We have been met with hours of frustrated customer service due to technology issues on their side, that is "fixed" until next time where they have no recollection or proof, and we have to do it all over again. Emergency services are in shambles, and the dispatch folks are seemingly also lost. absolute worst of it all, we have been charged multiple times for the same delivery, which is thousands of dollars lost in one moment.. I am a current Dodge Propane customer. I called this morning because we ran out of heating oil in them home we purchased 7 months ago, which is my mistake because we're not used to heating oil and have previously only had natural gas. I called Dodge to see about getting heating oil delivered and was told that they are not taking any new customers even though I have purchased propane from them several times. Bad customer service. Val is not exactly rude but has no customer service training it seems. As soon as I'm able I'm switching to another company for propane. read more

They only deliver one a day a week (Tuesday) to our location we ran out of propane on a Wednesday, they wanted to charge $90 extra to get a delivery. We continue to run out because we are running everything heat, hot water, stove off of a 50 gal tank they were suppose to install two 100gal tanks in Oct 2018 and it's now Feb 2019 so we run out almost every month. We have had to go stay at hotels just to keep our kids warm. When I call they are very rude and short with me, I ask when the tank are getting hooked up and they seem to never know that we have the tanks sitting in the yard not hooked up. I would avoid using them if possible. read more

Website states they are open 24 hours, but they are not. That being said, I have been a customer of Dodge Oil since I bought my mobile home 17 years ago. We use propane for heat and they have been good about delivery, even taking payments. They have replaced our hot water heater and furnace in the past without issues (though I suspect they are higher priced than other businesses in the area). read more

I have been a frustrated customer of Dodge Oil for 20+ years. We heat our house with propane. It is not easy to switch companies when you do this. We are auto delivery for propane. We ran out of propane in the middle of the night January 29th. At the time the register on the propane tank said we still had 80 lbs/gallons of propane. The flame kept going out. I called Dodge Sunday morning to find out that it would be $200 for a service call and we would have to pay for travel time which was another $200. If we waited until Monday we would not have to pay for travel time and the rate would $100'ish. We opted to wait. They showed up Monday morning and the gentlemen was very nice. He could not get the propane stove going. He went out to the tanks and discovered that they were empty. Apparently when he shook them the register went down to zero. Fast forward to this past Monday (February 21st). I checked our propane level and it is down to 20 lb/gln. I called Dodge to see when they could deliver propane to me. The woman I spoke with was very nice. She said they could be here on Wednesday (Feb. 23). I just called them and the same woman said the driver cancelled my delivery for today and he would deliver by the end of the week. I can't stress enough how frustrating and completely anti customer this company is. I am quite sure we will run out of propane again! Second time in one month! What is the point in having automatic delivery if they don't deliver the product automatically BEFORE you run out. I will be looking to switch to another company this spring/summer. This is not my first experience running out of propane with Dodge Oil. They desperately need to get their act together. read more

I started doing business with this company over 10 years ago when my usual delivery service wasn't able to get to me for weeks. Dodge Oil had better prices and was in the area every week so I changed over to them and am so glad I did! Not only do they sell/deliver oil and propane at great prices but they also have a great service department- they have saved us many times when we had furnace problems, fast and dependable and they don't seem to mind my never ending list of questions which I greatly appreciate. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a dependable, honest and reliable company to keep your furnace happy and fed through the cold winters! Relatively new customer. Switched when my local dealer sold out to the "big boys". Nobody's perfect but they make every effort to provide a good service. As a single income family income i appreciate they don't hassle me about the billing. I always pay up by the end of the season and they seem fine with that. Service guys are friendly. read more

Had the unfortunate experience of talking to Gary this morning to place an order for propane. Very short, rude and impatient. Sounded like he was chewing food while on the phone with me as well. It's too bad because I've always had good experiences in the past with the other customer service members. He ended up hanging up on me before I could confirm the delivery date. I called back and spoke with a nice woman who I've ordered from before. She apologized for him, which wasn't her responsibility, but a nice, professional gesture. They do not have a review page on their website, so this is where the complaint is going. read more

For sixteen years we've used Dodge Oil for our oil delivery service, annual cleanings and maintenance. Their service people have always been thorough and careful to keep things clean when doing their work in our cellar. They have always been quick to respond if needed for contingencies related to weather which we do of course have here in Maine. read more

Had some issues with my furnace the last couple of weeks . I must say Dodge Oil has a great tech his name is Russell he works out of the Naples office . Very knowledgeable did a great job cleaned the space up after he was finished . A valuable asset to your company . Dodge Oil. THE best. And TOMMY. THE best. I ran out of fuel early Saturday morning, about 4 am. Called for emergency delivery on one of the coldest nights yet. I also have 3 apts. in building that I heat, so I needed quick service! The man at Dodge who answered the phone said he would contact the on-call driver and then he would call me. That driver called within 10 minutes and I couldn't have been more relieved to know that it was Tommy, who is my regular delivery man--most dependable, nice, hard-working guy. (Said he had just thought of me a day before as he was driving by my house on another delivery, thinking it was time for me to get a fill...that's how well he knows his customers!) He let me know he could be at my house in 30 minutes, which he was, and got the tanks filled and the furnace re-lit in quick time. My tenants didn't even know it had happened!
