The owners attitude towards people of color is so disgusting and disrespectful. No greeting, not friendly at all, constantly watching as if you really want to steal anything from this hole in the wall joint. Food is never prepared properly, lacks flavor, the most disgusting gyro's and soggy pizza puffs I've ever had. Their polishes are supposedly deep fried, but has a very strong obnoxious smell. I called placed a order and called a hr later wondering where oh, where is my order from a hr ago. Now I spoke to 2 different guys, I assumed management. We'll any way I'm on the phone asking each of them about my food, now I've got a starving family sitting waiting for supper and lone behold they tell me no ticket to be found and that's why no food. They didn't offer anything for free, no discount for the trouble on behalf of the restaurant. Then I call next day cuz i was recommended their bubble gum shakes, and when the guy answered i politely said I hope my order gets taken. Dog World Owner, I hate to write a bad review but this one has to be told. First you increase your prices and then serve a lower quality of food. The crinkle fries we received were basically small pieces like the last of the bag. Would you like to receive them?? My foot long polish sausage was not fresh and the bun was reheated due to the hardness and wrinkles. Would you like to eat that??? I also ordered a Hawaiian burger, but where was the Hawaiian taste?? Not enough pineapple, tasted like a regular burger. So disappointing. We have eaten many times here but not liking the way you have lowered your standards and expectations of what a customer should receive. For the 40+dollars you charged, we could very well of had a fantastic meal elsewhere. So to the customers that have eaten here before, this place is just not the same. read more

This place is a Beloit classic! They have been serving up the best ghetto grub since I moved here back in the 90s. Highly recommend the wing dings, scoobies snacks and the gyro burger! Small "mom and pops" type restaurant. My sisters and I go there for their wings. Their wings are perfectly battered and fried. Wings aren't too small or too big just perfectly battered (not to thick), fried, juicy and made to order so scorching hot fresh! I can't find any other place in Beloit for wings the way I like. I chose "the works" dog - you know, to set the baseline against which future dogs will be measured. Been here numerous times . Food is normally good . Prices are reasonable. On our last visit there (last week) we ordered hot dogs and a gyro to go . Once home we were very disappointed! The hot dogs were shriveled up , like they had been thrown in a microwave and were over cooked . The worst part was the gyro tasted like something was spoiled , either the meat or maybe the sauce was rancid. I thought for sure we would get sick . The food was excellent. Tasted just as I expected. A great quick walk in/up to get a great Chicago style meal. The only issue I have is that for the price I paid I expected a larger portion of food. This place was great!!! I searched for it through Yelp it does show bad reviews, but I still said I will try it anyway. The bad reviews have to be from impossible people! I have eaten many Italian beef combination dogs as well as well as Chicago dogs and they stand right up there with some of the tops. I ordered my food and say dog while they prepared it and they were right on the ball less then ten mins with the phone ringing like crazy and other customers just walking in!! They have a great product and great service and should be given a much higher rating on here!!!!! What can I say. The food is pretty decent, a tad pricey for a hotdog though. Expect a 10-15 min wait after ordering.that's usaully because 1 peson is taking orders, preparing and taking phone orders for delivery. We go here often, since there a few places on the west side of Beloit that serve the variety of food that Dog World does. The food is good however, the owner is extremely rude. he has been rude to us in the store and over the phone several times. If there was a better option to go too we would. perhaps that is why he is known to treat both his customers and vendors that he works with such terrible customer service.
