This all began because I got scammed. to make a very long (3 month) story short, it caused what was left in our bank account to be frozen because we used on-line banking. Anyway, we live over an hour away from our bank so if we needed money (debit card was also frozen), we had to make that one hour plus drive just to be able to buy groceries etc. But then, someone suggested we go to Dok Klaus Computer Repair in Warrenton (another hour plus drive each way). But - we had to do something to get our bank to allow us to do on-line banking again. So I unplugged everything and off to Warrenton I went. And this is where my story changes from anger and tears to HAPPY tears! The minute we walked into the place I just knew we were where we needed to be. Everyone there knew exactly what had happened and what needed to be done. They were all truly sympathetic to our plight and assured us that "no, we were not the most stupid people on the planet". Sadly, this sort of thing happens WAY more than I realized. To try and close this up, each and every person there made me feel like I had nothing to worry about from that point forward - and they were RIGHT!! Not only did they scrub all the stuff the hacker had done to my computer, they also checked my phone and my iPad! They gave me a document I could take to the bank to get our on-line banking turned back on and a new debit card. I had questions but they answered each and every one as if they realized that even though they may have been simple questions they treated them and me as if they were all very impportant. I apologize for being so long winded, but I want to make sure that I get across the fact that these folks are all excellent (and caring) in everything they do. I hate that long drive to Warrenton but these guys are so good, and so helpful that I would drive twice that far just to get them for any of my computer needs. If you're having any issues - don't hesitate- call them up and I promise you will be glad that you did. As far as I'm concerned they get 5 stars. They deserve more than 5, but 5 was as high as the rating scale went. One quick last thing: everyone I met there could answer any question I asked - they didn't have to turn to someone else for the answer - they were all excellent and up-to-date on everything I asked about. So, honestly I'm really stopping now, but I just had to say one more THANK YOU for all that you did, and for your superb attitude. Your customer service is beyond anything I've ever experienced from a company such as this. WAY TO GO GUYS - you are all my new "super heroes". read more

We trust Dok Klaus Computer Care! Our external hard drive failed and we abruptly lost access to important financial files, including tax documents, work files, family photos, and other files important to us. We called on Monday and our files were restored by Thursday. They also wiped the failed drive to protect our data, something we didn't think about, but certainly needed. I recently had a problem with my home computer and took it to Dok Klaus for Analysis and Repair. Dok offered me 2 options on how to solve the issue, and then as we discussed more he gave me some advice on some hardware fixes to improve reliability speed and performance. I came out of my experience with Dok Klaus really pleased and satisfied with a great experience. Dok was all you could ask for in an IT Professional. He was able to explain things clearly, offer a range of options and treated me with a ton of courtesy and respect. My computer stopped working in the middle of a big project with a quickly approaching deadline. I took it to Dok Klaus and they helped me out very quickly, I was able to ask for priority service which costed a bit more however it was worth it to me to be able to get my computer back overnight! Apparently the hard drive was corrupted and needed to be replaced. They were able to recover all of my information and installed what they call a solid state drive that made my computer so much faster then it was before! Dropped laptop and I'm sure you know the rest! Dok Klaus to the rescue! They diagnosed my problem quickly but more importantly understood the urgency of needing it fixed to complete my taxes and I got my computer back in 2 days with a new hard drive, all my data transferred from the crashed drive, malware cleaned up and running better than ever! my laptop crashed 2 weeks ago and I don't have a backup computer. I use it everyday and need it every day. Klaus and his people managed to get most of my data of my harddrive and gave my a loaner so I could work. No major data were lost!!! they fixed the laptop within 2 days and they worked long hours. I know since I got calls from them the first evening till 11 pm and somebody started again at 7 am. the laptop is still working!!! and I still use it everyday. I am doing more backups of my data, however!!! read more

Had to get my daughter's Macbook set up for work and school in a hurry. Dok's tech did a great job of updating the OS, backing up her data, installing a new hard drive, and finding her a spare charger. For Mac work, the price was reasonable. read more

I am a computer dummy. So when my home page kept telling me that igoogle would be going away on November 1st, I had no idea what to do. So I decided to go as Dok Klaus if he could help me. When I walked in and explained my lack of knowledge, I met Mark. He was patient and explained what to do. When I glazed over and told him I had my laptop he offered to help with the change.
