A+! This place is is straight fire! (Meaning the best, of the best). The moment I walked in, I stood there for a solid minute to enjoy the aroma of sweet treats. I ended up visiting Dolce Marie every day while I was on vacation. I could write a small book about how delicious everything was, but I know I have only 40 seconds of anyone's attention reading this. My advice, try the gelato, s'mores, chocolates, and fresh baked cookies. The owners are always baking up a nice treat in the front of the store. If I could rate this place higher than five stars I would! I've tried their chocolates, cookies and gelato, and they are all beyond delicious. My favorite flavors of gelato were the peanut butter and vanilla. It is so creamy, delicious, and is by far the best gelato I've had! Chocolate chip cookies were also delicious. They're peanut butter cups are a must with creamy peanut butter inside. Not to mention their dark chocolate bars! The owners are so nice, and their employees are good too! They give you a good amount of Ice cream for a great price. We just visited Marco Island for a little over a week and went here almost everyday. This place was definitely our favorite! Absolutely used to be addicted to this place... unfortunately it's obvious they no longer care. Last I went was about 6/7 years ago now it's bland looking chocolate nothing hand painted no decadent flavors the store was always immaculate not a speck on the glass shelves or dust or anything not anymore the shelves have so many crumbs I wouldn't be surprised if they had a bug problem!! and now it's a claustrophobia nightmare of red dye 40 candies and kids toys and some bicycle taking up precious shopping space for customers like what are they thinking??? Also gelato isn't real it's practically lightly flavored frozen cool whip! The worst of all though was no one looked happy to be working there they all stared at you blankly and they no longer greet you with a smile every time you come in. Disappointing to say the least! As someone from the Nj/NYC who knows canolis, I was pleasantly surprised. Great taste and good dough, maybe the creme was a little loose, but could have been the hotel refrigerator not being cold enough. The coconut creme cake is tasty but a little too sweet but the carrot cake was a perfect balance. I recommend checking them out. read more

Despite the food looking pretty good the lady who works there and seems to be in charge is beyond rude. She had attitude for no reason. I was kind and she said "really you want to do that for two turtles" like yes ma am I did want to split cash and card for the find two turtles. I asked politely and the original cashier was very kind and sweet. Feel sorry that she has to work with such a negative women. Also she was negative to my friends and also talked to him in a rude manor. I shoulda walked out but I already handed her my cash. Will not ever be returning. The people working, I'm assuming they were the owners, were so incredibly sweet and warming. I've never had gelato before so they let me try whichever ones I wanted. They had a bunch of flavors. Bought three items here over the course of two years and was dissapointed. First was a caramel apple that was well below County Fair quality but cost twice as much. Next was a peanut butter cup with the strongest chocolate flavor I've ever tasted far to rich. This to was expensive. I thought the gelato would be better but not really, it lacked the flavor of regular ice cream and cost over $4. I give two stars because the store is nice and the workers are friendly. read more

Michelle and her team catered a surprise high tea lunch for my wife's birthday at our home. From the sandwiches and sweets that adorned the antique pedestals to the cake and gift bags that ended the meal to the service and unique entertainment, everything was perfect. My wife continues to receive raves from her girlfriends and Michelle made the party incredibly easy for me. I just opened the front and the Dolce Mare team took care of the rest.
