I asked the cashier about the return policy , and she called the Byron, GA, store and talked to the manager, Salem Okasha. The Manager said that I could return furniture if it's new in the box. I opened one box, and parts were missing. I decided to buy the missing parts for that item from another store. On 6/11/26 I took 4 unopened boxes back to Dealz Outlet for a refund, and that is when I was told no refunds. I see now that the manager lied to me; they just wanted to make a big sale. This is a dishonest business, and I want my money back.

I ended up wanting to exchange my shoes for a different size , so I took them in yesterday to exchange them. They didnt have the size I needed which was fine, so I found different shoes, that cost twice as much. I loved them. The problem was I needed help getting them off the shelf, the only one was out was the display one that I tried on but the box was way up high and it was the only one. I found a guy that worked there who was already in the shoe isle. I asked him for help, he was busy chatting on his phone before he even acknowledged me, and when I told him the situation, he told me to "just check behind the boxes lower down that you can reach and maybe you'll find one." Naturally I did that first before asking for help. I told him I did that and only see the 1 display box that had the other shoe in it. He told me " Its probably not even in there." He would not help me. SO I went to the counter and returned my shoes rather than giving them anymore of my money. I told the guy at the counter that I wanted to just return because nobody was willing to help me. All he said was :Sorry bout that." I wont be shopping there again which sucks because I spend alot of money there.

On my first visit, I came in to buy candy and ending up browsing. And during that initial visit, I appreciated how many items this store has to offer and how well it's laid out. The patrons and workers take care of this store. I don't know how long it's been open, but it doesn't have the "tired" feel of most discount stores. And it's neat. Things aren't all piled up on each other in any random area; each section is separate and where you would expect to find something it's usually there. I didn't initially think of Deals as a "dollar store" but there are a lot of things that are $1. If I had kids, I come here every other month or so, give them $10 and let them go crazy. And if I were just starting out and not sure of what I needed, I would come here to buy dinnerware, glasses, etc. The prices are comparable to (and in some cases lower than) Wal-Mart and Target, so why deal with the parking and long check out lines of a bigger store? I don't know if I would have ever gone into this store if I wasn't dealing with a "candy jones" but I'm glad I did. That kind of effort doesn't go unnoticed. That said... a sign out front would help a lot. Once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety. They carry a wide range of home décor, and the prices are very solid. Definitely one of those spots where you can stumble on some real finds without blowing your budget. The only downside of the experience was who I assume is the owner following me around the store, trying to strike up conversation and push me to buy something. It felt less like friendly customer service and more like pressure -- almost like he was begging me to make a purchase, which took away from the browsing experience a bit. Still, I can't deny they have some really good stuff, and the staff member who helped me outside was great. Before we begin I am going to provide a link to the USDA government website explaining what expiration dates really mean, which is completely different then likely 95% of people think. https://www.fsis.usda.gov/food-safety/safe-food-handling-and-preparation/food-safety-basics/food-product-dating Wilson's focuses on purchasing overstock merchandise, stock from companies going out of business, stock from major retail sources who product is about to expire or that has expired. This could be paper/dry goods, vitamins, refrigerated/frozen items, appliances, clothing, and other items I may not have seen. This saves those companies sending it to landfills and wasting it. Wilson's then turns around and sells those items at absolutely incredible low prices. Due to the above they don't have a normal stock of items. The inventory and products will constantly change depending on the lot of goods they buy weekly. Can you say Treasure Hunt each time you visit! Dont let the outside of the building or its simplicity fool you. There are deals in here you will absolutely never, ever find in a regular store you normally shop at. Wilson's is in a location away from major retailing centers. The outside/inside of the building, signage, and parking areas could use a little updating. All of the employees I encountered were very helpful and busy. The inside is divided into two sections. The back area has the most dry goods, restaurant supply items and part of a freezer section. The front portion of the store has a couple refrigerated sections, another freezer section and some more dry goods. One thing to me which was of a potential concern was the freezer section some of the items we partially frozen and not fully frozen. Now this could be from it not freezing properly or it could be due to the product not being transported properly. The items that I did encounter like this weren't of a critical nature that it would have impacted quality though. Quite a bit of what I encountered was larger restaurant size goods or food size cans. Some was hotel overstock food. Examples of what I found. 1 gallon Ken's Honey Mustard, $2.99, 30 count package of brownies with cookie on top 99 cents, 1 gallon frozen chili 2.99, large restaurant size chili con carne 4.99, large tray of milk cake 1.99, large package of diced onions 99 cents, 22lbs of frozen chocolate chip cookie dough 4.99 large package of instant potatoes 99 cents, market street package of beef stew 1.99, and so on. They had much much more than I mentioned, but you will just have to get there and check out this little hidden gem of value. The sign out front does say to bring your own bags and boxes, just an FYI. They do have shopping carts inside. Pro-Tip: I brought my very large ice chest to make sure all my cold items stayed at the right temperature. I filled up a 119qt ice chest. The whole shopping cart stacked very high ended up being only $123.79. Try spending that low of an amount at your grocery store for a whole cart full of items...
