I live in Dripping Springs, and this is one of my favorite stores. They have beautiful plants and a good selection of products for my obsession with feeding and watching the wild birds in our area. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's dog friendly, and they even have treats for your pet up front at the checkout stand. They have regular sales, and their prices are competitive on bird seed, which has gotten quite expensive everywhere. Some friends of mine were visiting from out of state and from east Texas, and they specifically asked to go there. They found items they loved and bought them, and we had a good time shopping together there. I especially enjoy this time of year when they have baby chicks. I haven't bought dog food here, but they have a huge selection, so I'll probably check it out the next time I visit. read more

I have been a long time customer of this Patti store. And while most of the employees are amazing, shipping and receiving has been a night for the last year, after 5 years of steady orders. They cancel my order after it arrives and put the product on the shelves, so I'm forced to purchase off the shelves if I am lucky to make it there before someone else buys it. After trying repeatedly to work this issue out, I find out my orders are just getting canceled every time. It's sad but I'll be giving my business to my local feed store instead. read more

Some nice folks at this Tractor Supply. Alan was especially helpful. But the clerks at checkout need basic customer service remedial training. Great supply of battery operated hand tools, including a good selection of Porter Cable tools. One warning: Watch the pricing at checkout. We had two items that did not ring up properly (overcharged). The clerk was not very helpful and debated the pricing. We had to walk back, take photos, and show the clerk the photos. Only with photographic evidence of the proper sales price did the clerk reluctantly adjust the price. And no apology for the overcharging either. In one instance, the overcharging was $69.00 (proper price was $200 and the system rang it up at $269.00). I included a photo of the listed price of a Porter Cable impact wrench that rang up at the register for $269. A store should remain open until all guest have been served. Standing outside the door 4-5 minutes before the store closing informing guest NEGATIVELY that the store will be closing soon swinging her fingers around with a "I'm ready to get the f out of here face" is HORRIBLE customer service and the open sign should never be off until it is closing time. I was traveling through from out of town being yelled at pulling up due to needing cat food that I didn't even want to buy due to the negative response I got before even getting out of my vehicle. To the older lady in glasses. Get another job not in customer service. Ridiculous. I had three minutes to buy a bag of cat food I already know what kind and you acted like I hauled a group of ten kids into a Bucees. Disgusting service. read more

Tractor Supply is a fun store with great selection of items to purchase. I ordered Porter Cable cordless tools and went to pickup. I was greeted at the store and my item was brought to me. I then decided to browse a few other items. Alan was the employee that went above and beyond to assist. Many items are under lock and Alan quickly got a key to open the cabinet. Alan is super knowledgeable as well, asked him questions and he stirred us to the right tool to do the job. The ladies at front checkout were not very knowledgeable and had a hard time getting the security device off some tools. The prices were wrong on some tools and they were if it scans the price is right, I said the label on the shelf is different. So we went back to the shelf and the price was $50 less on one item and $20 on another. They quickly made the price adjustment once I showed them the photo. Overall I like this store, but watch the prices. read more

Right here in my neck of the woods; and I've never gotten around to reviewing Tractor Supply. I blame my negligence on the following; I really don't shop here to often. TS carries basically items you would think I would be using on a ranch; but don't. The wife recently had her first trip to TS; got some John Deere toys for the little one. Horse stuff, don't need it. Rabbit supplies; still no. Wrangler apparel, I ain't no cowpoke. Cow feed, now your talking. My dad trades with them on range cubes during the winter months or when there isn't enough grass to support the herd. I've also had good luck with their return policies. I have an automatic gate that seems to need a new battery every nine months or so. They date their batteries when you purchase them and get an even exchange if they don't make it the full year. This morning the gate was acting up due to lack of power so I threw the battery in the car and was in and out the door without any drama. The folks running the place are friendly. Never too busy here in Drippin' denoting the cowbell at the register that displays "Ring me if I'm not here". I guess I'm a fan for the battery replacements and the staff. I just don't expect to shop here for anything else read more

I have been a customer since 2001. This is the go to company for everyone with a yard or acreage, not to mention pets and livestock.

This place is our go to for our dog food, I'm sure we could get it at other places, but our little guy is very sensitive and finding food he can tolerate can be tricky. I also love that we can get other stuff while we are there getting dog food, sometimes I get things I don't need, but eh.. oh well! Quick update - we were sad to learn that Regina has left, but Vince and Mitch are also super helpful. When we wanted to get baby chicks, Vince was super patient with my 1000 questions and helped us get outfitted with everything we needed. Mitch gave us some great advice too. This is a very cool store. They have everything you need when you live in the sticks. I bought a wonderful little rechargeable air compressor that will work for a bike, a riding mower tire, or a car tire for less than $30 and it really saved me when I had a slow leak in my tire that I didn't have time to have fixed. They also have a ton of good fencing equipment, livestock supplies and just lots of "outdoorsy" useful things and tools -- much better than home depot and much friendlier. You will ALWAYS find something you need here. They also have toy animals and toy John Deere tractors and fun stuff like that for the kids. Great store! read more

Its been 2 years since I've had issue with Tractor Supply about the Propane refills. It was likely just that one employee. I still buy feed supplies there. Great selection of most everything. Lots of knick knacks. Tons of additional stock outside and in a back room. read more

If there's anything unusual, or you have a request, forget it. I purchase all of the grain I feed the horses in our two barns, 15 stalls total. Feed is fresh, they bring out a pallet to unload 20 bags (and we like the 5% discount!). Also buy equine wormers, Himalayan rock salt, mineral salt blocks, beet pulp, fly wipe, PDZ, propane tanks and refills on a regular basis. Love the apple licorice too! read more

My fiancé and I drove out to this location after we saw online that they had Demon WP in stock. We're having a cockroach problem and trying to get rid of them yuck! Well apparently they lost the box of the product and didn't have it in stock. And it would take a week to get it back in stock. Pretty confused about how you lose a box of product? Two stars because at least the employees helped us look for it. Pretty disappointed. Next time we'll call and not trust the online inventory check. read more

Great place to shop. They have just about anything you might need around the farm/ranch.The staff is very friendly. They keep inventory on the shelf. Rarely are they out of something they sell. I get my propane cylinders filled at this store. Always friendly quick to run outside and get me filled up. They seem to go the extra mile to hire friendly folks to work in this store. They sell nuts/bolts/washers by the pound. No waiting while the girl has to match the picture of each bolt up in a bar code book like the "Depot" I shop here for most items before I hit the Depot.
