Purchased a screw extractor set same day came home and the bit broke, I called to ask if there was a warranty or anything and I got a "nope, they usually don't break unless you press too hard haha..." and hung up.... Conveniently located 4 blocks down the street, this store has been my go-to for almost 10 years. Shopping here first saves me a 25 mile round trip to the big box store in Warrenton when they have in stock what I need. I have no use for hearing they can have it next Thursday when I need it now! Some of the employees are introverted and not friendly at all while Trevor is always helpful and will take me to what I need. The fastener section can be overwhelming and he helps me navigate through it. While limited in selection, prices for the most part are competitive and Ace quality usually meets my expectations. read more

Decent hardware selection, weirdly aggressive and grouchy cashier. We just stopped in to by a couple of washers for a project. While we were pleased that they had exactly what we needed, the customer interaction was awful. While paying for our items, the cashier wouldn't meet our eye, refused to respond to our friendly greeting, *threw*our change on the counter and slammed our receipt down. While we had a good chuckle in the car after we left, I have to say in my decades of retail work, I never treated a customer like that. I would try other businesses in the future first. read more

It's right on the main drag in Seaside, and one of the only hardware plays in town, or really for miles until you get towards other towns. But I like that small town feel. Case in point: I came in looking for kite string. Classic tourist move, but the dude at the front walked me all the way back to the back and pointed it right out to me. And the fact that they have it is pretty darn amazing, let alone that they would walk me all the way there. Kudos! There's plenty of parking out front just for ACE, and in this part of town that's a good thing. It can be hard to parallel park otherwise. If you want hardware, kite string, or cheaper firewood than the grocery store, this is your top stop. read more

You can always find about 1/2 of what you are looking for. Pay about 1/2 more than anyplace else. But, then, they are only 1/2 an Ace Hardware. No Ace rewards or anything else that you would expect from a real Ace Harware. And NOPE..no veteran or military discount. Pretty nice guys tho read more

The older gentleman that works there was extra rude to me and my girlfriend due to me parking in the parking spot and being "too close" to the items they are selling; We DID park correctly and didn't drive over the parking stop barrier they have in parking spots. Keep your stuff further away from parking so then you don't go around blaming people for parking "too close" lol. We visited from Washington, good vibes (kidding) at this Ace Hardware. I keep forgetting that I need to never have them make keys for me. Third time I've had them make me keys that DO NOT WORK!!!! However, service is great, store is clean. I will try and remind myself to NOT get keys made there. read more

Recent visit resulted in the best service and caring response to my needs, that I have experienced in a long time. The prices were below larger stores, and the small town feeling of being acknowledged and appreciated can not be found elsewhere. Today I went in to return a $15.99 item I purchased yesterday, Saturday. The package was unopened, but I had misplaced the register receipt. When I asked for a refund the clerk said" how do I know that you paid, the receipt tells me how you paid." I told him that was BS and to keep the item, and the money. I'm a 69 year old Veteran, and never in my life have I been accused of theft. I will never again enter an Ace Hardware store. I've purchased many items there in the past, but no more. I will tell everyone I know. This was a real wake up call. BEWARE!!! read more

I love my ACE HARDWARE on Evergreen Way in Everett. They greet you as soon as you enter & ask if you're looking for something specific. They'll take you right to whatever you're looking for. They're very knowledgeable ; & I so prefer going there compared to the huge chain hardware store. It's like hometown good customer service!! read more

Fantastic hardware store. We were looking for a shovel to use at the beach and Jim came over to say "oh, you don't need that expensive of a shovel" when he saw us looking at a $30 shovel. He said he had better shovels for what we needed, and much cheaper. When he saw there were none on the shelf, he went in back and came out with 2 shovels- both $10! We bought one of those and left very happy. he also informed us of local regulations regarding digging on the beach. he also said "Hey, I want your business, but I don't want to sell you something you don't need." Very friendly and very helpful place to shop. They also have great sales. I have to say though, after reading the review by Michael Clark, that anyone expecting a refund from any store without proof of purchase is being ridiculous. And being a vet does not make a difference. Michael complains and says (in a yellow pages review) that he'll never shop at any ACE again because he can't get his $15.99 refund. I guess he doesn't realize or care that most ACE hardware stores are "mom & pop" shops, owned by local individuals. They are not all owned by the same person or company. And I guess being a vet means he can blame everyone for one problem he had, caused by his own mistake (loosing his receipt). And he says he plans on bad mouthing the store to everyone in town. Well, Mike, all that will get you is less friends, because with your attitude they will know you're just a whiner. He also states, in the yellow pages review, that he only moved to the area 3 months before, but here he states he has "purchased many items there in the past", as if shopping there for three months should give him some kind of cache. Not sure why he thinks he should be treated different than everyone else. If you don't have your receipt and the clerk does not remember you (you can't expect them to), then you don't get a refund. Maybe next time, Mike, you'll make sure you hold onto your receipt. read more
