The employee, Tim, told me they had 6 vanilla and 6 chocolate vegan cupcakes available. I requested 4 chocolate cupcakes, and he said I would need to prepay and that they would be ready in 15 minutes. I was surprised they could be prepared that quickly, but went along with it. We picked them up about 30 minutes later and brought them home. That evening, my son tried one and it was extremely hard, with grainy frosting. Overall, the cupcake tasted terrible. We didn't eat the remaining three and left them in the box. The next day, I returned to the shop to share my concerns and was told Tim would call me back. He did call and said they had tried a cupcake and felt it tasted fine. He also told me that I may not know what vegan cupcakes taste like. I didn't argue, but I've had plenty of vegan desserts before, and they've never been this inedible. He then explained that the batter used was leftover from a cake made a week earlier and that it's common practice for them to freeze batter and make cupcakes later. I was surprised to hear this. More disappointing was that there was no attempt to make things right or offer any solution--only to explain why they wouldn't provide a refund. I told him that was fine, but that I wouldn't be returning or recommending their shop and would be sharing my experience. If you're looking for vegan options or any dessert options and decent customer service, there are plenty of other places in the area. I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

They offer fresh bread that they can slice for you when you order, or you can take it home unsliced. The staff is extremely friendly and patient while taking your order, and they never make you feel rushed, even when there's a line of customers. I ordered a cake and a dessert table from them for a party, and they did an amazing job. Salma was incredibly helpful throughout the process, offering recommendations and assisting us with our order. I accidentally selected 7 items instead of 6, and I clearly told them multiple times that I only wanted 6 and did NOT want the extra item. Instead of fixing a simple mistake calmly, they kept raising their tone at me, which was unnecessary and uncomfortable. As a customer, I expect basic respect and professionalism. This situation could have been handled politely in seconds, but instead it turned into a negative experience. I won't be returning, and I hope management seriously works on customer service.
