Top Dog Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Serve is the best in Fort Worth! My pet sitter/dog walker…read moreChristine Lyons does a fantastic job taking care of my boys on a daily basis. Having her come by during the work week and occasional weekends makes life so much easier for me and my pug Igor and chiweenie Hector. Igor is a senior dog with mobility issues and can longer wait as long as he used to. Christine carries him up and down stairs and makes sure he gets the outdoor relief he needs and the walks that both boys need at midday. If you want peace of mind knowing your pets are taken care of and getting their daily walks, look no further! Top Dog will take great care of your babies!

Natalie came for a meet and greet (I'm one of those picky dog owners) with my two Goldens. I was impressed! The whole time I was on my cruise Natalie updated me and took tons of pictures even having to re-do the couch covers as they think they are their own personal tug toys! I finally was able to relax and enjoy a trip without worrying. Thanks Top Dog and Natalie for taking such good of my two goof balls! Let me say as an employee as well I put faith in all the ladies I work with. Shannon and the team did not let me down! They are all top notch! If a fellow employee can recommend them based on their own experience you have nothing to lose except the worry!

I've been meaning to post a glowing review for Happy Tails Dog Sitting on Yelp for quite some time…read more Samantha and Norm are the BEST. She treats your dog as if he was her own and sends you daily updates (via email or text) with pictures, reassuring you that your dog is in great hands and doing well. Most recently, my dog Prince stayed with her for a week - the longest he's been away from home - and his birthday fell during that stay. She baked him the most adorable doggie cake for me to take home to celebrate when I got back, and also got him a Prince crown cookie with his name on it and sent me pics of him in a party hat! He also got a solo walk to PetSmart with Norm to pick his own toy, and an egg for breakfast - one of his favorite foods to eat! I am always blown away by how caring and loving they are and it makes me feel so much better if and when I have to travel, knowing that Prince is in good hands! I adopted him when he was 4 years old, and he had been owner surrendered at a shelter so the thought of boarding him at a kennel just made me so upset. I found her on Yelp and Prince has stayed with her 3 times so far, and I can't say enough great things about Samantha and Norm. 100% recommend them to anyone who wants a home away from home for their dog while they're away. She even checks in periodically, especially right after the stay, to check in on my pup and make sure he's doing well! And the first few visits, she even provided a wonderful take home bag with toys and homemade treats for Prince. So incredibly sweet and well priced. And much better than the options I've seen on DogVacay, which can be $50-75/night for minimal supervision! I'll be back the next time I go out of town!

I really wanted to give Happy Tails a chance, but the complete lack of urgency and poor…read morecommunication made that impossible. I've been trying to plan for a week-long work trip at the beginning of May, followed some time in Europe, and needed to secure boarding. Over three days, I submitted multiple intake forms (in case the first didn't go through), sent texts, and called. There was no follow-up, no acknowledgment. Nothing. The only response I received was a single text saying they weren't accepting new boarders until May 1 and to fill out a request form...which I had already done multiple times. If you're too busy to take on new clients, that's completely understandable. But ignoring repeated outreach and sending a generic, unhelpful response isn't. Communication matters, especially when people are trying to make plans with real deadlines. They may be great with dogs, but based on this experience, I wouldn't rely on them if you expect professionalism or responsiveness.

The young woman who checked us in was very kind and energetic so I think that may have hyped my dog up for some fun. My dog is in no way shape or form introverted, but he doesn't always like people immediately either, so I took his excitement as a good sign. I got one picture after he was fully introduced and he looked like the happy boy I know and love. The pickup process was easy but of course was a little backed up with so many people coming at the same time. I would try them out again.

I have generally had pleasant experiences at this facility, and my dog has always gotten along well…read morewith the other dogs. - Until recently, I had no complaints. However, I encountered a concerning issue that I believe warrants attention. On one occasion, the air-conditioning system at the facility failed. As a result, the dogs were kept outside for the entire day. While staff did try to keep them cool by spraying them down with water, no one notified me--or, as far as I know, any other pet owners--about the situation. I understand that mechanical issues can happen and are sometimes beyond your control, but communication is critical. Had I been informed, I would've come to pick up my dog without hesitation. When I arrived that day, my dog was completely soaked--dripping wet all the way to the car. I didn't initially think much of it since my dog enjoys water, and I assumed he would dry off. Unfortunately, the water used had a foul odor. The smell was so strong that I had to have my car professionally cleaned, including all blankets and dog pads. I spoke with the owner at the time, and I assumed the issue would be addressed. However, on a subsequent visit, I noticed they had applied some sort of fragrance--either perfume or cologne--to my dog. I found that odd but didn't say anything. On our final visit, though, my dog had a strong ammonia or urine-like odor. It was overwhelming and deeply concerning. When I brought this up again with the owner, she seemed dismissive. I was given an explanation about the turf and the pool, but it didn't make sense to me. If equipment is not being properly cleaned, that's a serious health concern. Her demeanor gave me the impression that she wasn't really listening or concerned. My dog's safety and well-being are my top priority. I don't have children--these are my fur kids, and I take their care very seriously, sometimes even more than my own. A dog returning home smelling like ammonia is simply unacceptable. For that reason, I've decided to take my dog elsewhere. I sincerely hope you're able to address these issues and improve communication and sanitation practices moving forward.
