The clothing ranged from pieces that might be of interest to Generation X or Y's to Baby Boomers. Mazúr Boutique also had a few shoes for sale as well. It was delightful to see the Longhorns (University of Texas at Austin mascot...in the house) prominently displayed on some of the children's clothing. Given that Mazúr Boutique co-exists with Mazúr Coffee, you can have a cup of coffee and shop or shop and have a cup of coffee...your choice. The idea of the store is that it's a store operating within a store. They also have some stand-alone locations. Similar to Nordstrom Rack if you will. They offer merchandise that you would normally find at Macy's from housewares to clothing but with pricing more like TJ Maxx or Marshall's. This location had a lot of items that I wanted and I was able to spend a fraction of the price. I actually bought a couple of things that were also still available in "regular" Macy's but for much less. The inventory changes often so there will most likely always be something different each visit. The sales staff were nice and helpful. If you're a bargain shopper like me, don't pass up Backstage.

I wasn't sure at first, but I have to admit I love how it looks and fits, and while I miss having a breast pocket, it does look fancier. As for the store itself I found it very smart looking and not crowded but still nicely displaying everything available. There are two unusually spacious and comfortable changing rooms which I very much appreciated. And there were three employees who helped me, all of whom were very friendly and knowledgeable and made the shopping trip go so quickly and smoothly.
