I called on 6/18 just to see what was going on, and the salesperson who sold us the furniture claimed that Ashley changed the delivery date to 7/25/2020. I then contacted Ashley's distribution center and was advised HomeTrends can send their driver to pick up our furniture and we could have our furniture tomorrow! I contact HomeTrends back with this info and Joann had the audacity, the pure gall, to tell me if we want a refund, we'd have to pay THEM $540 - that's total BS! I'm not someone who rolls over and takes crap. The BBB, The NC Attorney General's office and the Civil Courts in my town will be hearing from me.

It's a unique concept where people/vendors are actually given small sections of the store where they can display their wares. There was everything from garage sale items to 3D printed stuff to brand new toys still in the box. There were clothes and furniture, really anything you can think of. Where we live there are a few consignment/thrift stores who utilize this same concept and I think it's a great way to help small businesses start out and/or to help people in the community get their products out there. We only stayed about 5 minutes or so because we were already behind, but if you love to shop or you're looking for a unique item or gift to buy in person, this spot should definitely be on your list.

She was yelling at everyone with a rude attitude, and if anyone didn't understand that the line started behind some barricade (because there were NO SIGNS anywhere, just some random rope and only one person browsing kids clothes) she copped an attitude yelling at me saying I wasn't going to skip the line and needed to go to the back... uhhh ok you could just let me know "excuse me? Sorry the line for self checkout is included with this person waiting" or something kind. I worked for Target in another county for YEARS and know dang well she was trained better than that. This isn't Black Friday, it's 4:15 pm on a Tuesday... maybe have more than 2 cashiers on shift when you know the counters need to be wiped down after every checkout.
