Customer service 0/10 Ambiance 0/10 Food 0/10 Placed a pickup order at 8:30, got a notification my order was ready at 8:54 . Upon getting to the restaurant i was greeted rudely by a red headed/ ginger haired associate . She had an attitude before even assisting me . Told me my order was still being worked on because they were behind on a catering order . If my order wasn't ready it shouldn't have been pressed as complete in the system. After waiting over an hour and a half my food was ready. Staff are talking and laughing in the back while there is a line out the door for pickup orders/ doordash etc. customer service at this location is poor beyond compare . Owner of the establishment was there not once did he come out to apologize for the delays or even greet anyone . Staff didn't apologize for the inconvenience or thank everyone for waiting patiently for bad service at the least. Will not return and wouldn't recommend. Went tonight to celebrate national cheeseburger day all by accident. I clicked on an old email about a $5 reward, and the app showed it expired yesterday. I came across the fact that it was national cheeseburger day. I sent it to my husband, and he was 100% down for dog haus, especially since it was BOGO for their haus cheeseburger. We placed an order on the app, and my husband went to go pickup our food. He, excitedly, came home with the burgers. I started eating mine right away because the baby in my belly was hungry lol. Sadly, his burger had onions, and he can't eat them. He went back, and Christian helped him again. He was the one that helped him earlier. Christian was doing everything back there by himself. The food is good, no doubt about it. The cashier suggested to me that I could use the kiosk to look at the menu as well as place an order, so I did. When I ordered my corn dog, it asked what dipping sauce(s) I'd like and listed the cost of each one. So I paid about 49 cents for mustard. I thought that seemed really stingy of them. When we started eating, my friend said he wanted some ranch, so I dug into my purse for some quarters to buy his ranch, but to my surprise, one of the ladies working the counter kindly asked what I needed and just gave it to me. So, if you order at the kiosk you will pay money for dipping sauces. If you order with a human being, your dipping sauces are provided at no extra charge. Got it. Weird. It was empty when we got there but there was a steady stream of orders being picked up. We ordered from our table using a QR code. While waiting for our order we took advantage of the games they had available. My cousin enjoyed the Oahu Chicken and a breakfast Burrito. Aside from getting the delicious breakfast burritos, I finally tried a veggie burger from here. It was ol good but nothing spectacular. I appreciate the soft buns, but don't like how 4 small ones are put together to make one burger bun. It/they were soggy on the bottom before I made it home. The burger also needed seasoning. Terrible customer service. We placed an order for a corporate event and received a call 15 minutes before the scheduled pickup time from Angelica at the restaurant telling us the order would not be ready for another 1.5 hours. She said they didn't receive the order in time, even though we had placed it 3 days in advance. Instead of offering an apology or trying to help resolve the issue, she rudely asked if I still wanted the order or not. Since it was for a corporate event and there was no time to find food elsewhere at the last minute, I said yes. Unfortunately, the experience only got worse when I arrived to pick up the food. The order took even longer than promised, and no one offered any apology for the delay or inconvenience. When I asked Angelica for contact information to file a complaint, she became upset and began yelling at me when I handed back the pen and pad she had given me to write the information down. The manager did not step in to calm the situation until she had already been yelling for several minutes. The entire experience was a nightmare. The absolute "wurst" in a good way! That is their slogan. During 2020-21 and from time to time the Dog Haus was on our delivery rotation. Super delish hot dogs! My hubby would either get the Reservoir Dog which is Polish kielbasa, haus chili, haus slaw, and yellow mustard or whatever special they had going on. For me, I like to roll plant based if something is available on the menu. Sooo veggie works well for me and that is beyond sausage, hot Italian, wild arugula, avocado, tomato, crispy onions, spicy basil aioli. So tasty and the crispy onions adds great crunch. I like hot dogs with the Kings Hawaiian hot dog buns. We finally tried them out in person.. Service is OK. They are welcoming in the beginning but they do not thank or acknowledge you after you sit down at a table nor when you leave. The