It can be easy to blow off a dollar store (more like dollar twenty five), but this store has a reasonable selection and the staff was nice.

Cashiers are very rude and disrespectful. I cannot believe they hire just anybody. 0/10 would not recommend

The service was quick and the staff were friendly. We ordered hotdogs and lobster rolls. We did have to wait a while for the lobster rolls because the last batch was finished, which was fine with us because we knew we were going to get a fresh batch. They pack so much lobster in the roll and the butter on top was delicious. For the hotdogs we got the combo and it came with two, chips and water 5bucks. While worth it. The vibe was chill; felt like a bbq . Would definitely go back on the weekends for this treat!

I like how spacious the Farmingdale location is, even on a weekend. I struggled on the self-checkout line and the staff member was super helpful and even told me the code for my bundle of herbs after they had stepped pretty far away. Super attentive! If you get the app, you get a free ice cream cone for every $100 spent. Easy to reach that if you're buying any meat or seafood here. And a bonus surprise--I found the butter-dipped soft serve available here, so I got to try that.

Arih products are sold exclusively at Walmart. The brand's title is inspired by the Korean name, "Ari," which means "fine" and "beautiful," and the letter "H," which is intended to represent happiness, harmony, and health. As a BTS ARMY fan, trying the ARIH "Modern Noodle" line was an absolute must. The product comes in seven flavors: Black Pepper Tteokbokki, Gochujang Butter, K-Super Spicy Seaweed, Spicy Seaweed, Soy Sauce Butter, Truffle Bulgogi, and Vongole. I placed a pickup order at Walmart Supercenter in Farmingdale, NY by first simply placing an order online and choosing a timeslot for pickup. The next day, I received an e-mail that my curbside pickup was ready and I received a text message with a link to select I'm on my way when I'm heading to Walmart. Once I parked in one of the Curbside Pickup parking spots, I selected I've parked and entered the spot number and color of the vehicle. Within 5 minutes, a Walmart associate brought out my items in Walmart bags. I showed a barcode to the associate and the associate scanned it before handing over my order. I can't wait to try the Black Pepper Tteokbokki, Gochujang Butter, Soy Sauce Butter, Truffle Bulgogi, and Vongole Arih noodles. The online process to place a pickup order was easy to use and the pickup process was seamless on the day of.

Let me state first that I love independent grocery stores…read more My yelp history is full of reviews about them. I love the the ethnic nuisances and private labels. I dig finding hidden gems and hard to find foreign items. All that being said, this place would need a major renovation to barely reach the status of being a "dump" I tried sorting through the piles of shotty produce, looking for a score. I passed the buckets of "salted pig parts" trying not to gag. I skipped past the fish counter, with the employees making comments about "the white guy" The check out was pretty fast and easy, all four cashiers were sitting and texting waiting for a customer. Scored some plantain chips. Never again.

I stop by here on my way home from work sometimes to pick up avocados, yuca, mangoes, and bread. The prices are a bit less expensive than what you'll find at places like H-Mart, King Kullen, but nothing here is organic (at least from what I've seen) so you're better off at Whole foods/Trader Joe's if you're looking for that kind of stuff. This place is pretty hit or miss. Sometimes the produce is fresh, but sometimes the mangoes/avocados are over-ripe. Pretty much a grocery store for the locals in the area... not really a place to go out of your way for.

This most recent visit, I went in 30 minutes before close to grab one item. All but one of the ACOs, self-checkout stations, were open. There were two teens that walked away from it and went to get on line. The employee told them they were closing registers, so they came back to the ACO area where I now was and got in line. As soon as I went, he told me I was cutting them off in a rude tone and called me out in front of them, which I wasn't because they literally walked away. They even said, "He didn't, because we were on the other line and were back and forth ..it's fine." He, like usual, sat there stalking while I checked out and, and of course, didn't wish the customer(s) a good night back.

Worth it for convenience and to run in for a few items but for a large shopping experience, they are more expensive then other supermarkets.
