Was looking for a pair of jeans and whatever might catch my eye. I actually found a pair of jeans that I liked around Christmas time. Now they were on clearance. So of course I took that as a sign. Also I spotted a dress that I liked from Christmas too, but it wasn't on sale or clearance, but I got it anyway. The jeans are embroidered all the way down both legs. Really gorgeous blue flowers. The dress is a full length very full with tank top like straps. Very happy with both in style and fit. Customer service was nice. I asked if the dressing room was open, and she said yes. The room I was in was clean and large enough to try on clothes. I did see some other outfits, and dresses that I liked too, but for now, its just going to be the jeans and dress. read more

After going here for past 10+ years, the customer service lately these last couple years have been upright unacceptable and rude. Never have I experienced such bad customer service at a store... This one tops it for sure, and it's the worst in the women's department and based on the reviews, it seems like no one is doing ANYTHING to address this problem. I was in LINE with an associate who was helping someone else, and right after they finished, she just left the station without acknowledging me and letting me know that she would be busy and wouldn't be able to assist me. After waiting a bit and realizing she wouldn't be coming back, I asked her if she could assist me, but she said that wasn't her department so she couldn't. I find another associate to help me and on my way out, I see that same previous associate AT THAT SAME COUNTER THAT SHE SAID SHE COULDN'T HELP ME AT with ANOTHER customer. This is unacceptable and so disrespectful. Not only did she ignore me while I was clearly waiting for her help, she straight up lied to me that this wasn't her department and right after she said that, helped another customer at that same counter. I've had another rude experience before this as well, but this one was so absurd I had to share my experience. However, Pat in the bag department has always been helpful and I haven't had any issues with the men's department so far either. But with the horrible customer service I've experienced, I would give this Dillard's 0 stars if I could read more

