I often find myself there on my way home from work for essentials but also some amazing deals. They have great customer service and specials to keep up with the larger chains. For example, their 5 fo $19.99 deal. Selected meat and frozen items, mostly well over the $4 mark individually, can be mixed and matched and as long as you buy 5, the cost collectively is $19.99. It usually means I get at least one of the items for free. The selection changes daily but I've purchased steaks, burgers, ground meat and any number of frozen items (pizza, fries, burritos) to stock up cheaply. They also have special two day deals on Thursdays and Fridays that are often unbeatable. And let's not forget Wacky Wednesdays! They may not have the longer hours or wide selection on specialty food items that the larger stores do, but they more than make up for it with their hometown feel.

When we placed the order, we specifically asked if the employee could slice one piece first so that my blind mother could feel and determine whether it was thin enough. The employee, a man wearing a face and neck mask known as a gaiter did not acknowledge our request and immediately began slicing. While he was slicing, I politely said, "Sir, I just want to make sure you're slicing it thin." His response was, "It's thin," in a very dismissive and abrasive manner. After he placed the cheese on the scale, we explained that we would like it sliced thinner. He took the cheese back and sliced it again, but did so with a great deal of attitude. The entire interaction was uncomfortable and unnecessary. On the second order he sliced one piece and allowed my blind mother to feel it and confirm that it was thin enough. Had he simply followed our request with the first cheese, there would have been no need to slice it again or have an unpleasant interaction. We understand that working in a busy grocery store can be demanding, and we are not expecting special treatment. However, customers should be treated with basic courtesy and respect. We are choosing to spend our hard-earned money at your store, and while the quality of the food is important, the quality of customer service matters as well. I hope this interaction can be addressed with the employee so that other customers do not experience the same kind of treatment. We would appreciate knowing that this concern has been taken seriously. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

They have aisles for school and work supplies, medicine, body care products, storage and cleaning supplies. This was the first place i discovered Awesome which is a cleaning solution that literally can remove anything. My dad swears by it!! In addition to all the great aisles and categories of items, its amazing that everything is only $1 or cheaper. I went in today looking for poster board almost positive i wouldn't find it but there it was!! and only $.69 a sheet. I went to party city and they were charging $1.50 a sheet. I guess its a good thing i only bought 2 from party city. I know next time to check the Tree first before I choose anywhere else. Unfortunately, this specific Aldi is currently plagued by the same problem affecting other locations: the great cart shortage of 2022. As the nickname suggests, certain Aldi locations have a minimal number of carts available to shoppers. I don't quite understand why this happening - I do know that as a result, shoppers have two options. You can form a line at the door, waiting for one of the small handful of carts to be available. Or you can grab some empty packaging and use that as a tiny, 100% handheld cart. I opted for the second during my visit. Fortunately, in my case, I could easily carry and fit the basic groceries I needed in a single cardboard carton. While the cart shortage was a nuisance, all the normal positive things I associate with Aldi still applied. The store doesn't sell every specialty item you might want, but all the basics are available, and all are reasonably priced. The staff are also super nice and were working hard to keep lines moving, as well as helping those of us without carts to re-pack our items after checking out. If you take one thing away from my review, it's this: keep the cart issues in mind if you have a long grocery list. I only needed a few items during my most recent visit, but if I needed more than I could fit into an old packaging box, waiting for a cart would certainly have held me up. So plan accordingly during these weird times!

The final straw was when an employee literally lectured me that I had to be in the 2 spaces provided in order to receive my groceries. I was in an adjacent space and they had my car make, model, and color. I had to hassle to get my groceries. The employee was devoid of customer service. I have no doubt that there will be further trouble with that particular employee; he's a bad hire and poorly trained. When I receive my vegetables most of the instacart employees do not put them in small plastic bags. My lettuce, cabbage, and other vegetables are tossed into the big bag uncovered. This store has forgotten that the customer comes first.

When I called the store their solution was to save my receipt and when I go back and pull into their tore up mud and gravel infested parking lot I will get back what they stole from me after playing detective when I got home. I should have to play detective, take time to call the store about being ripped off then have to go back on my time with my fuel just to get back what I caught them stealing from me. They knew they were over charging customers because when I called about the office told me they knew it was going on. They were very rude on the phone, told me to have a good day as they hung up the phone on me. I've had several incidents with this market overcharging/ ripping off their customers and not caring that they are doing it once you catch them. For many years, I have shopped at this particular Costco in Robinson Township. The store always has full stocked, well organized, and clean shelves and racks. The available products are name brands as well as Costco's own store brand. I usually stock up on some groceries (meats, fishes, fruits, vegetables, and drink mixes), household products (dish detergent, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, and contact solution), pet supplies (treats and dog pads), and gift cards. The cashiers perform their jobs well. I just have to remember to bring my large totes from home, because Costco does not provide bags.
