Today I got cupcakes through the "too good to go" app. I received 18 full size cupcakes for $7.99. What a deal! The cupcakes were fresh, with a good variety. Service was very quick as they had my order already boxed and ready to go. Others take more time if you are doing an order for an occasion. We have used Delish Cakes for baby shower cookies more than once. Anyway, back to the cupcakes. The cupcake itself is regular sized, and the frosting is very thick and very sweet. All the flavors are very good and they have a good variety. It's almost too thick but hey, you only live once. I would go back for the cookies and cupcakes.

I would avoid this establishment…read more I called on 1/27 at 12:40 PM to order vegan cupcakes for my son's birthday. The employee, Tim, told me they had 6 vanilla and 6 chocolate vegan cupcakes available. I requested 4 chocolate cupcakes, and he said I would need to prepay and that they would be ready in 15 minutes. I was surprised they could be prepared that quickly, but went along with it. We picked them up about 30 minutes later and brought them home. That evening, my son tried one and it was extremely hard, with grainy frosting. Overall, the cupcake tasted terrible. We didn't eat the remaining three and left them in the box. The next day, I returned to the shop to share my concerns and was told Tim would call me back. He did call and said they had tried a cupcake and felt it tasted fine. He also told me that I may not know what vegan cupcakes taste like. I didn't argue, but I've had plenty of vegan desserts before, and they've never been this inedible. He then explained that the batter used was leftover from a cake made a week earlier and that it's common practice for them to freeze batter and make cupcakes later. I was surprised to hear this. More disappointing was that there was no attempt to make things right or offer any solution--only to explain why they wouldn't provide a refund. I told him that was fine, but that I wouldn't be returning or recommending their shop and would be sharing my experience. If you're looking for vegan options or any dessert options and decent customer service, there are plenty of other places in the area. I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

They had an array of pastries to choose from, and you can also order cakes, including wedding cakes. My friend got a rum ball which she said was really good, and I got a pistachio raspberry tart; the pistachio cream and raspberry topping was delicious, but the tart shell was tough as old boots, to borrow a phrase from "The Great British Bakeoff": I couldn't cut it with either a knife or fork! They also sell a small array of grocery items from Poland, but not much in the way of ready-to-go beverages, which would have been nice to see.

Margaret said she could fulfill my order AND deliver the individually-wrapped cookies to my home. I was thrilled! Margaret showed up at my door exactly on time, and the cookies were wonderful! They all looked great and tasted great, as well. My guests were so impressed with her cookies. I will definitely order from Margaret again. Their hours of operation are a bit limited so I recommend checking they are open before driving over. We tried their Cannoli & Nutella Dossant. Both had soft "donut" outsides and creamy filling. Their exceptional service and mouthwatering cupcakes have made me a loyal customer for life. The first time I ordered was for my youngest daughter's birthday, and they created a stunning unicorn cake that left everyone in awe. The cake was not only visually impressive but also incredibly delicious. The attention to detail and the skill of the bakers truly shined through. For my eldest daughter's graduation party, we decided to switch things up and ordered cupcakes instead. We opted for the chocolate pie cupcakes and the wedding cupcakes, and both varieties were absolutely amazing. As a person who typically favors chocolate desserts, I approached the almond wedding cake flavor with some hesitation. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how delightful it turned out to be. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and each bite was a delightful treat. However, I must take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the exceptional customer service I received from Vanilla Sugar Bakery. Due to my busy schedule, I completely forgot to place the order for the cupcakes on time. With only three days left before I needed them, I frantically attempted to order online, only to find that there was no option to specify the desired date. In a moment of desperation, I decided to call the store and hope for the best. To my relief, the person I spoke to on the phone was incredibly sweet, kind, and caring. She immediately understood my predicament and assured me that she would help me out. She advised me to place the order online and promised to change the pickup date to accommodate my needs. I cannot express how grateful I am for her willingness to go above and beyond to assist me. Her exceptional service truly saved the day. When I picked up the cupcakes from Vanilla Sugar Bakery, I was greeted with a warm smile and the most delightful aroma of freshly baked goods. The cupcakes were beautifully presented, and it was evident that great care had been taken in their preparation. Vanilla Sugar Bakery has undoubtedly earned my loyalty. Their exceptional service, even in the face of my forgetfulness, and their delicious cupcakes have left a lasting impression. I will continue to rely on them for all my bakery needs, and I eagerly look forward to exploring the other delectable treats they have to offer. Thank you, Vanilla Sugar Bakery, for your remarkable service and creating such delightful cupcakes!

That said, it definitely didn't deter me from coming back! I didn't get a chance to try the gelato this time, but there were several flavors I had my eye on. After talking to her, I could tell she knew really did understand our needs . She even provided in detail the steps she takes to avoid cross contamination and she provided a list of ingredients used, so we could cross check. Dealing with Lori was so nice. Lori told me how and why she COULD do the things we needed done, instead of so many other bakeries that told me why they couldn't, or what I would have to settle with/for. Baker on the Block truly exceeded my expectations! I can not even begin to tell you how nice it was to know that we could truly enjoy this cake without fear of allergic reaction! The best surprise was how good the bake tasted! This was one of the most flavorful cakes I have ever eaten. The butter cream frosting tasted mild and sweet, not waxy like at all. The chocolate cake was light and fluffy and my fork easily cut right through it. Lori is also gifted at cake decorating. As I said, I needed a theme cake, the request was for an Outlander related cake with the stones. Outlander is not my thing, I had no idea what I needed. So Lori did some research and presented an excellent design option very quickly. She brought the solution to me where other bakeries were looking to me, and I had no idea. I appreciated Lori making it really, really simple for me. The cake was ready on time and in a sturdy box.
