Great prices for the quality you get. Not the traditional grocery, their bakery is phenomenal

The service was quick and the staff were friendly. We ordered hotdogs and lobster rolls. We did have to wait a while for the lobster rolls because the last batch was finished, which was fine with us because we knew we were going to get a fresh batch. They pack so much lobster in the roll and the butter on top was delicious. For the hotdogs we got the combo and it came with two, chips and water 5bucks. While worth it. The vibe was chill; felt like a bbq . Would definitely go back on the weekends for this treat!

I like how spacious the Farmingdale location is, even on a weekend. I struggled on the self-checkout line and the staff member was super helpful and even told me the code for my bundle of herbs after they had stepped pretty far away. Super attentive! If you get the app, you get a free ice cream cone for every $100 spent. Easy to reach that if you're buying any meat or seafood here. And a bonus surprise--I found the butter-dipped soft serve available here, so I got to try that.

This one, I had to almost squint to find it, was 'Nelson's'. Nelson's. Nice to meet you, Nelson. They are a grocery store with many of the latin foods you may associate with the area. It is a little cramped in the market section, but who cares? They don't. Maybe not super cleanl either. I haven't taken advantage of the grocery yet (other than the mexican cokes!), only perused briefly. I go for the hot foods at the counter. I have never been disappointed here. They have a very diverse assortment of hot foods at all times. There are at least 6 main dishes with sides and soups. They will usually have a couple of chicken dishes with peppered sauces in them, chicharones, great moist yuca, sliced platanos, pork, tripe, and other meats in the juice . And oh! the soups are glorious! Sooo hearty. Salt? yeah, theres friggin' salt in there. So what? They helped me get rid of my cold when I needed it the most. The workers know very little english, but this place makes it very easy to just point. 6 dollars gets you a dish that is enough for 2 meals. Rice, beans and a focal point - whatever you want. They usually have a system in these Latin delis - like rice and beans and one meat for 5, 2 meats for 6, and so on. I saw it once laid out for me in Freeport, but in general I just pay what they ask (not always the same). I love Farmingdale!

During our first visit on a Monday afternoon, the store was fairly busy. When we reached the checkout, the cashier offered no greeting, no communication, and rushed our order through the register. What surprised us most was that there was no assistance with bagging our groceries. Having worked in the supermarket industry myself, I found the lack of customer service and basic courtesy disappointing. We left the store confused about whether customers are expected to bag all of their own groceries, as no one explained the process. Because of that first experience, we assumed this was store policy and were prepared to bag everything ourselves during our second visit. This time, the cashier was somewhat friendlier and at least greeted us, but the checkout process felt very rushed. We had 43 items and were actively bagging our groceries while my wife completed payment. Before we had finished organizing and bagging our purchase, another customer was directed to the checkout lane behind us and began moving our items aside to make room. The customer appeared frustrated, and the situation made us feel rushed and uncomfortable. Once again, there was no assistance from the cashier and no explanation of how customers are expected to manage bagging while the next order is already being processed. What made the experience even more frustrating was observing several employees elsewhere in the store appearing to have free time while customers at the front end were struggling to keep up with the checkout process. If the store's policy is for customers to bag their own groceries, that should be clearly communicated. If it is not the policy, then additional assistance at checkout would greatly improve the customer experience. We understand that retail is challenging and that stores must operate efficiently. However, customer service, communication, and courtesy still matter. Based on our first two visits, the checkout experience felt impersonal, rushed, and unnecessarily stressful. We hope management will review the front-end operation and consider ways to make the checkout process more welcoming and customer-friendly for both new and returning customers.

Arih products are sold exclusively at Walmart. The brand's title is inspired by the Korean name, "Ari," which means "fine" and "beautiful," and the letter "H," which is intended to represent happiness, harmony, and health. I placed a pickup order at Walmart Supercenter in Farmingdale, NY by first simply placing an order online and choosing a timeslot for pickup. The next day, I received an e-mail that my curbside pickup was ready and I received a text message with a link to select I'm on my way when I'm heading to Walmart. Once I parked in one of the Curbside Pickup parking spots, I selected I've parked and entered the spot number and color of the vehicle. There were two teens that walked away from it and went to get on line. The employee told them they were closing registers, so they came back to the ACO area where I now was and got in line. As soon as I went, he told me I was cutting them off in a rude tone and called me out in front of them, which I wasn't because they literally walked away. They even said, "He didn't, because we were on the other line and were back and forth ..it's fine." He, like usual, sat there stalking while I checked out and, and of course, didn't wish the customer(s) a good night back.
