Regrettably I don't shop the same as many " average people " , because I don't cook . But just getting my basics - BACON ! Though I've always noticed this store to SUDDENLY have discounts and you're prone to run into items you'll NEVER find anywhere else !!!

The store also has a weekly sales flyer and several "store brand" products. It has a butcher shop, deli, bakery, and a few check-out aisles staffed by real people. I did not see self-checkout lanes or any "Games of Skill," unless you count the claw machine which was filled with plush toys. There's a physical community bulletin board in the lobby, and plenty of parking in the lot outside. The store was clean, and the employees were polite.

Prices are average. My husband and I occasionally visit this store to do our weekly grocery shopping. In the past, I liked the quality of the seafood, vegetables, fruits, and risotto. Most recently, we purchased just a couple of things that we needed, pancake mix and maple syrup. We used the self-checkout and had no problems with the machines. This Fresh Thyme is not our most frequently visited or favorite grocery store, but I do like it and recommend it for occasional shopping.

I paid close attention to the prices. The prices overall seemed reasonable, although I have seen lower prices for some products such as sodas at some other retailers. As for the employees' service, perhaps they could more frequently greet customers.

The store contained the usual departments--fruits, vegetables, baked goods, deli meats and cheeses, butcher meats, seafoods, canned and boxed foods, frozen foods, dairy, beverages, pet foods, home goods, cleaning products, etcetera. The store also sold lottery tickets and surprisingly had slot machines. This was probably our first-ever time shopping at a Sprankle's, so I paid attention to the prices and compared them to other grocery stores' prices. We thought that the blackberries, boxes of canned sodas, and individual cans of wet cat foods were priced too high. Some products had stickers that said "Reduced for Quick Sale" but did not mention the new price. I also paid attention to the quality of the foods. I noticed grapes that were moldy. Nonetheless, we did find many foods to buy: apples, bananas, green beans, potatoes, mushrooms, onion, turkey, potato chips, popcorn, drink mix, etcetera. The cashier asked us if we were members of the rewards program and if we wanted to join, and we said no to both. (We do not live nearby.) She did a very good job of scanning our foods, charging our credit card, and thanking us. Sprankle's also offers a Rewards program, home delivery, catering, and group fundraising, but I have never used them.

The store is also sort of depressing in a way that it's hard to explain without being there yourself. That said, I only knocked off one star for that because the rest of the items they carry (dry goods, snacks, frozen, and a small selection of prepared foods) were well stocked, VERY reasonably priced, and the household items they have (it's understandably "hit and miss" with what they will have in stock at any given time) are crazy inexpensive and amazing deals. They had a huge flip top/step on Kitchen trash bin which you'd normally pay $70 to $120 for (based on my research and shopping around) for $19.99!!!! I'm sad to say I didn't grab one at the time but planned to go back the following day when I have more space in my car. Sadly they were completely sold out when I went back (it was my own fault!). All that to say, as long as you know what to expect at Aldi and what kind of things you should shop for there, this is a great place to shop

I've been going to Safrans since I was wet in the third grade. It's a great market. They have everything i need and I know all the workers by their first names. They're kind they're considerate they will go out of your way to help you. I remember one time they had hired a new person. It was a younger person, but they were not very kind. That person didn't last verylong. Safran's has a great way of hiring people that are really kind human beings and they stay with the company for a long time which I love and tells me that the management is fabulous which they are!!

They also make meal preparation and weekday snacking easier. They also have good pre made meals for lunch or dinner that are very good and make life much easier. We really enjoy the enchiladas. They're so good. The taco meals are also very good and make life so much easier during the week when I am too busy at work to make anything for lunch. They also have a really good health and beauty section where you can get anything you need. It's nice to get regular medicine, daily essentials and things like protein shakes for a healthy and easy breakfast. They also have nice clothes and good deals. I have gotten some nice brands like Lucky, Rafaella, Gap, Addidas, Lands End, etc.