There are not many shopping options in this area without driving another 30 minutes away so I have had to go here a few times. This Dillard's is actually a really nice layout and clean and stocked well. It's never busy and probably because of their biggest problem.... the employees! They are always horribly rude. If you ask them to do even a little bit of their job, they have an attitude and are terrible towards you. No matter which department! I don't think I've ran into a nice employee at this Dillard's. You would think that in order to keep it open, they would be nicer so customers would want to shop there. They are always visiting with each other and on their phones, so it's a bother to ask to check out. The manager isn't much better either. This is a nice Dillards that offered a large selection of mostly designer clothes in a variety of styles. My friend and I were in the women's pajamas section and the employee working the cash register was incredibly rude. When I asked if I could try something on, she rolled her eyes. I am a cardholder, recently in 3 separate occasions in bee cave I felt very uncomfortable with the cashier. The lady that check me out was there and did not offer help until I ask her can I check out, she looked at me up to down and down to up first and then check me out with no greeting or thank you in end, this happened 2 times with the same person in women department. Then another time i bought several item for my daughter that I need to return two of them after 3 days. In kids department she make the shirt inside out and check inside, and examine the clothing for at least 8-10 minutes. My daughter even did not try them, tag was in I had receipt also. I was so mad I wanted walk customer service counter and ask for manager to tell her . But because I was so mad I do not want do that. I am eleven years old and today I walked in to Dillards with my friend who is also eleven years old.We walked upstairs and as soon as we grabbed our clothes and we were walking over to the dressing room and Then we were stopped by A quite rude staff member. She had told us that we should go to the junior section because that outfit would not fit us. me and my friend quickly is assured her that we were just trying it on and wanted to see how it fit. The conversation was soon stopped by another lady who walked in and said that she was the only staff member on the top floor. we continued walking to the dressing room, and had to ask the same lady to unlock the doors. she firmly replied, by saying" make sure you hang those up and put them back where you found them!" The tone that she had said it in made me and my friend feel very uncomfortable. we decided we did not want to keep the clothes and we left them in the dressing room. we then continued our walk around the store to the kid section and found a cute fit. we headed our way back to the dressing room and ask the lady again. Can you please unlock the doors. she then raised her voice, and said" I still see those rompers in there , You better put the clothes back!" me and my friend were awfully offended, but decided to still try on the clothes. we didn't think that they would fit so we grabbed the rompers and the clothes we just tried on and we saw a rack full with clothes so we asked the lady do we put the clothes here? she then became furious, and said" I work here to sell you see where I'm sitting over there it's to sell and you guys just thinking it's silly to try and clothes is ridiculous and I know you guys are not gonna buy those clothes!" My friends and I immediately felt uncomfortable and shocked by the rude customer service. But we still continued our walk around the store. Reductions like 65% off plus 40% off on some costume jewelry for my lady friend; one item started at nearly $50 and rang up just under $11. Egyptian Cotton 1000 thread count sheet sets marked down from $119 to under $43. Name brand suitcases marked down 67%. First of all, bought shoes less than 100 days ago (but more than 90). Mens shoes over $200 and they "Look like they're two years old" according to customer service agent. Was sent away to get receipt. When came back with proof of purchase was THEN told because over 90 days, too bad. Even though we visited at day 87 and was told to come back when a manager was in. I love this small Dillard's. It definitely doesn't have the selection of say, the Domain Dillard's, but it's easily accessible and is rarely crowded. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a big selection, go into town. If you don't mind a bit of a smaller one, come here. I was a little disappointed that the linen department was lacking in duvet covers, but in a store this size, they can't have it all I guess. Because you can't give a negative star!! A week ago today, 2/17/19, I went to Dillard's Bee Cave, Tx and purchased 585.00 of shoes and clothes for a business trip I was going to on Monday, 2/18/10. I was not feeling well so I decided not to try on the shoes or the clothes because I have never had an issue exchanging things at other Dillard's if they didn't fit before. Once in Fort Worth and at my hotel I unpacked my bags, removed the tags from the clothes to run a quick iron over them so they were not wrinkled from being in the suitcase and would be ready to wear for my meetings the next day. This is routine for me. When I got dressed the next morning, the white pants I wanted to wear were to large so I put on the black pants which fit fine and went to my meeting. Coming back to my room that night I decided I should try everything since they fit so differently. The Michael Kors pants were the only ones that fit true to size. I folded the three that didn't fit and put them in my bag with the receipt however hotel housekeeping had thrown out the tags that were removed and left on my nightstand when I ironed the clothes. These were the only 3 out of 8 items of clothing that I would need to exchange for a smaller size when I returned. My purchase of the shoes was an issue as well. Yes, I should have checked for the right sizes and tried them on but I didn't think I would need to since I was very clear to the girl helping me that I needed a 7.5 in the boots because of boot socks but would need a 7 in the slip on shoes. I purchased the 4 pairs of shoes and 1 pair of boots and left. When I pulled my shoes out of my suitcase to put in the hotel closet I saw that all of the shoes were 7.5 like the boots. The girl at Dillard's pulled everything in 7.5 not 7 in the shoes as I had requested. The boots fit perfectly, the shoes I can't wear because I slip right out of them. All are still in the box and still have the wrapping and shape holder in them and I put them back in the bag to exchange as well. I am now back from Fort Worth and called Dillard's Bee Cave to ask if they had the shoes in a 7 for me to come in and exchange. I drove 40 minutes from my home in Buda to EXCHANGE.... NOT RETURN!! These items so I can wear them. I was shocked and I am furious that when I got there, the manager, Mariah Prana refused to allow me to exchange any of the items from the clothes to the shoes saying that the receipts didn't matter without the tags for the clothes and the shoes she said clearly say all over my receipt that they can't be returned after 3 days... I stated again, I never asked to return a single item, I only wanted the correct sizes which she had in the boxes at the register since I had called ahead and explained I'd be coming to Dillard's Bee Cave specifically to exchange these items. She refused to exchange anything today stating that "DILLARDS WILL NOT BE RETURNING ANY OF YOUR ITEMS TODAY, FOR THE FUTURE YOU SHOULD KEEP YOUR TAGS" and she sent me out with hundreds of dollars worth of items I will not be able to wear when she did have the right sizes in stock and on hold for me at the register! Please keep in mind I was not at anytime attempting to return a single item, only to exchange for the right sizes!! I will never shop at Dillard's again and want an explanation from your corporate office ASAP!! I am going to share this on every review site I can because no one should be subject to this type of abuse where they spend their hard earned money and everyone should be able to wear the clothes and shoes that they just spent hundreds of dollars on! I was humiliated in front of other shoppers and treated as if I were a shop lifter, not the paying customer that I was whom had just spent hundreds of dollars at Dillard's! read more

I see that I am not the only victim of Dillards ABYSMAL customer service. I made many purchases over the web site spending an obscene amount of money at this store during the pandemic. I accidentally bought the same expensive jacket twice and didn't realize it until a day ago. I tried to return it online but was unable to: In the process I saw that it is now on sale. I called the company and spoke to an agent who refuses to let me finish explaining the predicament and kept insistently repeating that more than 30 days had elapsed, which was true, I never contested this. Yet as I tried to explain that the jacket was still sitting in the unopened box, I had all the receipts and that I had spent thousands of dollars with no prior issues or returns so I was asking for an exception be made in the interest of good customer service, she sarcastically repeated the policy again, then said that the item was no longer for sale by the store anyway. I replied that I had seen it for sale on the site the previous night and she said " No you didn't." Imagine how it felt to be called a liar after heavily patronizing this store. This store is oblivious to the competitive retail customer service environment. Just across the street, I walked into an electronics store concerned that I had overpaid for an item now marked down. Without a receipt, they looked up my account by phone number, noted the difference and handed me cash. Nice! Flash forward to Dillards. My wife tells me that the boots I bought her for Xmas a week ago are now marked down. I saved the receipt in my truck. I will just go over and show them, right? Think again smart shopper! After waiting 20 minutes for a manager the rules are explained: I must bring the boots back and return them. They can not have been worn. I cannot buy the same boots back for 24 hours. If they have another pair of the boots in the same size, I can buy those without the 24 hour waiting period. No one with me can buy the boots. (I guess I need to set up a "straw buyer" which...... unlike real estate, is perfectly legal in retail) As I was leaving, the poor woman behind me is getting interrogated as to whether she actually, at some point, put the shoes she was returning on either or both feet.
