Second only to Al's Ice Creamery in downtown Elgin, which is the old famous Burns pharmacy chocolate Malt that used to be located on Bluff City Blvd some 50+ years ago. Oberweis gets it right with just the perfect amount of malt. It comes with a cookie straw and a fair amount of whipped cream. If you've never had the pleasure of trying one of their ice cream delicacies, stop in and give them a try, you won't be disappointed with anything their on the menu.
