Once you have gone through the initial enrolling process and gotten into their system, you fill in a request for service online and they contact you within 24 hours (usually it is closer to 12 hours). During stays, Best Friends Fur Ever have great communication. Sometimes they will upload pictures. They will reach out with any issues they have and respond quickly if you have any questions. The employees here clearly love dogs. No matter who the employee is, when we go to drop our dog off they get really excited to see our dog. He, in turn, gets excited to see them. We love that Best Friends Fur Ever will take care of grooming needs while we are away. If possible, they will trim nails, bathe them and express their anal glands. Finally, the biggest reason we choose Best Friends Fur Ever, is our dog always seems well taken care of when we return to get him. If he is happy, we are happy.

I know they give baths before pick up, but they have to because the dogs must sit in their own urine as long as they're there. My family and I moved to the Towson area from PG county earlier this year. Transferring from our previous office Union Vet in DC- whom we loved. Towson Veterinary Hospital is very convenient to our new home, and my hope was that we'd found a new home for vet care. I was incredibly wrong. Today I noticed that I was charged for a wellness visit after just having a wellness visit 3 weeks ago- this fee was assessed for booster shot administration, and apparently because it was a Saturday appt there was no way around it. The issue I have is that nobody in the office communicated this to me at the time I made the appointment. Nor did anyone tell me that I could have scheduled my dog for a tech visit on a weekday and avoid the fee. Upon calling them to communicate my concerns I was met with defensiveness and attitude from the front desk staff, Tiffany. Ultimately she gave me excuses as to why I was charged and told me it was my fault that I didn't book a tech visit. I asked for her name and the office managers name and she replied, they aren't in, the doctor is in a visit and I will have to wait for a call back- and she hung up the phone! I promptly called the office back and spoke with Rachel, a very kind member of the front desk staff, who has excellent customer service skills. She was very transparent about the issue and has assisted me with sorting things out. She will put me in contact with the office manager early next week and the expectation is that I will receive a refund for the wellness visit- that my dog didn't need- on Monday. Despite Rachel's efforts, I've requested my dogs records and I will not be returning to this office for future care. As a new member of the Towson community, I can confidently say I've had wonderful experiences thus far. This has been an exception to that and I can only advise that pet owners in the area AVOID!!!

He got to play with sprinklers, enjoy one-on-one time with staff, cuddle during story time, and even have chicken and rice for dinner -- talk about VIP treatment! The staff did a wonderful job managing his energy, giving him time-outs when needed, and making sure he felt safe and loved the entire time. He came home happy, tired, and clearly well cared for. They will take it from there. I normally take him in the afternoon and he comes home so tired he just eats dinner and goes to bed. On the rainy days, it's great to have an alternative to staying in the house. The rates are reasonable, the onsite groomer did a wonderful job with Hendrix. And best of all, you can watch your pup play by downloading an app. ( for a small fee, I think it's less than $5 a month). Day care payments are automatically drafted every two weeks and if you choose to get your pup bathed while at daycare, it's added to your bill. Just call Melissa and make the appt. We were in a really tight spot - we were scheduled to go to Italy for a week, and one of our cats…read morehad just gotten quite ill and would need medication twice daily, which we felt would be too much to ask of a friend to try to administer. We got Stephanie's contact info from our vet, for whom she worked before starting her business. She got right back to me on the same day and asked to come over and meet the cats and get to know the layout of our apartment, which put me very much at ease. She recognizes that every pet is different, and it's important to get to know them and learn about them from their owners before trying to take care of them. She was also very respectful of our cats' behavior and didn't try to pressure them into interacting, and was familiar enough with the medications she'd be administering to recognize when it would be better to skip a dose than to freak out our sick cat further. By the end of the week, he was feeling MUCH better and had even come out for playtime, and our shyer cat - who comes out for almost nobody except us - had come out to visit and play as well! I can say all of this because she left us detailed, twice-daily notes as to her visits, and responded to texts as well (even with a six-hour time difference). When we got back, they were both bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and happy to see us, which tells me that they were glad to have her around. If we go out of town for a similar length of time (or even shorter, potentially), we will absolutely be asking Stephanie to take care of them again. Her pricing structure was also very reasonable (especially for the care we needed), and she broke down each and every cost for us before we signed the contract. I would absolutely recommend her to any and all anxious pet parents who are leaving town, or even if you just need somebody who's great with animals to look in on your furry friends and make sure they're fed and watered and happy. They kindly do it at the end of his stay so he comes home fresh. This past week, because our dog can display problematic behaviors, the yard attendant who was with Bruno most of the day came out to talk with me. She was an older lady, so very kind and described his behaviors, and gave him breaks when he was unable to be recorrected, instead of calling us and making me worry. I appreciate their problem solving and patience with our dog.

It is dark and animals rarely ever see people. They are left in their own urine and feces. The cages barely fit the animals. If you have a sick pet ask to see where it will be kept and demand to see the basement for sick animals. Hopefully this has changed by now . I'm honestly surprised it is allowed to operate but considering how hidden the room is it could easily be overlooked
