Long Beach has a kite festival every summer and this shop is a great a place to buy a kite of your own. They have funny kites (flying cows) and speedy racer kites. Their prices are reasonable and they will meet all of your kite flying needs. The beach can get pretty windy and a kite makes it extra fun. Also if you bring a stunt or racer kite of your own to the beach you can always buy any replacement parts or strings here. The part that bothered me is all the fake cards they sell. They had an entire shelf of fake singles. They are Chinese counterfeit cards. I see this stuff at card shows and eBay, but not at a shop. To the untrained eye, they look like real cards. Parents be warned. Customer service is meh. The workers were ripping packs which seems an odd thing to do when you have customers in the store. I've had such a positive experience every time I've been here! They recently (June 2024) added some fun tracks in the back for customers to use! You can also rent the cars to use back there if you don't have your own. A suspended obstacle course, a drift track and a couple other tracks. If you are into rc cars, or have someone in the family who is, this is definitely a place for you to try out!

I got a call that my order was in, however that's what they said. I asked where and what as I was a little confused who was calling and what they were talking about. The gentleman then proceeded to ask me why I didn't buy it from the hobby shop where it was shipped too, I said look I bought what my husbands friend sent me that he wanted and was on sale for Black Friday. That's it. I went in today to pick up my order and my experience totally changed. Greg the owner and so had a wonderful conversation and Greg does have a deep voice and can easily be taken wrong, and I have a TBI and definitely can take things wrong. I left the place and will definitely be back, my draft before posting said I never would. I will order directly through him next time or just go in the store as they don't have a benefit or compensation at all from the Hobby place I ordered from yet it let's you ship to a small business and that doesn't make sense to me and I won't do it again but I will definitely go in and shop small and local next time my husband needs anything from the hobby store.
