The store itself is great. I love Trader Joe's for its high quality store brand products and fresh produce. Like most locations, it is on the smaller side, but they really make the most of every inch of space. Their flowers are always my favorite thing to grab. They offer some pre-made bouquets, but I especially love the wide assortment of individual flowers so you can build your own arrangement. There is always a great variety of flowers and greenery, which I really appreciate. While I cannot shop here for all my household needs, there are definitely staple items I come back for, and I usually end up finding something new to try each visit. The staff are friendly, and they do a great job keeping registers open to handle the steady flow of customers, which is nice.

They only had 2 people working and 1 person on the register as the other employee was busy filling a balloon order of like 20 balloons. There was a person buying like 50 gift cards and trying to buy each one separately for some reason but they were having issues/didn't know how to ring it up correctly, I'm not sure so that backed up the line so bad the line went all the way down an aisle. People were yelling from the back, begging to open a second lane. Eventually the employee making the balloons finished and opened a second lane but we were standing there waiting for forever.

We would definitely come back here when we are back in Pompano Beach. There is a large parking lot with plenty of parking, including wheelchair accessiblability.

But wait, it gets better. I came across Taxco by Milestone, a UAE fragrance that's a dupe for YSL Tuxedo. YOOOOOO, it smells incredible and lasted all day. Don't sleep on those UAE scents. Marshall's really comes through with the hidden fragrance gems. And just when I thought I was done, BOOM, I spotted a pair of Air Force 1s! Total surprise and definitely a first for me at Marshall's. And at a great price. The store was clean, the staff was friendly, and the deals were dealing. You already know I'll be back!

The concept is that you grab a bag and sift through cardboard boxes of stuff and fill up your bag. Depending on the day you come, the prices change. Monday's price is $3; on Tuesdays it's $2 for each item in the box, etc... down to a 25 cents "blowout" on Thursday morning... until they restock and start the week again. I don't know if the people who came over the weekend and paid $6 an item got all the bargains, but we didn't see even one thing that we considered buying. It was just big cardboard boxes lined up and very awkward to reach into that had piles of the same junk in it -- items you'd find left over from a sale in a flea market. Around the perimeter were drug store and grocery items marked at supposedly 50 percent off the retail price. Again nothing that was of any interest to us. And that's saying a lot when I can't find at least one thing to spend my money on. I'm glad I came -- so I won't feel like I've missed out on anything. Now I know.

It felt like rock, paper, scissors. Hmmm .... They proudly offer they are a Target Store liquidator now. Interesting as at least 1/2 the store did not look like regular Target merchandise. The pricing now is full retail and then a discount of 35% off. Todays special was slightly higher. They also warned that credit card would add a 3% charge. (Being in financials, they should check processor contract as Visa/MC do not commonly allow this) It was not what we wanted and left. Not knocking their decision to go this route, but doubt we would return. The original business design seemed to offer more possibilities and just needed some better execution. We do wish them luck ....

The Asian gentleman who took my order instead of grabbing the last visible sub bread on the shelf took his time go inside and grab the oldest loaf of bread he could find to make my sub. I almost questioned but who in the world could imagine that he would take the time to go inside the deli area to grab old still bread instead of using the one on the shelf!!! Thanks for ruining my dinner after a long day! Sub was nasty.
