There's all sorts of gluten free snacks and dry ingredients, that cost significantly more at other retailers. There's a whole section of honey, and it's a pretty nice variety, with a good amount of it being local. They have several kinds of olive oil, plenty of teas and endless other kitchen staples. They also have clothes and shoes. It's great browsing through this store, and finding something new or something you love at a great deal. They always have security at the door who don't allow any large bags inside. There is no restroom in the store. They should really look into providing customers with a restroom, so they don't have to leave to look for one elsewhere. Deals & Steals is a great place to stock up on organic snacks, cereals, almond flower, and more.

You can find fertilizer, home goods, dry foods, knick knacks, plumbing fixtures, you name it. You can find books, indoor and outdoor furniture, hardware, pottery and virtually everything under the sun. We came here after looking at a discount furniture outlet and saw this place. Bargains galore with a smile. We found the people quite friendly and helpful. One of the best bargain places I've been to.

Signs, graphics (right down to the typefaces), taglines (Good Stuff Cheap), and marketing and the approach of the store seem to point to that fact. A lot of the same good and bad features of Building 19 are found here. Material is from distressed suppliers and similar sources, prices are lower than the usual retail, cleanliness is not at a premium, and the store is disorganized. If you can get through that and keep your eye on the bargains, you'll do alright. Don't expect to go here for pampering or for an "experience." Ollie's isn't selling that.

And to make matters worse, after being interested in purchasing a rug, and going outside to take a look at the swatch in daylight, when I came back inside, the salesperson was re-ticketing it to twice the price,!! She said it was ticketed incorrectly! I said "you can't change the price on something I am about to buy!" This was the worst, most unpleasant experience!

Many of the items in the bedding department are still quite expensive. I saw quilts and blankets in the $200-400 range. There are some bargains among the rugs, but they don't deliver from the outlet. A lot of the bedding is in colors that most people aren't looking for in their bedrooms. That being said, I did find some nice pillow shams at a greatly reduced price, but it required some time and searching. It's also somewhat out of they way if you're visiting Lenox or Stockbridge.

They have a wall full of "Slightly Out of Date" over the counter cold remedies and pain killers, cheap greeting cards, cheap Tee Shirts, cheap baseball caps, cheap school supplies, cheap socks and candy and sunglasses, and more varieties of masking tape than I ever knew existed. Organization is a suggestion here, a rough guess that what you think something qualifies as is also what the floor setters of OSJB think that item qualifies as. I came in looking for nothing. I drive by the location easily 3 times a week and finally had some quiet down time to just go browse. That's really the only way to do this unless your shopping list is also vague. There was a lot of shelf stable food items including snacks, coffee, cereal, candy, and more. I didn't recognize too many of the coffee brands but still opted to give Papa Nicholas' hazelnut creme a try. In general I didn't recognize a lot of brand names, so it kinda felt like the discount store for the dollar store discards. Pricing however didn't always reflected that. The household items is definitely where organization got odd; "domestics" was the sign hanging overhead that area and it covered everything from large rugs to women's thongs. Everything! Shoes, office supplies, clothing, toys, planters, fans, etc. Even just a touch more subdivision would go a long way! Also, specifically, the shoes were nasty - some of them had literal mold growing on them, others had clear signs of wear on the sole. These must've been returns then sold off, and it was incredibly off-putting. Ultimately I also ended up finding a bookish spooky season blanket for $10, some cozy wool socks for $4, a pack of chapsticks for $6, and the bag of coffee for $8. The blanket and the socks felt like a steals whereas the chapsticks felt like there weren't any savings, and the coffee was even properly labeled so I ended up being duped by that, but still opting to get it since it was only a few dollars difference. I do wish I could give half stars because this does feel more in line with 2.5 than 3 stars, but I can see why people come back for the price points, especially something that might not get a lot of life out of it like party decor or kids clothing.

Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. I've always referred to them as "big lots, on steroids." The place is huge! They primarily sell manufacturers extras and overstock, and maybe the previous models of things. But, everything is good. Groceries, snacks, clothes, toys, home, and garden, housewares, kitchenware, tools, carpeting even furniture. If you see what you like, buy a little bit extra, because there's a good chance it won't be there the next time you come in. The stock always rotates. That's what makes it fun. It's like a giant treasure hunt. Also, if you sign up for a free "Ollie's army" membership, they will send you information on discounts that you can get off of their already great prices. I am a fan. I wish these guys were in California. Thanks!

But Ollie's, met me there with their ceramic rectangular planting boxes at a fraction of the cost of what Home D.+Lowe's charge. The space is huge. And like their website states, Ollie's is the biggest "retailer of closeout merchandise & excess inventory". Aisles are also filled with no-frills brands. Some products are better than others so do your research while you're here and read. For instance, I saw this unknown sheet set brand and when I noticed the polyester fabric label, I put it back quick. From canned goods, toiletries, garden supplies, outdoor, books, toys, etc, etc, etc, etc, you can rack up. Cheap shopping, that's all it is and I like it- depends what I'm getting. Service was pleasant and the cashier helped me sign up for their loyalty program so I can accrue points and discounts for the future.

We have rarely gone to Guidos in the past however recently I went to see if I could pick up a Berkshire food item to bring as a hostess gift and the person who helped me was incredibly knowledgable and went out of her way to find what I was looking for. The checkout people are so nice and friendly. The only two drawbacks and what is making this a four star rating rather than a five: the prices ($$$$$) and the crowded parking lot.
