Hi! My son is…read moreautistic and his school has been a great support system for us. We are all home sick with the flu so I couldn't deliver in person. We have a new location that just opened, and I wanted to send them 14 Bundt cakes for their staff as a gift of gratitude today 12/23. I accidentally order minis and tried to call to correct the order and the staff did not seem to understand what I was asking for. I asked for the Manager to explain what we needed and she came on the phone super aggressive telling me they don't do hand outs and can't "give me anything for free"! I explained that I wanted to support the new business and send large bundts to the school and I didn't want anything for free! Her response? "First off you watch how you talk to me"! I had entered the Twilight zone, I cancelled my order with DoorDash and was not refunded only offered a credit. I then had to call DoorDash, find something else to send the school, and place the order while having a child with a 103 fever on my lap. A total of 1 hour and 20 minutes wasted when all I wanted to do was send a gift of gratitude during the holiday season. This was THE most draining a disappointing experience and how disappointing that they tainted something wonderful. They are developing a reputation of poor customer service in town, running away customers and causing the company to lose money. So disappointing! On a high note, placed an order with Crumble Cookies instead and they prepared the order and had it out the door in 5 minutes. I called to ensure it was nut free and they provided excellent customer service! Joy won! Happy Holidays everyone!

Ambience: is cold straight forward, you select your cookie on a screen, you pay for it there too,…read moreand then you are expected to tip by doing everything on your own but deliver the cookie... Service: Sometimes the staff don't say anything since they're busy making orders and the only thing they say is your name when your order is ready. They will answer you if you have questions about what's in the cookie or whatever your question is. Food: The cookies are usually a meh for me. But my kids like's them and I try to make an effort to give businesses chances if they've become any better. Especially they have the 3 smaller cookies for $9.99... Now VS the last time I came here..(yes it's been a while).. But the last time I ordered the 3 pack small cookies I had gotten the chocolate chip for my daughter (because those were her favorite here).. it did not have a single chocolate chip on them.. WHAT A SHAME! So that was $3.33 down the drain. I realize what a scam this was place was. This is why I gave them a 3 stars. SOME cookies are good mainly the ones with cream as a topping.. Some are too dry. Plus the cookie is expensive as hell! Ok to try but not a daily treat to do. Maybe, an occasional treat but would I go here as my first treat. Nope! Learn to make them your own. Overpriced cookies! In my POV. Sadly I won't be back for a while... hoping at all.

Discovered this delightful little gem randomly when my wife looked through the weekly ad packets…read morethat get delivered and she normally tosses out. Not gonna lie, Australians have meat pies as a common food, and I'm not sure why the hell it's not caught on more in the US. Meat+ pastry +small size = amazing. They've a nice big selection of meat pies and rolls, prices were surprisingly reasonable, and their pastries won me over quite easily. (Cinnamon rolls and scones!). I was surprised my kids liked the pies and rolls too. My son's pretty picky (ugh), but he asked for a 2nd sausage roll which was nice to see. Didn't finish it, but even liking it enough to ask for another and eat half is like Xmas come early for us. Flavors and textures are great! Just watch burning your tongue... which I did twice in our visit. Worth it though. Wanted to make sure I post up here since it's a local place opened recently and need it to stick around for a good long time. Only other place to get meat pies is downtown chicago which is annoying to get to.

I'm a sucker for the lemon slices, honey joys, and "flagship" sausage rolls (haven't tried the jalapeno and cheese or the others but I will). If you're looking for something different for a meeting or luncheon that will make everyone happy and have them still talking about it weeks later, I'd hit them up for a catering order. Prices are more than reasonable, and to be fair, everyone already knows what they're getting when you bring in the usual green boxes and cups with the same logos on them. Put some sausage rolls, lamingtons, and homemade Aussie scones down on the serving table instead and watch the reactions. They have some vegetarian and vegan options, but you should probably call and talk to them about it because I don't know all the processes and they do bake items with and without meat in the same ovens. Some folks are stricter about their diets than others, so just ask. They'll talk to you about anything, really. They're so outgoing and friendly, you always leave feeling you just hung out with your best friends. It seems like we could all use more of that and I really appreciate them.

I stopped by when passing through the area for a coffee and to check out dt Bloomingdales new addition. I loved that this was located in an older house and had seating both inside and on the front patio. The gentleman working was filling a sub order before helping me. There was minimal signage posted so I got to ask about what they had to offer. I decided on an iced lavender latte and two donuts to go (biscoff & cannoli). Everything was ready in minutes which was great! My coffee was strong but had minimal lavender flavoring. The donuts were the real win! $2 for each, great flavor filling, and super soft! While the coffee wasn't my favorite in the area, I'd definitely come back to try other baked goods and the sub sandwiches!

The building itself appears to be a house and it gave me the sense of 'Welcome home, kick your feet up and relax.' There is an outdoor front patio and 2 small tables inside but it seems that for the most part people grab and go or sit at the patio. I was so happy to see that this place was crowded at 8:30am. This is a family owned business and it was great to see them doing well. Service was on the slower side, but again, it was busy and this spot is fairly new. I tried a cappuccino and a pistachio brioche donut. The cappuccino was the perfect temperate of hot but not overly hot. Quality wise I also enjoyed the flavors and texture of this cappuccino. That pistachio brioche donut?!?! The 1 I had must have been freshly baked bc goodness it was delicious and warm. HEAVEN IN MY MOUTH, full of flavor, light/delicate and just oh so goooood. I will say that I wish the filling was more generous but overall this was a very good donut.

I fell in love with Turkish coffee in Dubai several years ago when I was there on business. Unfortunately, there were few if any coffee houses in the Western Suburbs that served real Turkish coffee, until NOW! Shibam, brought back pleasant memories of my time in the UAE. From the moment we walked into the coffee house, it was spotless, and beautifully decorated similar to ones in Dubai. On both occasions I ordered the small pot Turkish coffee with a savory beef croissant and our absolute favorite Honeycomb bread. Needless to say, Shibam is now my go to coffee house, forget Starbucks!
