People were fighting for the spot and you're backing into on coming traffic. There are overflow lots that require a trek to get to the farm. There are TONS of bees. So be aware. One garbage was absolutely overtaken by them. The have a cute little general store where you can buy confectionery treats, honey, drinks and cute little trinkets.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by ample (free) parking and welcoming staff. There is a charge of $20 per person to enter but that includes almost everything inside including seeing animals (which you can feed by buying $5 cones of food), pony rides for children, a hay ride for the whole family, access to a pumpkin patch, face painting, and a clown/balloon show. The pumpkins were plentiful and reasonably priced and there was a great selection of fall and fair treats. We ended up getting Apple cider, Apple cider donuts, seasonal jam, and lemonade. All were fantastic and priced well considering the cover charge. The farm is beautiful and there are so many scenic spaces for family photos. I was also concerned that going to a pumpkin patch on a Saturday in October would be crazy in terms of the number of people there, but the area was spacious and the lines were all relatively short. Definitely check this place out before the season ends. If you can't make it, they have a tree lighting ceremony in the winter that I imagine will be just as great.

I read good things about Nazar recently so was itching to try it. I came on a weekend around…read morebrunch time and there were already a bunch of people who had ordered and were waiting for their food. There seemed to be a decent amount of seating inside and all of the stuff displayed looked very good. I ordered the Adana Kebab ($16) to eat in. With tax included, it came out to $17.33. They had a big pot of tea for customers in the back so I got a cup of that as my beverage and it went pretty well w/ the kebab meal. It seemed like they prepared my food fresh, so it took a little while for it to come out, maybe about 15 min. The food was really good overall. The meal came with 2 kebabs and rice, a piece of bread, and a side salad. All of it was very solid. The bread was good, maybe not mind blowing, but tasty. The side salad seemed freshly prepared and was actually very good and crunchy w/ the red cabbage they put in. The rice was good too. The star of the show was def the kebabs. They were slightly on the smaller side, and I wished I got a little bit more of them w/ the meal. They were really satisfying though and I could've ate another 2 kebabs easy. I really enjoyed my meal (it was the highlight of my day) but my reviews always end in a value analysis, and I think the value was a bit lacking in my experience. I would consider $17.33 to be a lot for what I got. The meal should've been closer to $12 at most in my opinion. I can definitely see why this place is highly rated though, and look forward to trying it again at some point down the line.

Not only is the staff extremely fun and lighthearted, but they know their stuff and they have wonderful recommendations. I particularly love all of their specialty raviolis, their Barada raviolis, and some of the best vodka sauce I've ever had. I was starving so anything would taste good - you would think. Based on previous pictures they seemed to give a generous amount of protein (2-3 pieces stacked of chicken in chicken parm pics). I'm not really a sandwich person because I find it quite rare to be wowed by them besides some really good ones on the must eat sandwich list of nyc. I agree with other reviewers that it's odd how there are no prices listed when previously they had the prices written. That does make the cost subject to change but I would hope that is that not the case on a daily basis. I ordered based on the yelp pictures and went with the chicken parm and big mitch. When we got the order. I was like wow these are big. The two sandwiches were a tad over $28. I was honestly surprised a sandwich cost this much but it does help that they are big and hopefully good. Anything is worth the price as long as it's good. I take a bite of the mitch and gave my partner a look. He's like let me guess, chicken is dry? Replied yeah..and no flavor. Maybe add more pesto and put it on both sides of the sandwich? Not sure. My Italian friend owns a shop in the boroughs and makes killer sandwiches. I don't know their secret for success that they always get long lines everyday but I do know you will never get a dry bland chicken. As for the chicken parm, there was only one layer of chicken! Man I was super disappointed. I specifically ordered this for more chicken. I understand why they put less sauce - so it's not soggy but maybe a tad more sauce would be helpful. This was equally dry and soggy. The cheese was really good and helped. I'm a huge supporter of local business, especially mom and pop shops. I think growing up in the boroughs really spoiled me with food choices. If you're hungry and just care about portion, I guess this is a good option around here. Honestly, I just drive back to the boroughs for food. Probably not economical and gas friendly but anything I intake needs to be worth my calories. I workout way too hard to consume food not up to par. This shop looks very clean and welcoming.
