What are we talking about well we're talking about right now is Ricky. Ricky is one of those people that you hope you meet every year of your life. He makes your experience be something that it should not be because that's what life is. It's not always perfect, but for some reason when you step into this bar it is actually perfect. Oh my God His recommendations were on point. He recommends things within your price point. He make sure that you're okay at all times. I will be returning here every time I'm in town. as an old Jew, I don't normally say me gusta but today I say me gusta. Thanks for the wonderful drinks. Thanks for the lovely stories. Thanks for the wonderful time. It's everything a bar should be.

Hopped in here for a drink because it was raining. Super chill bar with a casual ambiance. Bar tender was attentive but didn't talk to you much (which I've noticed seems to be common of a lot of NYC bars). They have a pretty good cider selection which is a bonus for me personally !

My wife works down the block from Dog And Bone so this is my usually happy hour spot while I take our dog into the city to pick her up. The happy hour is from 3-7pm and the prices are actually great for the city. $7 for their draft and $8 for well drinks. AND the bar provides outdoor seating for you and your dog! The location is perfect to have a dog friendly bar because it's right along Baruch's entrance, so there's a long walking path. I get to enjoy a drink while my dog people watches and says hi to other dogs that pass by. I've had the same server every time I've been here and I have to say he's very accommodating. He always checked in on me to see if I needed a water refill or another drink. Something I appreciated since it looked like he was serving both indoor and outdoor seating. 10/10 service. I'd give this place 5 stars if their food was a little better. The price of the food is a little too high for what's being served in my opinion. But I will get their truffle fries as a snack every now and then.

The only British pub that satisfies our hankering for London Pride. But after trying their weekend brunch I am a fan! We recommend the: 1. Full English Breakfast (they made it vegetarian for hubby, but the baked beans were awesome! ) 2. Smashed Avocado Toast 3. Fuller's London Pride (of course) 4. Apple Mule

Wait: Saturday brunch- none. Food: -Breakfast wrap 9/10. The eggs are so fluffy. Kinda like powdered eggs but I think they're real. There was also a ton of egg, you either got a bite of egg or a bite with all 3. You could taste the cheese only slightly, I wouldn't be upset if there was more. Bacon was cooked well. It was on the softer side, which I like much better than a super crunchy slice; it fit into the wrap well. And the crushed avocado just added to the flavor. Good wrap altogether. -I got a salad as my side. Maybe mesclun mix with cucumber, tomato, and balsamic dressing. -Potatoes were good as well (Kyle says). Cooked perfectly and seasoned well.

Came in on a weeknight for happy hour which I believe started at 4 and definitely goes to 7. Happy hours that go to 7 are my favorite. This one included well drinks, select drafts, bottles, and wines for under $10. I got a bottled blue moon for $8, which I think was only a dollar or two cheaper than its non-happy hour price, but savings are savings. The menu had a good number of options. I went with the fish and chips. The fries and fish were great, but I wished my fish was a bit bigger. The bartenders were very friendly. I don't think there was table service as I noticed people at the tables coming up to the bar to order (I sat at the bar). When I arrived at 5:30 it was fairly empty, but the place definitely livened up by 6:30/7. I would come back for another happy hour or to try brunch!

This is a fun place to go to! It's a chance to try British bar vibe while in New York City. We had Scottish eggs, tomato soup and tried their burger and fish and chips. Fun vibes and good food! What's not to like?

Throw a dog a bone and get yourself a good time. Can't say anything poor about this blue collar (get it) type joint. Very quite Irish bar/quick bite joint in Murray hill that all the young folk stay away from. On a Saturday afternoon this place was deserted. Just how I like it. What I snagged: -Black cherry cider -Sausage with chips Can't say thing poor about this place. Bartender was quick, kind, and efficient. Will be back for a quick bite in the near future. Also, got a FREE mimosa with a bunch buy. Very neat.

We're big fans of Dame, but were so disappointed by Crevette. It's good to know the food shines here. Our favorite dish was the Peekytoe Crab and Uni toast. So much so that we ended up ordering another one. We will definitely return for brunch so we can get the burger and pancakes. Hopefully we can get reservations for inside so we don't have the cigarette ash problem.

The team went above and beyond when we brought our wedding cake (which had been frozen for a year). It was such a touching moment for us, and they handled it with care and enthusiasm. As for the food: incredible. The steak tartare was perfectly balanced and beautifully prepared. The tuna was fresh and vibrant. And the Beef Wellington... honestly one of the best I've had in New York City. Perfectly cooked, rich, elegant, and absolutely worthy of a celebration dinner. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: romantic, warm, refined but relaxed. It felt special without being stiff. If you're looking for a place to celebrate something meaningful, this is it. This is a tiny shop, but contains a variety of items to choose from, such as cookies, candy, chocolate, tea, jam, etc. We ordered: The Sheperd's Pie ($7.95) had actual lamb inside so there was a bit of a gamey taste. This was surprising because a lot of pubs just lie and use beef instead. The mash on top also has truffle oil mixed in. This was my friend's favorite pie. The Chicken and Mushroom Pie ($6.25), and the Chicken and Leek Pie ($6.25) were both great, but we preferred the mushroom because it had more traditional gravy. The Scotch Egg ($5.95) was too greasy and salty for us. The Sausage Roll ($6.25) had a flakey crust. I liked it. The Steak and Ale Pie ($6.95) was meaty and flavorful, but it was heavy. My friend was not a fan of both the sausage roll, and the steak and ale pie because she found it too heavy and salty. Overall the pies are good quality and there are not many places to get them. Note that all these pastries were warmed them up in the oven when we got home prior to eating.

(Word to the wise: Do not simply drop in, as the place is usually packed with customers who made reservations beforehand, so make sure to book your table online.) The food is always superb, just the kind of comfort food that I gravitate to whenever I visit England, and the cozy, intimate vibe of the place reminds me of what it feels like to be human after enduring ongoing dialysis three times per week for the past six years. The staff is always courteous and friendly -- special shout-out to the most excellent Molly -- and the restaurant's proprietor is quite a character who clearly gives a damn about the quality of the restaurant's every aspect. I have tried many of the items on the menu, but my go-to repasts include the Full Monty (the full English breakfast ), sausage rolls , and the bangers (sausages), bacon, and beans plate with an excellent multigrain toast. And though I am not really a dessert guy (I favor savory flavors) , I have great appreciation for their deliciously tart rhubarb crumble with hot custard. And don't get me started on their comprehensive roster of fresh teas served out of individual pots at your table. (I favor the blackcurrant tea with milk.) An eatery of its singular excellence is as rare as hen's teeth and is to be held most dear.
