That required a manager's authorization. I just don't need to deal with HEB's games. I went to Walmart Seguin, and had a great experience. I have no plans on returning to HEB although I have shopped there for twenty years. Walmart's remodel is wonderful. So HEB was it worth it screwing me out of $1. read more

Tried to cash in some scratch off tickets while filling up gas and they say you have to go inside. Guess HEB is a horrible store!!

Digital coupons are the worst. When the clerk scanned my bar code for my digital coupons, only 2 of the 9 recorded on my receipt. I should have had $20.00 dollars in coupons and I only received $8.00. I noticed it right away and went to customer service before I even left the store. I was told I needed to call a number to HEB that I was given to get it fixed and that the additional savings would be credited to my debit account. I called, they went over my coupons and receipt and discovered for some reason the digital coupons did not work.....duh. I still don't know why it only took 2 and left off the other 7 coupons. Most of it I would not have purchased unless I had a coupon. Lesson learned. Come to find out they dont credit to your debit account they add the credit to your heb app account. It expires within a few days and now I have to shop for more items to use my credit before it expires. I'm not happy with HEB. Why do they make customers jump through hoops to get .50 cents or a dollar off. Why can't they program a coupon in the register and if a customer buys that product they get the .50 cents off. Why make customers lug paper coupons through the store, only to find out you lost one or two while traveling through the store OR worse use all your battery on your cell phone to clip digital coupons and then the bar code doesn't even give you all of the coupons you clipped. COME ON HEB WISE UP MAKE THINGS EASIER ON YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! This is just unacceptable! read more

We come here every Wednesday to do our grocery shopping. The aisle are kinda small and hard to navigate when there is a lot of people. But we are getting a new HEB! Yay. The workers here are super nice. If you can't find something they go out of their way to help you. They always make sure there check out lines are open and running smoothly. The daily coupons they have are awesome. We always end up saving up to $30 to $50. It's a nice store with nice people. read more

I like going to the heb store it's great! But the car wash is another thing. My wife and I took her truck to get washed used the ultimate wash and very disappointed. Told us to drive forward since we were "DONE" with the wash. Well it wasn't we drove out with suds all over the truck still had to go to the car wash to rinse off her truck! Wouldn't recommend washing any vehicle here. My wife and I will be going to the regular car wash like before! read more

Seeing that three people were told and nobody seem to really care I mentioned it to an associate name JoseHate to give a rating so low but me and my kids wanted donuts, and when we walked up to where the donuts are there were about seven flies and about five nats on top of the donuts. I went to tell the associate in the bakery and she said it was her first day so she didn't know what to do. And then went to the front and told associate who has blonde hair in three years on her badge and she said she would call somebody. Finally a guy named Jerry showed up with 17 years on his badge and all he did was say "We're getting ready to pull these donuts "and just Shooed the flies out. I won't buy minutes later even after I'm done with my purchase and they're still there. That is not possibly healthy. I live in a food desert! We just got a brand new HEB, and since we have had a small population boom, you would think that more variety and better quality food would be in the plans, but no. Our fruits and vegetables are the same, just more of them, our meats and fish are on the cusp of turning when we purchase them, the organic vegetables are a small portion and our food stuffs are not as healthy as what they offer in Some San Antonio HEB's. I guess I was very disappointed in the fact that the remodel was basically set up so that they could bring in clothing and junk that has nothing to do with groceries. I don't want to have to drive to San Antonio or New Braunfels for better quality and variety. I want it at my home store. So until they get there stuff together, I will still go to Groomers for Seafood and Bolner's for meat. I will also frequent the local farmers markets for fresh fruit and vegetables, and get my eggs from our chicken. Back to old school marketing. read more

The employees are great, but the store itself needs a little work. Crowded, aisles are narrow, but still pleasant enough for shopping. More gluten-free options than I was expecting in such a small town (although they always run out of the blueberry waffles!) The prices are pretty run of the mill, nothing alarming or exciting. read more
