Not to be confused with the coconut pastry spelled macaroons, these are French macarons that are made from egg whites and almond powder where the outside is flaky and the inside is chewy. For a $1.50 each, they are priced right where you would expect to pay anywhere else for a macaron. After first glance, I immediately noticed that these were significantly larger than most macarons. Whoever said too much of a good thing is definitely not a foodie. With macarons, size does matter and I was enjoying each additional bite. I ordered 10 of their pistachio and they were all gone within the hour. I appreciated that each was individually wrapped - almost as if it was your own personal delight. What surprised me the most was the follow up. I initially emailed them asking if they were coming to the Merchandise Mart area when they first launched and I received an email on Friday stating that they were outside of my work.
