Although we did not purchase any ofthe boxed items, we did buy Celsius drinks for a one dollar apiece. We will definitely return.

It's also jammed with household goods of every sort and things from canned food, spices and herbs to pillows and hair brushes. The aisles are narrow and can be somewhat difficult to navigate especially if you encounter the typical situation of a confused women with five kids and a shopping cart. I stopped in to get some bands to hold my ponytail hair and was delighted to find the exact same as sold at Walgreen for $3.95 at Dollar General for $1.00. I also picked up paper plates, plastic cups and plastic eating utensils for a picnic which were price better here than at Publix, and some Chicken Seasoning. A lot of the items have gotten somewhat out of order by customers picking them over so it takes some time to do shopping, but the prices are right and I found it generally better than other Dollar General stores with a much friendlier staff.

We were having a hard time finding what we were looking for at Lowe's and Home Depot so we went into the Big Lots Hollywood location and were pleasantly surprised in their patio selection. We found the chair we liked, but they only had one in stock. So we went on the Big Lots website and found the chairs and table that we loved and saw that it was in stock in the Ft. Lauderdale SR 84 location. So we placed the order and selected the in store pick up option. About 30 minutes later, I received an email saying the order was ready for pick up. We went the following day, the store was very large, right off SR 84 (in the Winn Dixie shopping center), and we were greeted by several employees in the store. They had a very large indoor and outdoor furniture selection. I would highly recommend checking out this location if you need outdoor patio furniture. They have a wide variety of patio furniture (whether you need higher end patio furniture, or something more economical like we purchased). We went to the front register to pick up the order, they started getting a long line and they promptly called for back up and were greeted by a nice associate who promptly processed our order pick up and even offered to help us load up our car. Overall it was a great experience and will stop back in if I'm in the area.

In the past, I've had much better luck at Marshalls -- even though they are related companies -- but someone suggested I come here to check them out. So I did. I didn't wind up buying what I was looking for here, but I will say at least I had a few possibilities to try on. As mentioned, the store had a good amount of selection of merchandise and everything was neatly arranged and clean. The dressing rooms also were clean and neat. And yes, now I'd come back here, again, in the future.

Although sometimes it's a bit unorganized, there's never a lack of awesome goodies to find. Whether it's candy, phone accessories, t shirts, board games or random knick-knacks, you'll probably end up leaving here spending some money. No matter where you go today it's obvious prices have gone up but they stay true to keeping their products at $5 or less. There's some items that are a little bit more but generally speaking, everything you could want is around $5. Their quality of products are always good for the price also. I love coming here during the holidays because they always have a ton of products themed around the time of year. Halloween & Christmas time are the best! The employees here are solid although I wouldn't go expecting 5 star service. They help out if you ask but they don't go out of their way which isn't something I expect from a store like this. No complaints at all.

The store name is Five Below meaning everything in the store typically cost $5 or less. Not so much anymore. pricing has gone up a little bit and I believe the highest priced item is now $5.55. Most of the dollar items are no longer just $1 but more like $1.25. Which is fine because it's still affordable. There are many locations nationwide. I go mainly because I'm intrigued every time I go. Its unsuspectingly located in a huge warehouse, a short business row. From the front, it is quite nondescript, next to a dental office. Once inside, it can be overwhelming. You can wander around inside for hours discovering items tucked away in nooks and crannies, inspecting goods for missing parts and defects, looking for that "steal deal". Most of the items look like Costco returns and overstock items. Lots of Kirkland around. I got this really cool 2 person Tommy Bahama beach tent that compacts down into a tiny shoulder bag for $15--it scanned $60 on amazon price check, but I had to search through a bunch of them to piece part a complete one to take for myself. Also, some stuff, being a loyal Costco member myself, seemed really over priced for the not-great condition it may have been in. Check expiration dates! Customer service is usually pretty good, too. They get it that its controlled chaos, and they do their best to help you sort through it. In the winter, be prepared to be bulldozed in th aisles like you don't exist by some lovely visitors who, I've witnessed, argue for hours with the cashiers about the clearly posted "no money back, all sales final" policies----waiting in line, you see it on everyone else's faces "it was a dollar, really? Unlike maybe, YOU, I've got to get back to work!" Workers have been awesome for me, though, with exchanges if you talk to them with decent respect and reasonableness. Gee. Fun.
