Jerk Chicken

Went here for my brother in laws birthday. The DJ was good, our waitress was nice but the food was terrible. I ordered the jerk chicken, it was not jerk chicken. It didn't even resemble or taste like jerk chicken. They need to go next door to the Jamaican restaurant and get their recipe. Also, my chicken was dry and stale. It stunk, smelled like they found some chicken in the back of the fridge and served it. I won't be back. If you go, DO NOT order the jerk chicken.

After a failed brunch at Noah Osteria, bestie & I came to Dolce hoping to turn up the fun. It was Sunday, about 4:30/5pm when we arrived and it was mostly empty. There were a few tables of people in the back who had just finished eating and were dancing to jersey club music. We ordered shots which did take a while to come. We ended up going to the bar to ask about them and to order food. One girl most have asked the DJ for some Caribbean music. Lol he didn't have anything new. I felt like I was at a backyard party with my grandma and her friends. Our food was finally ready around the same time that we started to leave. We had both types of the empanadas. Both were good. I'd come back as a last resort.

Came here for Sunday Brunch the place was empty the Dj didn't even set up yet and it was past 3. The food was really Good so was the sangria and the Hennessy sidecar. I'm only giving this place 3 stars based on how empty it was I wanted to party and hear good music! The music was ok. I would like to go back

I've come here on a couple different occasions. Happy hours are good and bring in the after work court crowd. Weekends are lit. Once they open the back. They can run out of hookah which is annoying to experience.

Too sweet. Ask for sauce on side! Calamari

Relatively small place and what was disappointing is that they advertised their happy hour as if it would be jumping on a Saturday. We showed up 2 hours into happy hour and the place was empty! The gracious bartender asked us what type of music we wanted to listen to and played good music for us. We understand the evening crowd is lively and are inclined to stop by again but it was really disappointing that it was completely empty! We ordered food anyway and it was tasty and the portion was plentiful. However, two entrees and 4 drinks later (during happy hour) and our bill came out to $100. I thought that was a bit much for happy hour lunch!

My lady and I decided to come to Dolces for their Sunday Brunch. Nick held me down with a reservation and our server I believe her name was Adriana, she was very nice and helpful. Their outdoor seating gets the job done. Food is delicious, portions are huge. Hookah was pretty good too. Service was very good. We will definitely be back.

Great COVID football Sunday. GREAT food. Bartenders are chill and nice. Not too packed but a great time out. Great DJ made me miss the pre Covid days!

This place is great. It's very urban and you must make a reservation(because of the pandemic) . They play pretty good music and it's a great vibe. The most surprising thing was how great the food was and how strong the drinks were. You definitely get your money's worth and I love that. They even serve hookah as well in a good variety of flavors. If you're look for a fun night out o highly suggest stopping by

Real sangria. Don't order the "Blue" sangria!

Just a very regular plate of wings that never quite found a personality. The fries were also mid. Salty in that sneaky way where every bite makes you pause and go, wait, why is this salt coming from a hidden compartment? Like somebody in the kitchen lost a bet with the shaker. They were fine enough to eat, but not nearly exciting enough to justify the sodium plot twist. The beef on hummus was decent and probably the strongest thing I had. Good enough to keep things moving. A little more grounded. A little more satisfying. Nothing that had me rewriting my life plans, but definitely the plate with the most going for it. Overall, the food was decent, but everything leaned extra salty and kind of gave elevated fast food with better lighting. Not awful. Just not landing in a way that felt especially worth the hype or the price. More like if a casual chain restaurant put on a blazer and told you it was doing something special. Service was great though. Attentive. Friendly. Actually on it. The staff did a lot to keep the experience from slipping, and that matters. You felt taken care of even if the food was doing the most with the seasoning. The bathrooms were also clean, which I always notice, and the vibe was good. That part I will absolutely give them. The energy was solid. Cute enough to hang out in. Just wish the food matched the room a little more. it's giving... Love Island villa vibes with airport food seasoning.

The drinks were okay but overpriced. I ordered the I'm Coming Out, and the mango purée paired well with the tequila, so I'll give credit where it's due. Unfortunately, the food was a major letdown. The chicken empanadas were not good at all. The chicken skewers tasted like they were seasoned the same way as a steak, which just didn't work flavor-wise. The steak skewers were good, but the churrasco was way too salty, and the black rice had no flavor whatsoever. Overall, I was highly disappointed with the food. I considered coming back just for drinks and the vibe, but even that feels questionable since there are plenty of other places that are cheaper and offer a better overall experience. I went with the brunch menu, and with just one drink, my total came out to $85, which felt excessive for the quality. To make matters worse, the server lost one of the credit cards we used to pay the tab. We were told only two cards were given when there were actually three, and we had to search for it ourselves. That was extremely annoying and unacceptable. I've been here a few years ago, pre-COVID, and the service was much better back then. Unfortunately, it feels like both the service and the food have declined, especially for the price point. Because of that, I would not return and would rather spend my money at places where I know I'll have a great time overall

It was easy to find parking nearby on the street, we walked in and were immediately sat down. Service was great throughout the meal. The server did speak primarily to us in Creole. I can see how that may not work for someone who is not Haitian. Maybe having someone who did speak a mix. However, he was very nice and the food came out fast and was delish. Shared a griot fritay to start and it was definitely tasty and portion was good. For entree I had the legume with Beef with black rice. Tasty, spicy, and very authentic tasting. I can say they stay true to the flavors and don't water them down. The drink was ehh. I did not taste much liquor in the creole punch. Not worth it in my opinion. In terms of ambiance, I wish better music was playing. The set up was cool. Nothing amazing. If I was in the area again, I would come back.

I will mention one thing I stated to the bartender....The bar chairs are INCREDIBLY uncomfortable. These seats were not made to fit full size adult derrière. Good vibe.
