I sent her a picture of my sweatshirt and she knew which one it was and she checked her warehouse and her store and found the sweatshirt I wanted. I live in Connecticut and she had it shipped to me. That owner ( Cara) of Your Store Clothing was so very customer service oriented and truly helped me. Every coastal town has the obligatory shop(s) filled with all things beachy - shells, mermaids, sea…read moreturtles, starfish, signs with slogans, lighthouses - but few rise above the level of cheap & tacky. Shorelines NW manages to be a touristy shop while providing a much better customer experience. The store is very large and well lit, the aisles are wide so you can wander and linger without feeling like you are stuck in an elevator with tons of people. Items are organized so if you aren't interested in children's toys you don't even have to walk to that area of the store. Interested in shells? Against the side wall are bins filled with shells of various shapes, types and colors. There is plenty of room to take it all in and make your selections. My grandmother always collected small shells and made jewelry with them so I spent a lot of time in this area and was happy to have the section all to myself! Of course they have the obligatory tie-dye which somehow has become synonymous with the beach, but their offerings were a step above other tie dye sweatshirts I've seen. The light blue & white was particularly nice, subtle, not too in your face. Mermaids and the beach also go hand & hand and at Shoreline, there are Mermaids of every skin tone and hair color so little girls can see themselves. Well done! They have a nice selection of affordable fashion jewelry, some in sterling, and of course many feature shells, sand dollars, flip-flops and other beachy items. Even though I'm not a tourist, I enjoy walking through the shop and looking at all of the offerings, often making a purchase.

That's what they sell at The Man Store. Would you like a puzzle or a kite? Maybe a 1955 Chevy replica toy car? I'm not sure what most men like to buy but this store seems more like a place to get gifts for someone younger in your life than a man store. I was thinking it would have tools or hunting equipment but that's my opinion and I also don't work at The Man Store. We went to report it to the manager, who wouldn't make eye contact with us, and did not believe us. Just said "20, huh? Hmm." We told him we just wanted to inform him, and maybe he could watch surveillance, but we were dismissed. The building has been here a long time, so it looks a little old fashioned and maybe a bit run down from the outside so it looks like it could be miss. There's a store or two that have some great sweatshirts and other souvenir items, though it really does have a vast selection of clothing. Another store has some clothing as well, and toys and goodies. There's one store that's truly a toy store. And there's an arcade in there, I think. But the carousel! It's huge and beautiful and cool. All but a couple of the animals move and there's a bench or two for those who aren't about the bobbing animals. My daughter had never been on a carousel before and she loved it. As soon as the carousel stopped she started saying and signing "more" so we immediately went on another spin on the merry go round. She later went on it again with my sister. The cost for the carousel is $5 per ride as of July 2025.

We stopped by the Seaside Factory Outlets because they were right on the way home, nice and convenient! This outlet mall is definitely smaller than others I've seen in Oregon, but it served its purpose for me as I had my eyes set on a few stores, and a few stores only - Carter's, Bath & Body Works, and Nike. What can I say, I'm basic. We ended up not checking out Nike because we had our 2 year old with us and the line was HUGE (due to COVID-19). Bath & Body Works was doing an awesome job of getting everybody in and out, providing waters and hand sanitizer, and even had bags already set up for people to place their future purchases inside to just take straight to the register and get rung up! And of course, we spent $100+ at Carter's. Another pleasant surprise at this outlet is the Wine & Beer Haus. Awesome service, great selection, and you can even enjoy a drink inside at the little countertop bar. Highly recommend going in if you've got the time. All in all, worth stopping by if you're nearby.

I…read morewent to the deli counter at 5:15 on a Monday night and ordered an 8 piece mixed for $9.99 and a pound of Jojos. I waited10 minutes to get the Jojos as they were still cooking. The young lady assisting me handed the bags and I noticed that I only received 1/2 pound of Jojos and the chicken was marked $19.99 for 1 pound 5 ounces of Chicken! I got the pricing and spud order corrected (or so I thought) and went home to discover I had only received 6 pieces of chicken! 1 breast, 1 back, 2 scrawny wings and 2 drumsticks! The staff not only couldn't count, she did not know how to identify the pieces as I received a meatless back instead of a breast! I was very disappointed in the lack of meat in this purchase as the back and 2 wings were just breading. Poor food quality from this deli counter and zero training for a new employee! This is a warning that you should check your purchase and pricing before leaving the store! Consider me extremely disappointed in Safeway and wish I had better grocery options for shopping!