restaurant is clean and there are a couple of TVs to watch sports. When National Hot Dog Day occurred last month; it was the perfect time for me to visit Dog Haus. I've heard so good things about this spot and have also seen so many delicious looking pictures; that I definitely knew I had to try their hot dogs! Hot digitty dog! Everyone was right! The hot dogs were sure are delicious. I got the Chili the Kid while my mom got the Dog House Sooo Cali. Both were different in a good way. The Sooo Cali was definitely my favorite. That spicy basil aioli sauce definitely added a nice flavor to this and I really liked the touch of crispy fried onions. I had to pay $0.99 per sauce on top of that LOL Their menu says that it only costs $12.49 for a 6 piece wing (that's only $2.08 per wing...) Finally tried Dog Haus! Went in yesterday Tue at 6:30 pm and ordered after not being able to order through app, service was friendly and quick! Place was clean and had lots of seating. We ordered the Cowboy, Wurst burrito, Burracho burrito, Bronco burrito, chili cheese tots and onion rings. Everything was delicious!! Servings are large and everything was fresh. I ordered the Bronco and it was the best breakfast burrito I have ever had, period. If I had to nit pick it would be that I ordered the egg sunny side up and the yolk was not runny, but it really didn't matter the cook on the egg was still amazing and the burrito was exceptional. The chili has a little kick so beware for those who can't handle any heat. The chili and cheese for the tots came in a separate container, a layer of cheese sauce on the bottom and the chili on top so when you dump it out on the tots the cheese is on top, thought that was genius to have thought of that, it also kept the tots from going soggy by the time we got home. The rest of the family was equally impressed with their orders which doesn't happen very often. I have been here twice already, and I love this place so far! So I had been eyeballing Dog Haus for a long time because the food looked so good. However, Dog Haus is about ten miles away from me and there's often traffic on the way, so it's not like I can just make a few blocks and arrive. Additionally, I usually eat low carb, so a place that specializes in hot dogs, burgers, and burritos is often a no-go unless I can do a lettuce wrap. But honestly, I just tolerate most lettuce wraps unless the lettuce isn't crunchy. In other words, I usually wouldn't go out of my way to get a lettuce wrap or go figure out if a place has the blah crunchy type of lettuce wrap or not. So one fateful day, everything just happened to line up. I wasn't eating low carb one day and Dog Haus happened to be on the way home. I stopped in and was instantly surprised by the menu. They had an option to make some meals into bowls! I hadn't really looked at pictures of the menu inside the store in like a year, but even now a lot of the pictures here on Yelp display the menus that don't offer those options. Sorry I didn't take pictures of the menu myself. You can make certain meals a lettuce wrap or a bowl which helps make this a pretty low carb/keto friendly place. The first time, I got the Holy Aioli in its proper form. The combination of the King's Hawaiian Bread (?), the soft meat, and the aioli was great! It can start to drip a bit, but I always expect that from a burger anyway. I was back to low carb the next day, but I was excited to try something as a bowl for my next visit. On my second visit, I ordered the Holy Aioli again as a bowl. I didn't expect much, but I was happy to try it out. I wouldn't say it beats the taste of the burger with bread, but honestly... even if I wasn't eating low carb, I think I'd probably get it as a bowl again. It was a pretty large portion, and I felt like it was really worth the price! I can put down some food, but even I had to leave some of my bowl for later. It might not look super pretty, but I don't really care about that. The bowl was a MEAL and later on it was a snack. This place rocks! I'm including pictures of the bowl with soda sized cans to help give an idea on how big it is. Ah yes, I had also ordered the Fonz for my mom the second time I went. Seems like she liked it! Now as for customer service, I did notice they only really greet and talk to you once you get to the counter even if they see you come in. It's not a big deal and I actually am fine with them treating their voices better that way by not shouting "welcome" across the room. I know others probably won't like that though, so maybe a little wave of acknowledgement would be good? It doesn't really matter to me though, because they were still friendly, helpful, and attentive. I know some people would walk right out unless they receive a greeting though, so it might be something for them to note for the future. Overall, Dog Haus is great!
