Okay, so this was a weird experience…read more I was basically driving in a trance, having left the house at 5:00AM to drop off one of my girls at the Austin airport and then heading to Harlingen. I was on day three of being really sick, and I had gotten very little sleep that night because of all the sinus pain. I was blindly following the GPS and came upon this gas station/convenience store out in the middle of nowhere and decided to pull in at the rear of the place and sleep for a while. I don't even know if the place was open; it was still dark when I got there. I woke up and it was daylight. I needed something to drink, so I pulled around to the front of the place, parked crookedly and shuffled in. I saw they had breakfast tacos and realized I was hungry, too. I picked two random ones, bought them and left. One was brisket, the other was some mixture of eggs, potatoes, beans, bacon, sausage, cheese and whatever else they could think of to throw into it. The brisket didn't look great, so I set it aside and took a bite of the stuffed one. It was really, really good. So, I tried the brisket. Now, I have to say, if I bought a brisket plate and this is what they brought me, I'm not sure how I'd feel about it. But, as a taco (basically, just meat in a flour tortilla), it was absolutely delicious. I will say they were a bit on the pricey side. The two tacos and a 20 oz bottle of Diet Dr. Pepper was over $16. But, both of those tacos rank up there with the best I've had.

There's tons of parking and lots of pumps. I was traveling with my baby for the first time so having space away from everyone while we settled into what we needed to do was perfect. We grabbed the very last pump and no one was near us, which let us take our time. The bathrooms are large and we used a big handicap stall which had a changing table AND sink in it. It would be helpful if they had a sign noting that as it's very much a family stall (not just handicap) Overall a good Buc-ee's and a great stop

I was like, "Um, ok, what's that about?" I got home and looked it up. I found out it was Texan company. Then I decided I wanted to visit the biggest Buc-ee's in the Lone Star State. We landed in San Antonio and rented a car. Thankfully it didn't have a California license plate. We drove to Luling on our way to Austin. We pulled into the Buc-ee's parking lot. We saw the gas prices. Gas in Texas is more affordable than Washington State. Took a photo with the metal critter in front of the entrance then made our way into the store. Spacious, busy. Bathroom was clean. We picked up some brisket sandwiches and some sodas. Food is more affordable in Texas. We also bought some souvenirs to take back home including a red shirt with the beaver.

He picked up my car less than 2 hours later, and towed it all the way to the transmission shop in Houston, right to their door. Then? He dropped me off at my house. Excellent service. I always believed that this USED car lot was different, but I was completely WRONG. First... Just…read moreafter we signed all the papers, we took possession I noticed the tire pressure sensors went wild as soon I drove off the lot. So I took this traverse right back to the used car lot. I had asked them how do I reset the tire sensors? They started looking at everything and that they need to replace the tire sensors. So while I had the traverse in their shop they magically spotted a radiator leak! Wow how convenient! So I guess when they got this thing in they never saw any issues with radiator. So I truly believe that they never really do their due diligence and make sure there's no issues with anything. All they did was clean it and hurry up to sell it. I am kinda thankful that I got a warranty. But here is my other complaint. We'll this is true for most car lot's both new dealerships and used car's. So while we going through getting finance the salesman told us that the finance company requires us to get auto warranty. LIES! Later I talked to another employee they said they were trying to get us a better interest rate! ANOTHER LIE! I did talked to the finance company and they they do not require ANY car warranty! Reduced interest rate! What BS! This used car lot and others are just selling auto warranty is to make MONEY. This used car lot could have just replaced the radiator! But they wanted to make extra CASH! NEVER NEVER AGAIN!

Got here exactly at 8 am and there was already a line and even some people with appointments. Stood…read morein line for 15 min. I was told at first I would only need a patch and tires rotation and the wait should be only 45 min since there was 3 people waiting. An hour and a half later they finally got to my car. Unbeknownst to me the tire that had a nail in it was already patched from when I bought the car at the dealer, I could only assume since I haven't had any issues with this car and it was the first time getting a nail in it. Turns out you can't patch a patched tire so my only option was to buy a new one. Of course they try to sell you two tires at a time at least and the only discounts they offer are on sets of four. Took a total of two hours and 20 minutes to get fully serviced, also ended up purchasing the least expensive tire for my car at $139 after the discount tire warranty (best $14 you'll spend, TRUST ME ON THIS) and taxes ended up walking away spending $201 for one tire + free tire rotation. Overall, the service men were very professional and nice. As I observed how they handled the other customers, I didn't see any issues pop off. What kept me from giving them a better rating was the time estimate I was given versus how much time I actually spent there. I would rather it have been an over estimate which I was told the 45 minutes was an over estimate, but clearly it was not. From a customer standpoint I could've gotten a lot more done in two hours if I was told that's how long my car would've took. Dealing with a tire issue has already stressful and inconvenient so I think discount tire should it train their sales representatives to gauge more accurate wait times to improve the customer experience. We called the night before & the mgr Neil was even willing to fit us in the evening before our scheduled appt when we mentioned being concerned about getting out of our location in the rain the next day but we ultimately didn't want the staff to be waiting for us so we went on Sat. (Later, we found out Neil had told his staff to be on the look out for us!) When we arrived Dallen, Jason, Devon, & Marco worked like a well oiled machine! All 4 of them moved so quickly & efficiently that we were in & out of Discount Tire way faster than we had hoped. Garrett answered some questions for us inside & was kind & helpful. The entire staff went above & beyond! This location is clean & conveniently located right off of I-10. We could tell that Neil manages a business where his employees work well together & are happy. That equals great results! You won't be disappointed if you purchase tires & have your work done here. I waited about a month to post bc I like to make sure everything was done 100% right. We have had absolutely no issues. Our RV pulls so much smoother. We couldn't be happier with our tires or the staff at Discount Tire in Seguin. Thank you Neil & everyone who worked on our RV!
