The Cicero store is no exception. On a recent visit I picked up the Latin Flank Steak bowl. Since I love Wegman's so much, my expectations were high, though this one left me a bit disappointed. The steak was grizzly and chewy. In fairness, the label said it could be served either cold or heated. Since I wasn't at home, heating wasn't an option. If you decide to give this one a try, I don't recommend it cold. Plus, at $16.00 for one serving, it was certainly no bargain. The store ambience is pleasant, but the quick service isn't so quick. In years past, you could pay for your order at the grab and go section, avoiding the regular checkout line. No more. This was particularly disappointing, given employees were just standing around (something I don't often see at Wegman's). With some tweaks to the service model and an upgrade to the flank steak, Wegman's can meet Customers' expectations (and maybe let them forget the steep price per serving).

Specialties would be their jams and pickles- I have fun just looking at the names of them. Their candy selection is also good, especially if you like gummy candies. I can also find some unique sodas such as white birch beer, sassafras soda, and cheerwine to name a few. There is a little gift shop/religious books section near the front, which can be nice to browse through. Saunders sells outdoor furniture and decor, and there is a furniture store proper attached. I've been especially tempted by their swiveling and gliding rocking chairs. I've had some good food at the cafe, the Reuben in particular being super tasty. You do have to enter the cafe through the store and park your cart before you go into the cafe. You order at the counter and then the staff gives you a number and will bring you your meal. Car parking is ample here but there are speed bumps, so watch it! I haven't noticed any bike racks, so cyclists likely need to get creative. The store is closed on Sundays and can be busy with campers during the summer months.

I go weekly for their selection of eggs, yogurt, butter and coffee.
