I just want to say, they are off of 620, so you think it would be easy to find. But it's a little bit of a maze. It's almost like you're going to the hotel that is there, but then swing around to the back of the hotel. Once you find it, you'll know the next time. It's a little confusing. The parking lot right in front is somewhat small. But there is some parking to the side of the building before you drive to the front of the building. They also have handicap parking spots available too. I did take a video of the parking lot. As you enter, to the left is women's clothing. On the right is beautiful dish ware sets. Towards the back they have hand bags, and kitchen ware. In the back right corner is books and in the middle on the right is kids clothing and men's. They do have a lot of jewelry in the middle, and that's where the cashiers are to check out customers. Places like this seem like they move inventory pretty quickly. So if you see something, buy it up. Might not be there the next time. I bet they get a lot of new inventory often. (Although I don't know for sure) Racks are pretty organized by size. So it makes it easy to go through. I did see some high end brand names. I'm glad I was able to check them out. I think it's geared towards older customers. Not exactly what I would be looking for. But now I know.

After looking at some reviews, I do agree, majority of the clothes are leaning more towards the younger audience, but it makes sense because it is located in a college town. The clothes I see in Dallas are more diverse, but leaning more towards the mature side. So, the clothes they have do depend on the location of the Uptown. For this particular location, I think they're pretty good on having clothes that are trendy and up-to-date for college students. The most recent visit I had was very pleasant. They were doing an event for an anniversary and I was welcomed with a coupon at the door which was nice! I ended up a few things including a pair of Aerie Crossover Flowy Shorts for such an amazing price that I couldn't even find looking through Depop and Poshmark. After checking out, I was given a swag bag that had some cute pieces in there and I left with a cookie lol. I love and miss San Marcos so much! This place is also one of the reasons why I enjoy coming back. I remember thrifting in SanMo wasn't always the best specifically for me, but I think this place is guaranteed to have the items you're looking for. It's dog friendly, and they even have treats for your pet up front at the checkout stand. They have regular sales, and their prices are competitive on bird seed, which has gotten quite expensive everywhere. Some friends of mine were visiting from out of state and from east Texas, and they specifically asked to go there. They found items they loved and bought them, and we had a good time shopping together there. I especially enjoy this time of year when they have baby chicks. I haven't bought dog food here, but they have a huge selection, so I'll probably check it out the next time I visit.
